I have posted this in Adult Fiction too, but...
I did world book night in 2011 but got the flu & couldn't give out all my books! (Reapplied again this year as I so badly want to do it properly)
Anyway, the gist is a have a fair few copies of my chosen book from 2011, and I was wondering if any MN-ers fancied a novel in the post? 
It's The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, which is an indescribably wonderful book. Any takers?
Farley basically you choose from a short list of 12 or so books, and write about why you like it and why you'd want to share it (the book, I mean) If you're selected, you get sent a boxful of that particular book to hand out on World Book Night (the grown up version of world book day!)
It's absolutely fab - def worth googling. They announce the selected people tomorrow <will cry if I don't get it> but you can sign up to be on the application list for next year.

My Internet connection is being stooopid and failing me, but I think I've messaged everyone back if not, then sorry! But I have written all addresses on envelopes so it's all ready to go <excited book dance> will let you know when I've posted them tomorrow although if anyone else would like a copy they're more than welcome too!
Absolutely NO money for postage required, by the way - as I have said to the lovely people who messaged me, books need to be loved and enjoyed, and there's nothing sadder than an unread book. I imagine good book karma heading my way from now on

Hullo! I have just done a mass post to everyone who pm'd me 2nd class post (the post office was closed by the time I got there still in my pjs, what a slattern!--) so they should arrive sometime next week. Did pretty packaging too to make it more fun to open --ran out of envelopes. Even more of a slattern
Hopefully we can start a thread on the book once everyone's read it on tenterhooks waiting for an email from WBN at the moment!
Bugger - that went wrong! Must read before posting! Essentially I am an envelope-less pajama clad slattern, so wrapping paper wrapped books should be with you next week

I started my own fred about this this morning Nevermind in the hope that you would see it - you haven't!! But thankyou so much, I love getting good post and DS had lots of fun with the confetti!! And DP came home and asked who the heck Bedmonster was!
I'm looking forward to getting stuck in, though it will be a few days before I can as I'm wading through a hideous book which i MUST read before my book club meets in a few days.
