Ds and I are having our annual advent calendar competition where we have guessed what is in all the windows. One point for something you guessed but on the wrong day, two points for the right thing on the right day.

Today I had a decoration (1 point), ds also had a decoration (no points, as he didn't guess decoration for any day). He also has the Playmobil Knights tournament advent calendar and had a king person in it! smile

Indith Sat 01-Dec-12 08:21:43

Playmobil Knights! Wow!

BIL got the dcs the lego one and playmobil one as their christmas present so ds1 got a lego firefighter and dd got a playmobil letter box. Ds2 doesn't have one because he is only 8 months old and I couldn't be arsed to find stuff to put in one. Maybe I should have got him a chocolate one so I could help him out grin.

I lopve the sound of a kights one though! I didn't know they did one, dd would have adored it.

Nagoo Sat 01-Dec-12 08:25:07

Hi snowmuch smile

DS has the Playmo one, but I got up for work at the crack of dawn this morning so didn't see him open it.

I shall guess at a playmo post box grin

SnowMuchToBits Sat 01-Dec-12 08:31:38

The knights one is actually from a couple of years ago, but I managed to get one from Amazon. I knew it was the one he wanted. smile

INeedThatForkOff Sat 01-Dec-12 10:21:53

Well I put DD's calendar together so I know anyway, but today she had a play-doh rolling pin.

INeedThatForkOff Sat 01-Dec-12 10:22:42

A pic of a church in her 'proper' nativity one.

Clandy Sat 01-Dec-12 12:52:59

I had a Santa today - shared between me, dh and dd1! She got a drumstick lolly and instructions to write a letter to Santa.

ValiumQueen Sat 01-Dec-12 16:10:23

Directions to find the Christmas tree for in their room, and choc coins. I do my own the night before dependent on weather, energy etc.

The tree is pink and they love it. Batteries are flat, so may have them tomorrow, under supervision in case DD2 tries to eat them.

YoHoHoAndABottleOfSherry Sat 01-Dec-12 16:16:58

DD1 got a playmobil tree with two squirrels.

DD2 has one customised by me, she got a playmobil 123 squirrel.

SummerRain Sat 01-Dec-12 16:57:29

A postbox here too

CheerMum Sat 01-Dec-12 17:25:17

I got a Lego Friends Olivia and dd got a Lego City Fireman, the two cats got choccy treats, as did the dog and Dh!

DianaTrent Sat 01-Dec-12 17:41:38

DD got a Playmobil explorer man. She has the dinosaur advent calendar and is very excited by it. We assembled the scenery a little while ago.

SantasBlotto Sat 01-Dec-12 17:53:50

A mini bottle of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb grin

MonsterBookOfTinsel Sat 01-Dec-12 18:25:49

Hello SnowMuch grin
Ds has a moshi monster toy advent calendar. He got a white reindeer looking Moshling.
Dd has a Zhu zhu hamster one, she got a hamster.
Mine blush had some chocolate in it and a bell picture smile

DS1 got a playmobil letterbox.

DS2 is 5 months so a bit young smile

Taffeta Sat 01-Dec-12 18:35:22

Hi SnowMuch smile

DS got a weeny Lindt chocolate reindeer
DD got a reindeer/unicorn (reinicorn?) Moshi thing

They were both delighted

When is good to set up the scenery? I have a feeling it will get destroyed before the big day.

Taffeta Sat 01-Dec-12 18:36:30

<high-fives Monster>

Its a reinicorn, dahlink wink

Playmobil postbox

Picture of bells <Wowser>

Milkybar ... With pic of a tree

Kirstoll Sat 01-Dec-12 18:52:57

Why didn't I get a mini bottle of flower bomb?!?!? Where do u get this said advent calendar from?!?!?

MonsterBookOfTinsel Sat 01-Dec-12 18:53:06

Hi 5s Taff!
A reinicorn, how cool.
I think ds has misplaced his already grin

Taffeta Sat 01-Dec-12 19:02:46

DD I made it up

Tikkabillajive Sat 01-Dec-12 20:04:22

Hi SnowMuch!

DS has the Playmobil dinosaur one too - he got an 'alcheologist' who he has called Oliver. Oliver has already been on several adventures around the house and had a wee in the river on the cardboard scenery hmm.

DD chose the Playmobil princess wedding one which she admits is a bit sappy (plus we already have several Playmobil wedding cakes!) but she was pleased with her princess today.

We also have a hanging one with pockets - today was DS's turn and he got a rubber in the shape of a frog which he was VERY pleased with.

