I have mislaid my DN Xmas present - downside of early present buying!
sargesaweyes I was just about to recommend the slippers that Oreo suggested. I have a pair and have bought then for my sister for tho Xmas for £25. As Oreo suggested, I had them on my wishlist and bought when the price temporarily dropped.
waiting Fun Lush Bar
Thanks, i still dont understand it but it looks interesting
Hmm, the Disney DVD Boxset I linked to might only be one disc (got the link from MSE). I'm going to wait until I receive mine but it does say in product info 4 discs.
jewellary set £9.99 4 earrings, and 2 necklaces in a jewellary box
Thanks for the new thread reastie
Thanks to the last two I only have 2 more gifts to buy - MIL and SIL. Am at a loss so looking for inspiration (and bargains of course!)

Waiting - I had a demo of the fun bar from Lush the other week. Its a bit like Play doh but its soap/bubble bath/shampoo. You just crumble a bit in your hand or the bath and add water and it foams up.
Prob is I'm not sure how long it would last before going dry, I think you need to wrap it in clingfilm to prevent this, and/or keep it on a dish/plate with cling film covering.
I am too lazy as I know the DC would just leave it out and it would dry up and I'd be pissed off. so I just spent a fortune on bath bombs instead
I found you not said in a creepy voice at all only 2 people left to buy for
Marking place.
Im looking for cheap lego advent calendar- esp Star wars one!
Ah that wouldnt work at all they all go in to the bath box as we dont have anywhere to leave things covered in the bathroom. off on a hunt for christmassy bath bombs it is then
If its Christmas bath bombs you want you need the soap site previously mentioned. They have Christmas pudding ones. I can't link on my phone but I'm sure mooseymoo will be along shortly to help you out
I love these threads, I'm getting excited about Christmas already. I was going to buy those lush playdoh bars but they would last for one bath in my house and get mushed everywhere. I'll get bath bombs instead or does anyone know what those mr matey bubble baths smell like now. Is it till the original smell from a few years ago? I'm busy planning hampers for Christmas Eve.
Lego advent calendars are part of 3 for 2 on toys at tesco. Think the starwars was 19.99
MooseyMoo Amazon customer services say it's a 4-disc boxset. This is in line with the pictures below the main image, and the product info that says it includes '4 discs'. However, this is at odds with the reviews that appear to be reviewing just one DVD. I'm sure it will be the boxset
.
<dons detective glasses and cape>
everday I think so too, but a few people on MSE thread were cancelling their order. Fingers crossed
Aha, found it...
Pamper Pantry
also Sudz Fun but only soaps
Sorry ^^ for waiting Xmas bath bombs

Fantastic thread.
Am going to do Elf on the Shelf this year but with an alternate elf as I find the proper one odd a bit creepy
Has any seen any nice ones on their travels?
Yip, I'm with you Moosey cancelling now is a bit premature. Can always return if not as advertised by Amazon
.
That's the one Mooseymoo, I ordered some soaps and am delighted with them. Great novelty items

