Nigel Slater & Clare Balding. Both lovely and replies to tweets where I mentioned them, but no need to reply really.
Also Dr Ranj, but Helena from NickJr followed me
A few (but then people I think are 'famous' others might not even of heard of - I haven't heard of most people mentioned up thread here)
Had a conversation with, and helped out, Tony Gardner (My Parents are Aliens, Fresh Meat etc)
Katie Fforde (Author)
Susan Hill (author)
Sophie Hannah (author)
Tani Grey Thompson
Alice Arnold
Sophie Aldred (Dr Who actress)
Several Horrible History people (including about MN with Mat!)
Sure there are a few more too.
I do like twitter. Despite not normally being bothered about the cult of 'celeb', I do enjoy the interaction you can have with people you have heard of but will probably never meet.

LL cool J laughed at one of my jokes and i had a conversation with Adam Sevani (Moose from step up 1, 2 and 3) :-)
I don't really follow celebs & TV people, more science & music, so I've had twitter interactions with Tracey Thorne (Everything But the Girl), Ben Miller, Dr Alice Roberts, Ben Goldacre (Bad Science), Cerys Matthews (Catatonia/lots of BBC shows these days).

Chris Evans.
And Chris Addison. He called me disingenuous because I dared query a tweet where he was being all anti establishment and cool (at least he thought so). So I unfollowed him and have never watched anything he was in since.
Mat Horne, replied to a restaurant reccomendation I gave. And Lisa Eldridge a couple of times. I love her and she's very nice and I see her replying to lots of people.

I've had two DM's from Fay Ripley. I was quite chuffed!
Hugh F-W although it could have been his HQ. Derren Litten who writes Benidorm has replied a few times.
Oh yes - authors too, though no one extremely famous. Sophie Hannah chats with loads of people.