SantasBlotto Sat 01-Dec-12 21:27:39

It's brill - it's the Selfridges Beauty Advent. I've wanted one for yearsandyearsandyears... and this year I was finally good enough. I made a coooooooooo noise like a pigeon when I opened the first door hmm <twat> grin

HappyTurquoise Sat 01-Dec-12 22:37:11

We all got a chocolate heart, and an earth magnet. :D

dementedma Sat 01-Dec-12 22:40:11

A picture of a candle. We don't do ones with stuff in.

coldcupoftea Sat 01-Dec-12 22:50:52

DD1 got a playmobil princess, which she was ridiculously excited about.

DD2 got the playmobil tree with 2 squirrels! She was a bit non-plussed, so the squirrels have now been joined by Peppa Pig and George to keep them company. I deliberately fiddled with the calendar so she gets santa tomorrow!

That's a good idea, I'm not sure DS is going to be thrilled by some letters for his postbox in his sparse cardboard diorama!

difficultpickle Sat 01-Dec-12 22:53:54

Playmobil post office calendar here. Today a post box. Ds placed it next to the footsteps in the snow on the calendar backdrop. According to ds the footsteps in the snow are Santa's.

SnowMuchToBits Sun 02-Dec-12 15:56:30

Hello all, sorry late posting today, as I've been away overight with Norman the Foreman! smile.

Today I had some sweets (0 points) and ds had a gingerbread house (1 point). In the Playmo one he had a crown and scroll of paper for the kingy person.

MonsterBookOfTinsel Sun 02-Dec-12 19:10:53

Ds got a blue glump moshling with a snowy head, very excited about the snowy head!
Dd got a white tiny basket. Disappointing, but choc got her over it grin

HappyTurquoise Sun 02-Dec-12 20:06:30

Your Ds got a blue glump moshling with a snowy head? you can get blue glumps by moshling? That sounds painful. (yes, I have no inkling of what you're on about! grin )

MonsterBookOfTinsel Sun 02-Dec-12 20:36:16

Haha Happy grin
Nor did I 6 months ago, ds now has a book with all the names in

bedmonster Sun 02-Dec-12 21:47:58

Me too Santas grin
I was coming on here to boast about my wonderful present and you got here first! I have one every year (well, for the last 3!) and I love love love it!

Taffeta Sun 02-Dec-12 21:54:35

I shall regularly check into this thread so you can tell me what all DD's moshlings are Ty smile

DS got a Lindt chocolate square with Mary on

difficultpickle Sun 02-Dec-12 22:01:08

We got letters today. Ds posted them in the post box and then spent a considerable amount of time trying to retrieve them out of the post box.

peachypips Sun 02-Dec-12 22:02:02

Playmobil PO people - we had a post box on the first day but it doesn't open- did yours?? If so, where and how??!!

difficultpickle Sun 02-Dec-12 22:15:10

Post box definitely doesn't open. Ds won't be putting the letters back in now he managed to get them out, it took him ages.

SnowMuchToBits Sun 02-Dec-12 22:18:56

We had a Playmo PO last year - but can't remember about the letters. Really, Norman the foreman was just so pleased to get a Christmas tree, we did't care too much about posting letters........ hmm

Nagoo Mon 03-Dec-12 07:32:45

Morning Snowmuch smile

we got a tree and a squirrel while I was away.

It's pretty.

Nagoo Mon 03-Dec-12 07:36:21

I have looked it up, it says you can open the post box by pushing at either side, downwards.

I'm not looking at one, so I can't say if this is true?

SnowMuchToBits Mon 03-Dec-12 07:39:39

I'll go and find our post box later and investigate....

Today ds had a rocking horse (1 point) and I had a tree, but it wasn't a Christmas tree, it was a sort of ornamental lemon tree in a pot. Ds allowed me one point, as I had guessed tree for today but had intended it to be a Christmas tree.....

In the Playmo calendar we had a golden cloak for the kingy person. smile

Indith Mon 03-Dec-12 08:03:31

The postbox does open, it is like a drawer so you just push the middle of teh postbox through.

A sack for dd and a christmas tree for ds1.

SummerRain Mon 03-Dec-12 09:28:03

Ahh... We were wondering about the postbox opening, ds2 has been shaking the letters out the top!

Dds turn this morning and it was a bag for the post.

peachypips Mon 03-Dec-12 09:38:40

You lot are bloody marvellous. Just opened my PB!! It is indeed like a drawer. Thank you nagoo for looking it up!!

