Yes but not for sloppy after sex. I bought them and we never use them as no matter how many times I have washed them black bloody fluff still clings on where you need a bath/shower again.

Yes - I use it to clean the dogs paws when he's muddy. Feeling a bit weird about it now though and I don't know why!

Yes, they are the towel of choice in the kitchen.

I have 4 so there, make of that what you will

2 are my kitchen handtowels and the other 2 belong to DS (20). I thought they'd be practical for him at uni but I suspect they don't get washed as often as they should (judging by the crustiness of them when they arrived home at Christmas)

BTW we only use them for normal towelling purposes - getting dried after a shower/bath

A few. Initially to tone with the kitchen and then found they had the beneficial side effect of stopping it from looking like there had been a murder helping DH dry up tidily after his infrequent shaves.

I had never considered them worthy though. Perhaps now I will...