"Wow, so many bargins... thanks for the disney dvd offer!!!
ShoopShoop, I wear one to work with really thick tights and had my other one (tunic) on today with thick tights, long boots and knitwear... I love them too
I got a £10 off a £30 spend voucher on my receipt from the body shop on Friday (valid all of November). I only bought a £4 lip balm so worth a quick spend before the end of Oct if you have a few bits to get for christmas.
Also really pleased with my half price sylvanian families windmill (£25) for a birthday present... definately worth while to keep checking sainsburys as my local one has different sale stock every few days just now."
Campus gifts has a really good clearance sale just now. Cool funky stuff for teens
huffpot What on earth is elf on the shelf? I'm intrigued....
What's the Disney DVD offer?
I have the emu slippers too (a Xmas present a few years ago). They are lovely and hoping for some this year off DH. Thanks for the tip about putting on a wish list. I noticed a few days ago they were quite a bit cheaper. Annoyed that I didn't buy then!
Elf on shelf www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000XR6MBQ/ref=mp_s_a_1?pi=SL75&qid=1351450702&sr=8-1
My American fiend introduced us to it last year. My DD was only just two so hoping it'll be even better this year.
There is a DVD too apparently..
Damn, in my quest for a cheap Twister Dance having failed to find two other toys to buy with it in Tesco's three for two I was thrilled to find it on Asda Direct at sixteen quid. But out of stock.
accessorizequeen I have my own firmly on those (they are lovely) but they have been out of stock since I found them
MaybeAMayBaby my DS is 3 and my youngest is 2 this year so am very very excited about the elf coming to stay.
I'm pretty sure you can print adoptions certificates and all that on line too
That keyring is brilliant...would make a great gift for DP
Am off to order
ancientmarinator Twister is £20.24 in Argos
Marking place - I love this thread
I've just ordered 2 of those key rings but wondering if I should order more as such a good deal!
I did it. Dm/Dmil/godmother will like one as part of gift I'm sure.
for the link
.
Can someone please explain the elf on a shelf to me - I didn't really get the gist of it from the link. Seems like a lot of money for a toy and a book?? What am I missing?
Anyone after books, i got this Michael Morpurgo Set for dd.
Only £16.99 for 16 books for The Book People, it has arrived and is lovely.
Elf on the shelf - Pottery barn - half price shipping to the UK
.
This was posted byAuscreemaAscare on the last thread! I wasn't going to do elf on the shelf but, I do love a bit of Americana, and the nightie is so cute!
This explains elf on the shelf. An american tradition that is moving over here. There are a lot of threads in this topic about it.
I think I will start it next year, DD is only 2 and I think I will just be making work for myself if i do it this year. But I think once they grasp it, it will be wonderful!
I can't wait to do it (my own version anyway) but ds isn't old enough. I copied this explanation. I think you get a book with it aswell??
Every evening parents hide the elf in a different hiding spot for children to find in the morning. Then each morning, kids delightfully run around looking to find where the little elf landed after reporting to Santa at the North Pole the night before.
There is only one rule. Children are not supposed to touch the little elf (though they are allowed to tell him their Christmas secrets).
Each family gets to adopt their own little elf that is sent to them directly from Santa. The elf receives its "Christmas magic" as soon as the new human family gives him their own special name. Then their personal little elf returns year after year to make sure the children are behaving before Christmas arrives and reports back to Santa each evening.
The Elf on the Shelf is not only fun for children to find - but fun for parents to come up with creative places to hide the elf each evening (or at least come up with creative excuses about why the elf hasn't moved if parents forget to move him the night before). The general rule is the elf needs to be "hidden" in plain site so he can keep an eye on the kids to be sure they are behaving.
Parents are also receiving the benefit of better behaving children as they remind them that the elf is watching them and will give Santa a bad report if they act up.
After Christmas arrives the little elf goes back to the North Pole with Santa until the following year.
Bit late there lol sorry x posts
Does anyone know anything about DS games?
I want to buy the new Professor Layton game, but so far can only see it for the 3DS. I only have a regular DS (and won't buy a 3DS because I can't see them. Turns out you need good vision in both eyes otherwise they don't work
).
Anyway what I want to know is will a 3DS game work on my DS. And if not is there a regular DS version of the game. Preferably for the £20 that Amazon has the other on for!
3DS games don't work on a DS, they have a little sticky out bit on the side which means they don't fit in the slot.
You really don't need the book & toy deal, some people make their elves for pennies. and there's loads of ideas and things to down load for free. The gund ones came on amazon on and off last year, I kept checking too, eBay as well until I got one!
oreo - try Game, they sell second hand, or ebay
Oh I just noticed you said the new one. Oops
oreo I don't think it is available on normal DS which I am disappointed about as well.
Argh, but I neeeed it. It has been my christmas present for the last frew years, it's become a tradition!
I really really don't want to have to buy a 3ds - entirely pointless for me as I will only see it in 2d. Does this mean they are phasing out regular versions of games?
Well that's me in a sulk now!
Penguin, while not exactly a bargain, DD was overjoyed with a £10 Claire's voucher last year and got quite a lot with it in the sale. She is 11.
everyday thanks for the digital photo key ring link. I've just ordered 12! That sorts the grandparents, great grandparents and uncles presents from dd.
Maybeamaybaby Disney christmas DVD box set £3 (no delivery charge) link is on Reastie's OP list. Amazon advertises that it is a boxset of 4 DVDs, but some of the pictures and reviews hint at it being one DVD. Still avail to order, and Amazon Customer Services told me on the phone this afternoon that it is 4 DVDs. If anyone is unsure whether to go for it, I should get mine delivered this week and I will post on here precisely what is included and whether I think it's worth the £3.
glad the keyring link went down well
. <takes a bow for finding a good 'un>
did you forget the EXTRA 40% off body shop code? I've just availed myself of that
I made elves for shelves as gifts last year
If you are all on about it again I'm going to put one or two on ebay
.