SnowMuchToBits Mon 03-Dec-12 09:59:43

Ah yes, I remember now, it pushes open! Norman is thinking about putting his Christmas tree up outside his portakabin soon. Maybe we could get the postbox out too, so he can post his Christmas cards! smile

Tikkabillajive Mon 03-Dec-12 11:27:39

Hello! Oliver the archaeologist now has an Indiana Jones hat, some binoculars, a map and a GPS. DS is EXTREMELY pleased with him.

Princess Christabelle has a crown and a fan and today she got a dressing table - she also spent the night in Oliver's cardboard tent - not sure what her prince will have to say about that when he turns up! shock

SnowMuchToBits Mon 03-Dec-12 15:37:07

Shocking behaviour from Princess Christabelle I'd say! shock

SnowMuchToBits Tue 04-Dec-12 07:56:24

Today ds had a toy car (no points) and I had some teddy bears (1 point). Shame the teddy bears couldn't have waited until tomorrow though, as I had guessed them for then! grin

In the Playmo one we had an owl on a stand. Norman has been having a conversation with it... hmm

Indith Tue 04-Dec-12 09:56:29

A star for the christmas tree and an angel. The angel's hald is too big so it keeps slipping hmm.

Tikkabillajive Tue 04-Dec-12 11:17:41

Great excitement this morning as Oliver the archaeologist now has a motorbike!

jen127 Tue 04-Dec-12 11:24:05

I have the daily mail advent calendar and got L'occitaine hand cream ! mmmm! Loving it !

SnowMuchToBits Tue 04-Dec-12 12:35:52

I'm having visions of Princess Christabelle riding pillion on Oliver's motorbike... grin

Kirstoll Tue 04-Dec-12 13:08:29

i want to hear more about the selfridges advent calendar.... I am living vicariously. DD has three chocolate varieties - Peppa Pig, and two cadbury, because apparently both sets of grandparents bought on, as did MIL - which she is extremely excited about. I think I will look into a playmobil one for next year - they sound brill!

YoHoHoAndABottleOfSherry Tue 04-Dec-12 13:47:36

An owl on a stand! DD absolutely can't wait for the owl in her playmobil advent calendar (it was the main reason we bought it), but I think she still has another couple of weeks to go. She got a crow/raven this morning.

bedmonster Tue 04-Dec-12 14:05:53

Kirstoll, it's beautiful! I love it so much, I wouldn't care if I didn't get any presents at Christmas!! It's really heavy so you know it's got lots of treasures and it looks so sparkly and shiny on the windowsill next to the rubbish kids ones grin
Full of lots of mini goodies, the perfume, yesterday was a hand cream but quite big for a miniature, and will open the next door tonight!

KrisMoose Tue 04-Dec-12 14:24:36

Today the Selfridges calendar was lancome eye make up remover (50ml!) and yesterday was Lancome Renergié face cream - 15ml, so enough for a month. It's sooooooo lovely smile

(I'm upthread as SantasBlotto, btw - new name, same me! I'm normally Pinot)

envy of the selfridges calanders.... dare I ask how much i need to save up to get one next year?

We had an angel this morning with a wonky halo (so she fits right in in this house).... she's awol atm as I think ds2 was introducing her to the dragon knights upstairs, I'll have to mount a rescue mission later!

bedmonster Tue 04-Dec-12 16:03:18

Krismoose NOOOOO!!! I haven't opened mine yet!!!
Although, I got something different to you yesterday so maybe they're all in different orders?
Last year it was around £70, not sure this year, DP buys mine but haven't asked him this year.

KrisMoose Tue 04-Dec-12 16:48:15

It was £82 <mind boggle> which is what has put me off up until now - but genuinely, it's worth it if you really like and obsess over beauty stuff.

SORRY bedmonster - I assumed you'd open them in the morning. WHO CAN WAIT? I'm bad enough with a chocolate one, let alone a beauty shizzle one! grin

Ouch shock but sounds like it's worth it for what you're getting

<<<starts fundraising for next year>>>

Kirstoll Tue 04-Dec-12 17:27:45

Am going to put £1.70 a week in a beauty calendar pot. That should see me right!!! Gosh I am super-jealous, I didn't know such things existed!! Ooooh can't wait for next year!!!

We got wonky angel too. DS was so thoroughly unimpressed he's pretending she doesn't exist!

KrisMoose Tue 04-Dec-12 17:42:58

Kirstoll grin Sign up for Selfridges Beauty emails to get advance notice of when it launches. They sell out v quick.

