Just watched something special and the lovely Justin always looks happy and his eyes smile as well as his mouth (if you get me). Mr Bloom on the other hand... his eyes always look... dead. If you covered his mouth when he smiles he would look blank. It's creepy.

So based on this I have judged him completely and decided he secretly hates children and this is just a stepping stone on his way to other acting jobs. Or he is a closet psychopath and has a house full of dead bodies. Buuuuut I still wouldn't kick him out of bed because he is yummy. I'm a terrible person.

Bet he has a skin suit at home in his creepy dungeon

He mostly sings out of one side of his mouth. It annoys me.

I don't what it is but I quite fancy Mister Bloom, I don't think I get out enough.

He has a wife and kids, she is probably on here! I am on the lusting thread too. DP worked on this series and apparently he is a nice guy who sleeps a lot with his hat over his eyes between takes

I quite like Mr Bloom! He always seems cheerful.

He would take you home and skin you while singing about his veggies

I think if you had to sing all that shite all day long you'd be dead behind the eyes too.

Skin suit, like in silence of the lambs, the serial killer was making a suit out of pieces of skin from his victims.

He'll have us all in the compost thing when his wife reads this and dobs us in!

It's not blankness. It's despair at the thought of having to do another "wink for Mumsnet".

That is weird - I think the exact opposite. Mr Bloom seems quite warm and natural with the children . . .Mr Tumble has a smile that doesn't reach his eyes and often cuts them off mid-sentence, and when he laughs at their jokes it sounds really fake.

Team Bloom! (yes he does look a bit like a smack dealer now you mention it Kato but I am deep in The Wire and Stringer Bell at the mo, so not a deal breaker for me )

I have not noticed Mr Bloom's dead eyes, I think the veggies singing distracts me.

I Can Cook woman, on the other hand, hates kids with a passion I can see her itching to batter them with that talking spoon.

Haha, I do agree about Justin, he's constantly waiting for 'his turn' to speak!

I don't warm to Mr Bloom either. And he is NOT attractive!! I second the poster who thinks he recycles bodies in the compostarium.

And I hate the way he says 'Margaret'.

Mr Bloom is lovely - I watch it even when DS isn't here. i can kid of see the dealer thing a little bit though.

Hmm you've got me second guessing my opinion of old Justin now. Will be scrutinising him next time we watch!