I found one in stock :-)
Naghoul please do and let me know - I have some friends who would probably be interested :-)
Is anybody else having problems with the WHSmith website? Tried to order those fantastic keyrings but when I click on the 'pay' part (last screen!) it does nothing. Went back to try again and it said that it couldn't register my card this time.
Any clues?
to Reastie for such a great thread - you've saved me loads!
Naghoul's elves are the business
ooh I added one more to my bag and it worked - obviously just a ploy to get me to spend more
Whsmith site wouldn't take my payment for some reason, kept trying and it kept refusing.
Breadandhoney - thank you for the tip, have ordered one of those drum things, and got 5% off with a code from Reastie's first post.
Spent ages choosing another gift, from Joules, only for it to go out of stock and vanish from my basket!
Ebay has lots of elves, or pixies - TKMaxx also has things that can be used as.
Couple more hours on the Literacy Gift Company 10% off (Fallback)
Got 6 key rings!
Thanks all for the elf information. It's a sweet idea definitely, might come up with my own version and save some pennies
WH Smith has just accepted my order for 4 keyrings. Sorry for those having difficulties, perhaps website is getting intermittent peaks in activity.
Fab keyrings, can't seem to get website to accept payment either though
I've just ordered a couple of the keyrings too - many thanks.
I received my Book People order yesterday - the Radio 4 plays are going to go down a storm with MIL I have just discovered the joy of audio books - Although Agatha Raisin is not my style, I am sure MIL will be happy.
I have just ordered 2 keyrings- one for dad and one for father in law. Took a few goes with website playing up but what a bargain! Thanks.
Thanks for re-posting the elf on the shelf link oreocrumbs as I hadn't realised that there was a new thread. You've saved me a job
I think it's excellent that whoever analyses such things was obviously referred back to the Elf thread last year with all of us going gaga then
at the shipping prices
DH still thinks £29 for a pair of pajamas is extortionate a bit much but I need them to go with The Pajama Elves on Christmas Eve!

These threads are amazing! I signed up to zulily ages ago but forgot all about it and now I've bought some gorgeous bits. Christmas is coming, yahooooooo!

FYI if you used the old code (mentioned at top of thread) in a previous order you can use the new code 20MUMSNE15 for 20% off too. I know the last code was an only use once per customer type of code, but now there's a new code that seems to work fine for me
.
to everyone who has posted and especially reastie for starting the thread. Loving all the bargains
tried the keyring link, but out of stock now, never mind!
fantastic thread
Isn't it great?!
My family usually get booze, chocolate/foody stuff and wooly/waterproofs (its cold and wet where a lot of my folks are!). Waitrose had some very nice San Leon (I thing that's the name) prosecco for £6.66 (eeek!) Which is good for 'goody bags' with chocs/tins of bikkies/hestons clementine christmas puds for teachers/postmen etc.
Any other boozy or wooly finds, people?
Also something for a 2 year old girl (no idea what they are into!).
Plus light stuff to be poster to the US. My sis loves books but postage is more than a book. D'oh - Amazon!!!
Thanks OP for the heads up on the Zulily kitchen, I have been after a cheap wooden non-girly kitchen for ages!!

The photo frame key rings are in stock in WH Smith if you don't mind a pink one. =Looks like I'll just have to keep it as no one to give a pink one too=
If you sign up to Hotel Chocolat mailing list they will send you a voucher code for 10% off. Each code is individual though so can't post one here I'm afraid.
Not a bargain, but a gorgeous gift idea for hard to buy fors. The Folio Society has some truly gorgeous books with beautiful illustrations, not just kids books, the handmaids tale, the hobbit, just so stories, animal farm and the origin of the species. I am in love.
Just odered this pop up tent from Zulily for £11.20 using the 20% off code
DN is three and loves his cars and this has a 'road map' inside for him to play on. It folds into a bag that can fit a few cars also it's pop up so nice and portable too.
how does zulily work? does it really only have things for 1 day?
Has anyone tried the photo box voucher? Does it include photo books?

Plus if you have a friend who already shops with them if they send you an 'invite' they get £10 to spend as will you if you refer friends when you join.

Hello all, what a wonderful thread. Just wondered if anyone else is struggling with the molten brown code 'THANKS' the website is crashing when I try to check out with it.
tulip have you used it once already?
Re the Tesco clubcard exchange do you have to pay the full amount in vouchers or can you top up in cash?
tulip27 The Molton Brown website had problems over the weekend, kept crashing. Eventually I got it to work, but it must still be having problems. Think its a website problem rather than a code problem. Maybe try again later.
Angelsus You can top up.
I wonder if kindles would be considered a personal electrical?
Ohthe LOVED the Zulilly pop up tents, but sadly (or maybe a good thing for my credit card) the girls house one was sold out. They are fab though! Very tempted by all the wooden toys on there too but MUST HOLD BACK!
Ohtheconfusion do you want to invite me to Zuilly? Looks like I can't see the tent unless I join!
Would anyone like to invite me to join zulilly too? I've been tempted in...
Anyone else is welcome to give their own link for Zulily, but if you fancy mine
it's at the top of the thread or here
That tim burton set looks amazing and my dd would love it but I see it's a 18, does anyone know which film is an 18 they don't look that bad but I haven't seen them all!
They're
Batman
Batman returns
Charlie and teh chocolate factory
Sweeney Todd
Pewees big adventure
Corps bride
Mars attack
Beetle juice
So mostly look like kids films, are any of them too much for a 13 year old?
ebays toy deals are really good this week inc innotab £67!
sweeney todd includes killing scenes, but they arent hugley graphic and v fake looking but probably why the age is high as there are a lot of them. its a weird film like a musical with the odd dash of murder.Beetle juice i think is or was either a 12 or 15, i love the film but again has spooky parts which some children might be scared by and a few adult references.
rhonda maybe split the pack and keep the more adult ones if your worried.
Just got my ELC order of 2 touchy & feel board books. Were £4 each now 99p with free delivery. Great stocking fillers for little ones.
www.elc.co.uk/on/demandware.store/Sites-ELCENGB-Site/default/mSearch-Show?cgid=5567