KrisMoose Tue 04-Dec-12 17:44:08
KrisMoose Tue 04-Dec-12 17:45:09

end of October it was released this year

twinklesparkles Tue 04-Dec-12 18:12:28

Dh and ds have cadburys ones .. They had a chocolate santa head today ... Again .. For the 3rd time :s

I still haven't got an advent calendar, the boys ones were the last 2 I could find ... Poor mummy

KrisMoose Wed 05-Dec-12 09:56:55
Kirstoll Wed 05-Dec-12 12:01:19

An rubbish at buying things super-quick! Will put dh on the case next September ! Hark at me talking about next Xmas already grin what did u get today??!

peachypips Wed 05-Dec-12 21:36:40

I had a basket and more letters in the playmobil PO. Anyone know what the basket is for? Looking forward to tmrw- it's a big window!!

SnowMuchToBits Thu 06-Dec-12 08:51:01

Forgot to post yesterday, as too much excitement as it was ds's birthday! blush But yesterday I had some holly (1 point) and ds had a trumpet (0 points). In the Playmo calendar we had a falcon knight.

Today's offerings were a bird for me (0 points) and another decoration for ds (0 points). In the Playmo calendar we had a stand for weapons, and an assortment of spears etc.

NagooHoHoHo Thu 06-Dec-12 09:59:21

DS knew. smile

Tikkabillajive Thu 06-Dec-12 12:12:57

Happy birthday SnowMuch's DS! Did he get any Playmobil for his birthday?

Oliver the archaeologist now has panniers for his motorbike, a torch and walkie talkies. smile DS is very excited because he thinks that the fact there are 2 walkie talkies means that the other archaeologist must be arriving tomorrow for Oliver to talk to on them.

Princess Christabelle has a big pouffy skirt and a stool that she can't sit on because her new skirt is too pouffy. hmm

SnowMuchToBits Thu 06-Dec-12 12:56:56

He did get the car and jetski from the harbour theme, tikka, but a lot of his presents this year (he is 12 now) were percussion accessories for his drum kit/xylophone. smile

Tikkabillajive Thu 06-Dec-12 20:34:20

Ah that's great! Hope my two still love it when they are 12. smile

Santy arrived grin

All previous years models were immediately dragged out and introduced

SnowMuchToBits Fri 07-Dec-12 07:57:51

Today I had some more decorations (no points for those), but ds had a Father Christmas. On the correct day! 2 points for him. envy

In the Playmo calendar he had a helmet for the knight. smile

Santa got a desk today, bit of an anticlimax as the door was huge so I think they were hoping for a sleigh or reindeer!

SnowMuchToBits Fri 07-Dec-12 11:59:11

The sleigh is really good when it does arrive. Norm is thinking of getting our sleigh out soon for a festive ride. smile

LadyMargolotta Fri 07-Dec-12 12:00:16

DD1 not so impressed with Lego friends today. Loads of tiny pieces presumably to put into the figures' hair.

Polly pocket was better - a cute little red dress for the doll.

LadyMargolotta Fri 07-Dec-12 12:01:33

I've just gotton all of our festive Playmobil out.

Saint Nicholas and his 'black Piets' have gone back to Spain on their steam boat and several Father Christmases and the Nativity figures have arrived. Ds and I are having a great time.

SnowMuchToBits Fri 07-Dec-12 12:58:53

We will be getting our Christmas stuff out this weekend. Norm is going to put the tree up outside his portakabin again... grin

LadyMargolotta Fri 07-Dec-12 15:32:57

I have just got out the Lego city calender from last year, the one with the naked Santa and it is SO much better then the Lego Friends one.

SnowMuchToBits Sat 08-Dec-12 00:22:51

We had a Lego City calendar a few years back (before we got fixated on the Playmo ones!). Was very good. Ds isn't into Lego so much now though, but still loves his Playmo...

Indith Sat 08-Dec-12 08:44:34

This playmobil one is bit shit next to the Lego one. Every morning ds1 gets something to build then sits there playing for a bit. Dd got a desk yesterday and a chair today. Woop. I'm sure it will be a lovely little playset when it is all done but I think I shall be trying to steer their uncle away from doing this again next year.

LadyMargolotta Sat 08-Dec-12 08:47:00

Yes the Playmobil ones are great when they are completed.

I am having a nightmare trying to assemble the Playmobil gymnasium that Sinterklaas gave my girls. My dh has set me the challenge of assembling it without looking at the instructions - but I can't even assemble it with the instructions!

