I feel uncomfortable

NotSureILikeIt Wed 20-Feb-13 14:42:29

I cannot stand it. Hate it in fact.

Just a programme to sneer at people.

Hesterton Wed 20-Feb-13 14:43:55

I have watched it. Once was enough. IMO it's exploitative.

Geekster Wed 20-Feb-13 14:47:30

I think he is a horrible man. If he spoke to people like that in the street he would- rightly - get a smack in the mouth. It's easy to be a know it all gobshite when you have got bouncers to protect you. It's all to serve his own ego, how many times does he need to say its called the Jeremy Kyle show. Arse.

No I don't watch it just seen it when other people had it on at work.

JakeBullet Wed 20-Feb-13 14:48:47

It does make uncomfortable viewing. I watch occasionally....my 92 year old grandmother watches every single episode...but turns the sound off as she doesn't like the shouting grin...she switches the text on and reports back how shocking it all was!

I watched an episode where someone I knew was in it. I do t think Mezzanine added anything to their lives apart from a half sister to the baby in the family as Dad was also father to another child as DNA proved. As none of the adults can stand one another it makes little difference.

JakeBullet Wed 20-Feb-13 14:49:32

Mezzanine?? I meant "Jezza" of course....blasted predictive text.

He's an angry, angry man.

He uses the poor fuckers on his show to channel his own unhappiness and insecureties.

And his hair looks like a wig.

I Remenber one where there was a DNA test and the potential dads were father and son. Then test revealed it was neither of them.

I do sometimes watch it, but I often feel sorry for the pathetic souls who he shouts at.

Nancy66 Wed 20-Feb-13 15:25:04

I sometimes watch it.

I don't like Kyle but neither do I care much about the lowlife that appear.

The thing is what should be compelling - ie 'one of 8 men could be the father of my kid' rarely is because those involved are so thick and inarticulate.

daisygatsby Wed 20-Feb-13 15:26:13

he's an atrocious cunt

hellsbellsmelons Wed 20-Feb-13 15:31:26

I never watched it until recently and now I love it.
I don't watch it all the time but if I see it's on and there is nothing else on then I'll watch it.
It certainly makes my toes curl at times but it's all 'good viewing'!
Well for me anyway!
I think it's great how he just doesn't care if he upsets someone who's done something daft. And the way he gets in peoples faces!
Brilliant!!! More Jezza please!!!

Oh, he royally hacks me off angry

"I know who I believe" (yes the attractive female guest, obviously)

"Of course you're the father" (Erm why of course ? If there's a DNA test there's doubt. Some of the mums have it down to a short list of four. But JK is jubilant when he can tell someone to step up )

"You're a Great Mum" (How the feck does he know. He only met them an hour ago)

And the most piss boiling "The kids".
Aaaargh. Children. Babies. Son. Daughter.
I can't abide kids as a name.

<<Rant over>>

I very occasionally watch a couple of minutes. Makes me feel I might just do a few things right.

usualsuspect Wed 20-Feb-13 15:34:24

It's exploitative.

And hes a dick.

pictish Wed 20-Feb-13 15:34:48

It's a freak show, a circus.

Point and laugh...point and laugh.

It's a moral void.

pollypandemonium Wed 20-Feb-13 15:43:44

A necessary evil.
I like the fact that he doesn't sit on the fence and that he tells it like it is.

Maryz Wed 20-Feb-13 15:52:28

Of course I don't watch it shock

or at least I would never admit it

I hope they pay them a lot. And personally, whatever the people on it have done, it isn't as disgusting as the way he tries to manipulate them to make it sound "interesting" and the way he pompously pretends to get really "caring".

fucker.

eggso Wed 20-Feb-13 15:53:32

It's something i'll put on if there's nothing else on. I won't go out of my way to watch it.

I don't think it's exploitive in the slightest. No one FORCES girls to sleep with 10 blokes and then wonder who the dad is.... Most of the people on there are utter cretins

PetiteRaleuse Wed 20-Feb-13 15:54:06

It's exploitative and he comes across as very vile.

JakeBullet Wed 20-Feb-13 15:56:25

My friend who appeated on it had a car crash childhood. Tbh it was the last thing she needed to do......and she had little aftercare either.sad

ThreeWheelsGood Wed 20-Feb-13 15:57:34

I don't think they pay them Maryz. Apparently some go for the free night in a hotel. And I guess some go as they've never heard of family counselling or free DNA tests.

I used to watch it a lot but now I find it a bit exploitative and way too shouty!

Maryz Wed 20-Feb-13 16:01:05

Do they really not pay them shock. Bloody hell, they are even stupider than I thought.

And one other thing, while I'm at it (bearing in mind that I don't watch it of course), I don't believe he doesn't know the results of lie detectors and DNA tests while he interviews. I don't believe it. Because he never goes apeshit at the "innocent" person.

foreversunny Wed 20-Feb-13 16:04:18

Hate it. Loathe it, can't stand it.

He's so far up his own arse he can see out of his own mouth. He hides behind his bouncers. He wouldn't stand a chance in the real world behaving like he does. Prick.

They bring people on the show who are often in depressing, vulnerable states merely to snigger and make "entertainment" out of them.

The whole thing is a fucking disgrace.

I love it, am so looking forward to the new episodes next week.

No-one forces anyone to go on there.