DS loves my the family ipad. I'd love to get him one, but not at £329++++! I've seen kid versions of pads but not sure if they are half decent or not!
He likes playing games on then, using some graphics package to make comigs/graphics, using Apps and skyping. Not sure if there's an alternative to apple really.
Any ideas, folks?
Just popped round to Tesco, they are selling Baby Annabel dolls for £11/£12, down from £45.

Whoever linked to the elf on the shelf pjs - you've just made me buy a pair for DD
I couldn't resist . Have bought them in age 3 though (and she's not yet 2) in the logic they may well fall off her a bit this year (we can tuck the legs up!) but should also last her next christmas and possibly the one after too, so really, they were very cheap when you think of it that way
and I'm sure I can sell them on easily afterwards too.
If you order 250 free business cards from vista Print (you have to pay p&p) they lend send you loads of offers for free products. I've ordered a photo mug, photo calendar, and created a t-shirt with a funny slogan on and only paid p&p!
*send not lend! What on earth is going on with my autocorrect today?

www.jellyfingers.co.uk/ linked on phone so not sure if will work.
Mumsnetter recommended this site ages ago on thread 4 and I purchased a couple of bits. Got an email today about various offers at pretty good prices so thought I would repost the address.
Anyone else still struggling with Molton Brown? I was struggling a few days ago to get anything to load, then snuck in with an order that worked, but then it went back to not recognising my MARIE10 code and so I left it a few days and having the same problem now
H&M are doing Xmas aprons for £1.99, reduced from £7.99 (max 2 per person)
New code is 25% off one item 0230
Er a link might help
http://www.hm.com/gb/home-02566-02610
Trying to buy aprons, min spend is £6 and I can't buy 3!
If anyone's doing a big Thorntons online order, add the code VCTT at checkout for free extra box of chocs (259g Premium collection one). Expires 31st Dec 2012.
What with that, cashback & getting £100 worth for £40, I'm starting to feel like I'm robbing them!
Scorpion, you just phone them up to cancel. I rate there customer service and have had great service in the past but they will send you mail trying to entice you to rejoin once you have cancelled, usually with good offers though.
Sorry forgot to add - for Thorntons orders over £40
Tesco have 3 for 2 on toys and discount on some Lego . I got three sets for £20 that full price would have been more like £50 .
There's nothing left in stock in Tesco! All the toys I want are OOS!
Sorry the white company code is for 20 per cent off AND free delivery.
OOOH thank you so much!!!!!! Love those aprons, got the matching T towels to make a package gift for M & MiL
If anyone posts another book people code can they also point me in the direction of a new bookcase?!? I fear I may run out of space soon!
MooseyMoo - thanks for the H&M link, aprons for me and a friend and a scarf to make up the order.
Parrish sign up for an email alert for when they come back in stock. I've done this twice and both times they have had more stock in by the next morning even whilst the 3 for 2 offer was on. Worth a try!
Argos toy exchange. Take your old toys to Argos and they give you a £5 voucher.
of you reastie about the Elf Pajamas. DS is five and beefy substantial so I can't get away with dividing the cost over a few years. That was my excuse to myself for getting the Elf on the Shelf in the first place as I recall...
Have set my sights on this which is bound to last a couple of decades at least, so a snip, really!
Scorpion, where do you enter the Clarks code? I've got all the way to the paypal bit and cannot see where to enter it!
Am I being thick!
John Lewis are doing 25% off the Little Tikes range until 9th Nov. Looks like mostly big outdoor play stuff but we've ordered the wooden kitchen which sold out in the Sainsbury's sale.
Excellent, have ordered aprons and tea towels too!
Still needing pesky men presents. Although FIL has really upset me this week so a lump of coal will do for him.
I want to buy a hamper for DP's granny and uncle, and for his aunt, uncle and cousins. I would make one but they are very much a bough gift is better than a lovingly home made gift family
So who wants to point me in the right direction? No more than £30 each, preferably £20!
How much is postage on H&M? Think I'm being a bit dumb...
Thanks
£3.99
Thanks oreo
Got Gruffalos child for niece who is 19m, a board book for niece who is 13m, happy land jubilee people for dd and Allen school book for ds all for less than £10 at elc
Oreo I got several lovely M&S hampers last year that were either a third off or half price, iirc. If you're interested in that I could do an email search tomorrow to see what sort of date it was (they post when you order, so you wouldn't want to do it just yet!)
Oh yes please MistressIggi, that would be great.
I had a look at the M&S hampers and they are lovely but at full price are too much to pay. With a discount would be excellent!
Fill your own advent calendar from the Disney store.