Indith Sat 08-Dec-12 09:00:34

Playmobil is so bloody fiddly! Fantastic when done but a nightmare to put together. After the tantrums we had alst year I have instructed all family that if they are buying playmobil they have to put it together before they wrap it grin. Dd adores the stuff though. Ds1 the perfectionist engineer architect's grandson geek is a lego fiend but dd loves to be able to grab and imagine without too much of a building process getting in the way.

LadyMargolotta Sat 08-Dec-12 09:06:06

Good idea Indith. I wouldn't have bought the Playmobil gym, because we much prefer the smaller Playmo figures and the cars and campervans. But this gym came from the Sinterklaas who arrived at DH's work.

LadyMargolotta Sat 08-Dec-12 10:37:10

SnowMuch I need you here RIGHT NOW. My fingers are in agony. Those annoying little fiddly bits trying to put up the gym. I just can't do it. It is back in the box until I have recovered enough to have another go. I WILL NOT let it defeat me. There is no way I am going to ask dh for help.

LadyMargolotta Sat 08-Dec-12 10:42:16

I think I might even give myself a sad

SnowMuchToBits Sat 08-Dec-12 10:57:42

Is that the school gymnasium, LadyM? We got that in the summer, and seemed to assemble it ok. But we are having trouble with the stand for the weapons from our Knights Tournament advent calendar - it has some little black clip bits which need inserting into the frame. We have managed to get one in but the other two are being a bit resistant! I used a cloth over the top to get the first one in to avoid injuring my fingers - I don't know whether this would be any help with your gym... hmm

Anyway, I had a rocking horse today (no points) and ds had another decoration (no points). He had some armour for the knight in his Playmo calendar. smile

MonsterBookOfTinsel Sat 08-Dec-12 12:25:24

I've eaten all my Cadburys one this morning, the dc helped blush

LadyMargolotta Sat 08-Dec-12 16:57:29

grin at eating all the advent calender.

SnowMuch - that's why I need your help!

SnowMuchToBits Sun 09-Dec-12 09:49:06

Have you been sick yet Tinsel wink?

LadyM, we still haven't managed to get the bits into the weapon stand! Am considering the use of a hammer.... hmm

Today's offerings were a holly wreath for me (no points) and 1 point for ds, as we counted the Christmas tree depicted on yet another sodding decoration...

In the Playmo calendar we had a horse for the knight, and a lance. smile

MonsterBookOfTinsel Sun 09-Dec-12 12:06:33

Not yet SnowMuch, although I wasn't hungry for hours and hardly ate any proper food, it was a bit like Christmas day grin

LadyMargolotta Mon 10-Dec-12 06:53:18

The Lindt calender is going strong - the chocolates are delicious.

The Polly Pocket one is great - considering it was only 7 euros (5 pounds)- loads of outfits for the doll. Ice skates today.

DD1 got another sliegh in her Lego Friends.

SnowMuchToBits Mon 10-Dec-12 08:57:41

Today I had a stocking (1 point) and ds had a teddy bear (also 1 point). The Playmo calendar had a hood and coat thing for the horse.

I finally managed to insert the little black bits into the weapon stand! (Once I had discovered I was trying to put them in from the wrong side... Oops! blush

PenfoldRocks Mon 10-Dec-12 14:46:03

Oooh SnowMuch - how did you get the bits in? I'm sure I tried both ways round but still can't assemble the stand!

SnowMuchToBits Mon 10-Dec-12 14:52:12

Well, first of all the single piece goes in what appears to be the front of the stand, the other two go in the other side. I positioned the black piece in the hole, then used a folded up tea towel and pressed firmly with my thumbs. The black pieces have to go with the little lip facing upwards too. Hope this helps!

PenfoldRocks Mon 10-Dec-12 18:40:21

Thank you so much SnowMuch. Mr P managed to get the single bit in. I now just need to find the pieces that I threw into the playmobil knights and emergency services box in a huff and try again!

LadyMargolotta Wed 12-Dec-12 09:07:19

Polly pochet got a very nice pair of white cropped trousers. The Lego Friends got a cute dog and dd1 has put a bow in it's hairhmm

And I got my Lindor chocolate with my brew this morning.

SnowMuchToBits Wed 12-Dec-12 14:52:05

Yesterday I had presents and a sleigh (1 point) and ds had a candy cane (2 points). Today I had a tree (no points) and ds had yet another decoration (also no points).

In the Playmo calendar we had a shield yesterday and a jug and two goblets today.

