I do not.

I admire her because she has successfully made the transition from young pretty star to older actress. I think this is much harder for women than men in Hollywood.

Im indifferent to her but Jane Lynch and Lesley Mann on the other hand piss me off argh.

When she has to act upset and curls up her hand every time. Painful to watch. One trick pony.

RedPencils Sat 23-Feb-13 12:35:43

I don't mind her too much. Wish she would stop it with 'the laugh'. I'm on tenterhooks all the way through her films waiting for it.

I do like Pretty Woman despite myself.

A lone voice, reading the rest of this thread, but I love her!

Watched Eat Pray Love the other night. It was tedious and I switched it off when the third segment started. What a waste of an evening.

Don't really like her, yet I'm always compelled to watch "Sleeping with the Enemy" and "Pretty Woman".

Can't stand "Runaway Bride", and I think she ruined "Notting Hill". What's the film called where she puts mayonnaise in her hair?

I think she's a great actress.

My Best Friends Wedding, Erin Brockovich.

She can convey emotion using her eyes without saying a word, love her!

Pretty Woman makes me barf.

Yotamsrazor Sat 23-Feb-13 11:07:23

I liked her in Erin Brokovitch but not in anything else.

The only one I loved was Mystic Pizza but probably more for the supporting cast TBH

MidnightMasquerader Sat 23-Feb-13 09:04:19

Yes, TC is very good at what he does. He utterly excels at being an in-the-closet-arse.

I quite enjoyed Mystic Pizza. But no she can't act, not as annoying as Chinny Knightly though.

WoollyEyedandWittering Sat 23-Feb-13 08:52:52

I like her acting and don't see much about her in the press - probably a good sign <hard stare at Ms Lohan>

I hate Tom cruise (although will grudgingly admit he is good at what he does) - shame he's a total wankbadger.

MidnightMasquerader Sat 23-Feb-13 08:47:45

Yeah, the whole 'if Disney did prostitutes' thing is ludicrous, but she is still lovely in it.

Tee2072 Sat 23-Feb-13 08:42:04

I don't think she's very pretty and no, I don't think she can act.

notnowImreading Sat 23-Feb-13 08:39:56

I love her: she glows. Watched Pretty Woman last night and was offended by it pretty much every minute but couldn't stop thinking how great she was.

TeeBee Sat 23-Feb-13 07:57:20

I think she's absolutely lovely.

MidnightMasquerader Sat 23-Feb-13 07:55:43

I have no particular issue with her. Found her dull in Notting Hill, but then Notting Hill was dull.

She was stunning in her prime. Still is.

TheCountessOlenska Sat 23-Feb-13 07:49:46

Tinkerbell was a low point in my opinion.

xMinerva Sat 23-Feb-13 07:47:05

I don't mind her. I wouldn't not watch a film because she was in it.

stargirl1701 Sat 23-Feb-13 07:44:06

No.

ArtVandelay Sat 23-Feb-13 07:39:52

Erin Brokovitch (spelling) was quite enjoyable. Steel Magnolias, but that wasn't really down to her. I am not a fan - there are tons of better actors and better movies. Most of her stuff is pretty lame.

Ooooooo, Sleeping With The Enemy - remembered another one!

But she was crap in it.

She does this weird low grunty thing when she's required to laugh. It's odd.

hmm

Sparklingbrook Sat 23-Feb-13 07:33:34

There was one film she was in Pelican Brief was it? Where she whispered the whole time.

I hate Pretty Woman.