It's made of really thick cardboard, and the drawers are mega deep, so this ideal if you have more than one child, or you want to put a few items in each day.
It's says £12 online, but I paid £10 in store! Cheeky feckers!
Nice stocking filler idea... They're 3 for 2 in store...

Just ordered DS an octonauts gup X form Amazon-down from £44.99 to £25!
Am happy
DS will be happier!
reastie thanks for starting yet another great thread
Have ordered penguin pillow thingy, only ordered 2 as you could only put two per order. Now need to think whether to get a third the same for ds, or whether to risk it and let him think it is for girls (only 3); or look out for cheap similar one. Oh the dilemas! Going to collect whsmiths order and may be obliged to get sun lego deal at same time, would be rude not to!
Just ordered the H&M aprons
thanks for link x
Sorry if already asked but i am on the look out for innotab deals. Also, does anyone have any opinion on them- are they any good? Thanks x

waiting that looks identical to the pillow pets one I bought for £14.99 from toysrus! (I did get it when 20% off but that's a brilliant price!)
They have also had them in the works but think they are 19.99, they are huge though the ones in the works.
Is it still SAVANNAH for ELC discount? And if so what discount does that give?
just bought 2 penguins couldnt resist (y)
SAVANNAH or BC0912 should still work. May or may not work on sale items (seems to for some and not others). Both give 20% off.
Just a warning about shopto.net - I received their package today and one of the items was badly damaged. It had obviously been opened before being sent out and the box was very tatty. The envelope was perfect though - not a dent so it must have been like that before sending. Going to contact them about a replacement but the website states that I would have to pay p&p myself. Will update with what they say.
Just spoke to them and they were very helpful, going to refund in full and I won't be charged postage - very impressed!
gutted i missed out on the elc gruffalo set would of been great gift but out of stock
I emailed the chocolate people last night and had a very nice reply this morning confirming my cancellation. I feel like I've just used them for personal gain now.
Waiting , my 5 year old ds chose a hugglebuddy unicorn (all white and pink) for his birthday.
Thats fabmistress what an ace son he sounds! we have got Dn the unicorn for christmas it is very soft i almost want one
Tesco had the original pillow pets (bee and unicorn) for £15 when I popped in yesterday. They're massive! I got a few from the Works last year for two of my dc for £4 each.
Thanks Waiting,

silver by mail have a sale on at the moment - not cheap cheap but some nice earrings etc, have bought from them in the past.
Oreo I ordered the M&S hampers on Dec 15th last year - got a £30 one for £15. Hard to imagine waiting till December though, I want it all done before Novemeber!
Are there any Currys or Comet codes about? I have my eye on something electrical for someone and it's quite expensive
Those that did the chocolate tasting, how did you pay? Is it possible to do a bank transfer/ pay over the phone/ online?
Paid by PayPal I think. Dh & i started on them last week!
We've eaten all of them already!
They were very good, wish I could afford £20 a month to keep having them!
I just wanted to say, I ordered from Easyart (recommended on the last thread) (or was it the one before!) about 2 weeks ago. Despatch date was set for yesterday-ish, which seemed a long time to wait but anyway.
I just got an email from them saying that they haven't got any left of the print I really wanted
so I've asked them to cancel the whole order.
They were apologetic but I'm pretty disappointed.
Just be aware that their despatch times are very very slow.
FREE5 gives you £5 off a £35 spend at IWOOT

Chocolate Club:
I paid online- their paperwork seems aimed at postal payment but there is info on the back of the invoice and the website is ok. Customer service is good.
Thanks MistressIggi, I will leave it to a bit nearer the time to see if they drop the prices again. I will still have time to get something even if they don't.
I signed up for zulily but I don't think that anything reffered me through your account reastie

Child Christmas Duvet
I have just come back from tesco.
3 for 2 on all toys. I bought a bob the builder workbench that was half price, a garbage truck and a set of emergency vehicles. £64 worth of toys for £31. I call that a result! The workbench was supposed to be £40 on its own!
Thank you for this thread x
very jealous you got the garbage truck is it the one that moves up and down? ds really wants it and its sold out online and in my local store
my tesco is pretty rubbish
In Tesco Borehamwood they had this Hot Wheels Team Hot Wheels 5 Pack for £3.88 whereas it says £5.96 online.