SnowMuchToBits Thu 13-Dec-12 11:25:58

More presents for me today (no points) and a toy soldier for ds (also no points). In the Playmo calendar we had another knight. smile

PenfoldRocks Thu 13-Dec-12 14:06:32

snowmuch - I managed to get the weapons holder together - thank you!
We also (obviously) got the 2nd knight today, which The Boy has been desperate for since 1st December. Now he's not interested in the knight as he wants the shiny armour... sigh
I also have the Imaginext calendar, which I can't believe had an RRP of £34 ish (I got it in the Smyth's sale for £7.99) - and it's nowhere near as good as the Playmo one. They seem to be saving the best bit (motorbike) til last, which doesn't really make sense to me as the very next day we'll be awash with gifts.

NagooHoHoHo Thu 13-Dec-12 14:42:06

grin @ festive weapons holder

We've mainly been getting veg. [nilpoints]

juneybean Thu 13-Dec-12 14:48:21

My Mr men calendar was empty today, I think it was supposed to be magnets, so I'll wait to the end and look to see if they have slipped down.

Indith Thu 13-Dec-12 14:54:49

We had a double day today as we forgot yesterday due to all oversleeping and only having half an hour to get everyone out of the house! So a lego woman and something else I had tuned ds1's chatter out as I was trying to wake up then a teddy and an elf.

SnowMuchToBits Thu 13-Dec-12 15:23:05

shock at empty MrMen calendar! I hope the magnets appear later. Am pleased you got your weapons holder together, Penfold - my ds was quite pleased with the knight.

Teddy bears are always nice in an advent calendar I think. Am a bit hmm at your veg Goo. Although one year I had an advent calendar which contained an unusually large number of birds....

We got an elf today. Left ds2 playing with it abd c asd b aback in to find he'd set the scene up so the elf was pointing a flute at Santa... Had to explain the difference ee between a flute and a gun and that the elf would probably lose his job for shooting Santa

Merry Christmas hmm

SnowMuchToBits Fri 14-Dec-12 08:53:49

Ds had some holly today (1 point) and I had a snowman (1 point). In the Playmo calendar we had a shield and flag for the first knight. The second knight is a bit pissed off that the first knight has armour and weapons and a shield and flag and a horse, while he has nothing! shock The kingy person has had to cheer him up by giving him a goblet of wine... wink

LadyMargolotta Fri 14-Dec-12 12:57:24

The Polly Pocket calender is still impressing me. It's clearly aimed at girls, but so far, only one of the doll's outfits have been pink. The rest are red, green and white.

The Lego Friends calender isn't very exciting - a pink and turquoise chair seat for the dog (the one with the bow in its hair).

Ds was very pleased with the pirate playmobil figure he found in his calender pocket this morning. It's one that glows in the dark smile

PenfoldRocks Fri 14-Dec-12 13:05:24

SnowMuch, me and The Boy are also a bit hmm at the lack of the 2nd knight's armour, specially as it is going to be super-duper shiny. The Boy opened the calendar, looked at the bag, said "I wanted the armour", threw the bag aside and said "Can I open yours Mummy" (not spoiled, honest!)
I asked The Boy what the King had in his goblet and he said without hesitation "Wine". He is 3. blush

SnowMuchToBits Fri 14-Dec-12 13:42:09

Shame I never had any dds, LadyM, the Polly Pocket sounds good!

Your ds will go far, Penfold! wink

SnowMuchToBits Sat 15-Dec-12 14:49:53

Today I had some presents in a wheelbarrow (1 point) and ds had a stocking (1 point). In the Playmo calendar the knight's shiny armour turned up. smile

LadyMargolotta Sun 16-Dec-12 07:43:26

Can you believe it, the children are all eating breakfast, having totally forgotton about the advent calenders!

SnowMuchToBits Sun 16-Dec-12 09:11:48

Mine is still in bed! But he is 12 and we were out at a concert last night, didn't get in until late. smile

PenfoldRocks Sun 16-Dec-12 18:31:39

Hoorah for the shiny armour. Just had to then find the knight, who the cats had helpfully pushed under the sofa. Armour topped off with lovely red feather today. Another walkie talkie in the imaginext calendar (yawn)

I am feeling like bah humbug angry today. Both advent calenders had a 'handbag' - that's fine for 7 euro Polly calender- but that's not what you would expect from a 24 euro Lego calender.

I had another tree (no points) and ds had a snowman decoration (1 point). In the Playmo one we had some horsy armour. smile
