Never have, never seen a need for it. I'm heading towards 40, am I just a hairy freak? I shave legs & pits but never bikini area

xpost, plenty.
Lovely. So do men do this too, or is it yet another way in which our bodies are not good enough in their natural state?

Hooray for like-minded folk! I too "leave well alone". Sometimes I worry that I am the only un-waxed woman left and that I've only got away with it by being with the same partner since my early 20s (what if DH died/left me and I had to date new men - would I have to wax it all off then? This is something that I sometimes worry about
)
Hecate I dont understand why either. There will be a arsjazzle soon no doubt.
Who wouldn't want a disco ball for an arsehole?!
gleaming white ringpieces,
That phrase is going to stay with me for a long time & make me snigger every time I think about it!
PS If it gleams does your arse whoop with joy, Heacate??
Actually I kind of tell a lie, I was trimmed when I had emergency c section with DS2 but was unconscious so it doesn't count?
Anal bleaching? It seems a bit like polishing a turd, I mean it's never going to make it attractive is it? (Unless that's your thing in which case wouldn't you like it unbleached?)
Off to find some mind bleach to get anal bleaching off my mind
Men shave of their pube bush too. Apparently it makes it look bigger. In reality it makes it look scary! Like a baby mole

In response to your title question
I'm quite sure my mother has never attempted to get rid of her fanjo hair. Except for when she gave birth which she cites as medically necessary.
She knows I do and sighs about the pressure of the yummy mummy trap I have apparently fallen into. Till I gently remind her that I do her facial care for her too.

My X used to trim his, he loved himself though, I loved waxing his back and chest, such enjoyment, I swear I ripped it so slowly it much have been so painful it is possibly the only thing that could get me near him again would be if I was allowed to wax the bastard.
I like that flashback, it's a good one! Oh he screamed like a baby and asked me to stop once.
I shaved mine all off once (for him), it just wasn't right and then it growing in OMG - itchy
So do men do this too, or is it yet another way in which our bodies are not good enough in their natural state?
Noooo don't be silly, men don't need to because their bum holes are just for pooing out of.

Oh but AF he was a vain weird bastarding body builder
I dunno, DP's started sprouting a bit of shoulder hair in recent years and is really self conscious about it. I'd understand if he wanted to get rid of it before the beach, although it doesn't bother me at all. I'd hate it if he got rid of his chest hair or pubes though.

I had some aquatherapy, last year and had to buy a swimsuit, specially. That was hard enough to do in November. I'm naturally very hairy had to do a substantial trim and tidy and spent a lot of time very sore around the edges, as a result. I would have looked like I was wearing a clown wig down there, if I hadn't.
If I ever have to set foot in a swimming pool again, I'm going to look for some of those board shorts. Or pinch DH's swim shorts.
running away from Hecate, screaming.

You'll all be pleased to hear that I have asked more than one man to reconsider his ball hair.
They have, although I'm yet to persuade one to wax them. Yet!!

I have never touched my pubes either.
especially not during pregnancy when all mners said I had to (not me personally!) because people gave to see down there.
there's a jolly good evolutionary reason why hair doesn't fall out during pregnancy not least because it's hard to reach down there and it protects you.
it also acts as a cushion

All natural here as well. In fact the only hair neatening I do is underarms. Have about 14 hairs on the front of each calf and thats it for legs! Swimming costume covers all fanjo hair. Count myself lucky.