Dammit, the Disney Boxset I linked to in previous thread has had it's product page changed to say 1 disc. Am really annoyed. Really sorry to all the people who have ordered this
I haven't received my order yet.
No worries moosey - mine hasn't yet been dispatched so I've just cancelled the order. Thanks for letting us know.
Ive just cancelled too after noticing it had changed, naughty amazon.dont worry though moosy still not a bad buy for £3 but dnephew already had this one
My monster high create a dolls for 8.99 turned up yesterday, quite pleased with them for 8.99 dont think id of paid 17.99 for them. sd will like them though.
I cancelled my Disney DVD's yesterday too, we have several nice old school Mickey and crew christmas DVD's so it wasnt worth the risk that it would be utter crap. Tho interestingly a few days ago I went to organise a return for an item purchased from Amazon that cost £2.80 and got a message - sorry you didnt like your item but keep it and we'll arrange your refund - obviously not worth the return postage etc... the item isnt great tho and I wouldnt give it as a gift for the person I had in mind but the school fayre will benefit!!!
Thanks for the Gruffalo sets that is brilliant, I got two for 20mth old's stocking and a first birthday present coming up
Free postage too!!
Have caved and bought the Gruffalo set too seeing as it was free postage. Have been feeling bad that a friend's son hadn't quite got as much as their daughter so that will make it even.
anyone got any good deals on beauty other than L'occinane and molton brown?
Mooseymoo, I am starting to go off you I think! I have loved all the bargains and have spent saved a fortune BUT I was sorely tempted by the dp sale, only saved by the thought that I can't shut my wardrobe door so can't possibly need more clothes, even bargain ones!
I've cancelled too, thanks for letting us know Moosey
I only bought it as it was a bargain anyways!!
Just to say thanks to iloveblue, got a voucher from Into the Blue for my folks with your 20% off, fab!
LOVING this thread, got Playmobil, OK scarves, feeling very confident about Xmas. Now just need to find something good to share myself
Does anyone have any free delivery codes for ELC? Thanks
www.playmobil.co.uk/on/demandware.store/Sites-GB-Site/en_GB/Search-Show?cgid=DISCONTINUED
a few playmobil bargains on the official website.

Free Delivery on ELC was automatic when I ordered half an hour ago
Oh great that Kiwi... Did any of the discount codes work?
Thank you for the Guffalo gift set link. That will be fab in DD's stocking.
Boots sell Happyland toys which are also on the 3 for 2 offer, so could work out cheaper than ELC, plus they have an extra points day this week, different days depending where you live where if you spend £50+ in store you get £12 worth of points
aspiemum ah, you don't mean that
I've only got a few under the christmas tree presents to go and then I'm done so won't be posting as much as I have been.
<hears everybody's credit cards sigh with relief>
Nooooo don't slow down moosey. You've been fab on this thread. It will be a real shame if this thread goes really quiet before Christmas.
Message withdrawn at poster's request.
Not exactly a gift but M&S have the musical christmas tree biscuit tin at half price so £5 instead of £10 this week - just had to be bought!
Also my lovely hand made wooden names arrived from here:www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PERSONALISED-WOODEN-NAME-PLAQUES-CHILDRENS-/120947080253?pt=UK_Children_s_Decor&hash=item1c2901fc3d
really lovely
No don't slow down, I was just jesting with you
I'm nearly finished too, thankfully
doesn't stop me looking though!
this is very cute
Got my paperjamz drums from entertainer, only ordered it on sunday so very impressed. It's much bigger than I'd thought it would be, kind of dwarfs the hex-ant I've bought for his brother
- even though the ant was dearer!
I've just bought the gruffalo from ELC too! My purse is screaming.
I just seem to keep adding to children's piles and adult men are being left well behind. Got so many lovely things from l'occitane and mb.
Don't go Moosey, we need you!
Exactly the same here. DD's pile has just had the Gruffalo added to it (and I bought an extra two sets for her little friends). DH, DDad and DFiL have pretty much nothing in their piles. Sigh....
for all the codes though!! Keep them coming!
Can anyone remember the site fir the discount ugg boots? Think it was 2 threads ago possibly?
have just ordered this for DS2
sooooo cute!!

Thanks for the Gruffalo gift book set. Have ordered 2. Love the top beingginger so cute.
Thanks for the Gruffalo set from me too. Another one ticked off the list.
H&M are doing fantastic Christmas Aprons for £1.99 - see here
Lovely Aprons
Oh wow beingginger my boys are definitely getting those!
to add - I have used code 0230 for a bit more off - not sure what it is exactly - maybe 25% off one item?
Moosey, don't desert us! I bet you can't anyway - this is a bit addictive isn't it
.
Thanks for the tip Allalonenow, I will check out Lakeland too. Iirc there is a £5 code somewhere on one of these threads!
Bombus make gorgeous gifts, personalised map extracts and other things. 15% off till end of today only with code Justbecause15 . I have bought anniversary gifts twice and they are gorgeous
I may have missed it but does anyone have a free delivery code for Hamleys. Found a stocking I want for DS2 but postage is nearly the same as the cost!
since findign Home Bargains on this thread and ordering from them I've been getting their weekly email. Have you seen this weeks? If you're looking for a christmas hamper basket they have some reasonable looking ones for £6.99 or £5.99 and there's a few other good looking offers on there too.
20% off at Paperchase from 31st Oct until 5th Dec, enter red20 at the checkout
Home Bargains has a few decent children's DVDs on the website for £2.99 & £3.99, ordered Lego Clutch Powers for DS1 and Peppa Pig Winter Wonderland for DS2. Agree the baskets look good for hampers.
Not online, but Sainsburys have got 25% off clothing again, includes dressing up clothes and lots of nice winter woolly things, hats, scarves, etc. Till Monday.
Just bought a Christmas DVD from Home Bargains, which has 2 discs: littlest light on the christmas tree and night before christmas (mary englebreit version).
Reduced to £1.49 and 50p for postage so £1.99 in total.
<I will get a christmas DVD bargain!>
Good god! Nearly got stung for delivery charges of almost £14 at zulily. For 2 items! What a total rip off.
EBay have posted a code on Facebook for 10% of toys (excluding p&p), when paying by PayPal. Code is CUKFB220
I need five christmas stockings... trying to find a 3for2 bargin or a really good deal?!? If not I will have nowhere to put all these bargins
Sminko, have another bash at that with Zulilly. Delivery should be £3.95 for the first item and then anything else you buy that day gets free delivery.
Or send a query to their help desk. When I bought stuff from them I was only charged the £3.95.
It was a couple of months ago now, but I can't see them putting the delivery up to that much it is extortionate!
Have bought the gruffalo set - very happy.
What do 6 year old girls like? I need a small present for a little girl I don't know very well!
OhTheConfusion, Home bargains had some nice felt ones for either £2 or £3. I think they only had 2 designs though. I've just had a look at the website and they are not on there, but if you have a local store you should have a look.
They had a few nice christmas bits actually, I got a few bits the other week.
Thanks oreo, I'll have another look just in case as they were lovely items. I'm definitely not paying £14 to have them delivered though. I came so close to pressing "place order" on the final screen- luckily I glanced at down and saw the delivery fee just in time!
Am makin my own stockings this year but think I've done them a tad big now got to fill them. Any ideas on ss aged 8 he's lagging fifty quid behind Ds and sd in presents but I don't know what to get
Ugg deals. I posted the link about them before but I can't remember what or where it was! I probably got the deal from the website I've linked.
All of the deals that are not faded should still be live, but obviously you will have to give them a try!
Also Office has 20% off I posted the code earlier today somewhere up there ^, so have a look there too.
I joined zuilly last night to buy a wooden cake but the delivery charge was £10.95 <faints>
Thank you oreo Although your link sent me to playdough? We do need playdough actually!
Well, the playdoh set is a good one, I picked it up today and it's huuuge! Hang on a tick and I will get you the right link!
Regarding zuilly, it depends in what you order for delivery charge.
I don't know if you could manipulate it by ordering something cheap and then get the most expensive on the free delivery....
M&s have a lovely musical biscuit tin in the shape of a Xmas tree in their half price food offers£5, in store only, I think. They also have. Chocolates for £3.
Sob- delivery still 13.95. So I will leave it for now.
That seems very unfair. I ordered shoes, so they would be cheap to deliver, if you are getting a big toy it must be more. Suddenly the deals don't look so good, considering that Amazon et al offer free delivery and are usually close in price.
Ooh I want musical biscuit tins! A tenner on the website so will haul myself to a store.
Have bought a Chas n Dave Xmas CD for £4 on Amazon
Oh, I bought an M&S musical biscuit tin to make up 3 for 2 last year, it was beautiful but the music was excruciatingly out of tune and awful, I donated it to a raffle.
I wanted a toddler's hoody and a small krooom cardboard castle so 13.95 really extortionate, imo. They look nice but not so nice I want to pay 1/3 more in postage.
Never mind. Plenty more fish in the sea thanks to these excellent threads.
sminko have you tried just ordering one, and separate order for other? As you only pay postage nice per day?
*once
Oreo my 6 year old girl likes any sort of arty crafty stuff, playdough, Hama beads, colouring sets (not babyish ones), also Moshi Monsters, Lego, all sorts of small creature toys (Zoobles etc).
My time to spa order arrived, well part of it. I have one free gift, delivered by courier at 8pm at night!! Do they normally dispatch separately? Seems expensive!
Thanks WhoKnows. I saw some sequin art sets advertised that I thought looked cool - would that be the sort of thing? No idea what they cost though, but I'm sure I can track down a bargain!
Oreo, thanks I had looked on the website and my search returned a box of cadbury selection boxes
. I will do a store search as I can't think of one near me but heres hoping!
Sminto I have never paid more than £4.20 delivery from Zulily, it seems to be pure luck on the items
Waitingforastartofall The stockings I made were huge as well. Pattern didn't look like it would be so big when it was just paper bu they're really deep. I've bought some pirate foam bath from Wilko's to try and fill them a bit. I also stick in some of the chocolate relatives buy
and any cards with money in go in them too.
Thanks, moosey. I did 2 orders and paid 3.95 delivery on first (but was able to use mumsnet20 code) then nothing on second. Not quite as bargainatious as I'd hoped but I like the items and have been looking out for the kroom castle.
Agree with Hama beads. Was babysitting the other day for 5 and 8 year old girls and I was amazed at how absorbing they found them.
Excellent sminko
I would have fainted at £13 postage!
Oreo - yes, that's the sort of thing, just need to check the label as some are more suitable for older children, I was looking at some myself a while ago, in fact might look for one for DD. She was given this for her birthday Paintastics which was a huge hit, I have bought them for several of her friends' birthdays since and they have been well received.
Good plan crafty might buy some matey that should fill half up they are cute though
oreo you're correct, I am addicted to finding bargains. Might need therapy after this thread!

I ordered shoes from zulily a couple of weeks ago. I went to pay through PayPal and the postage was extortionate. I went back looking to see if there was a cheaper postage option but couldn't find it without going to checkout. So I clicked to pay using my debit card and delivery came up as 3.95.
Oreo can you post the play doh link again? Thanks!
Yes, I had a similar problem with Zulily. Went to pay for some books via Paypal and they were going to charge me £10.95 for postage. I emailed them and was told to use my debit card but the deal had finished by that time.
For those who are after craft sets Fred Aldous are doing free postage on orders over £10. They have loads of hama bits, plus lots of sale stuff. I've just noticed they've got Uni-ball scented pens reduced to £1 each which my DS's would love.
Play doh. This was posted earlier on the thread and I bought it for DD. I'm very happy with it. A great starter set and a really good price, was over £30 on Amazon when I bought it.
I've had a look at the sequin art and they are a bit more than I wanted to pay (her baby brother is getting the £2.75 gruffalo book!). The paint by numbers thing looks good, so I might go with that. Off to have a look around Fred Aldous too. Thank you!
.
[sad[ the christmas hamper baskets i mentioned earlier from home bargains are store collection only which is rubbish! I don't live anywhere near one so can't get one
Just wanted to check with anyone with/ that knows an 11yr old girl.. Would nail varnish, nail stickers etc be suitable?
Seen some bits im thinking of on the Fragrance direct website that was linked to earlier.
Can I ask a silly question about hama beads? My 6 year old would love them, but I don't quite get it, once you've ironed the beads do they come off the pegboard so you can reuse it or are they then stuck to the pegboard forever?
They come off and you reuse the pegboard. Ds loves them. However if I were you I'd buy a big tub of ikea ones and a packet of ikea pegboards - soooooo much cheaper.
No you put the paper over them iron the top side side, lift off, flip over, remove board put paper on and iron then you take the paper off and reuse it.
Hope that makes sense.
Bea i have been looking at these beads for dd.
Looks like a good amount of beads and boards and reduced by £5.00
Thank you, thought they must but thought I'd check before buying millions of beads and only a few boards!
My DCs (6 and 8) love Hama beads, I thought it would be a shortlived thing, they've been going strong with them for about 3 years now. I like doing them myself from time to time too. They're a bugger when they get spilled though, especially on hard floors, they roll everywhere. Very good for concentration, pattern recognition and fine motor skills.
pigley my niece is 10 and I got her a cute boxed nail varnish set with bright colours and stickers. She LOVED it! I also got her an inexpensive charm bracelet and a lollipop shaped lip balm from Claires Accessories too which she loved. They have loads of nice things in Claires for that sort of age range like crazy flavoured lip balms and kitsch necklaces etc.
Bea been looking at these as well
DDs are 9 and 6 and they love beads but Whoknows is right, when they get dropped on the wooden floors i just hoover them up!!
For anyone with a Gruffalo fan have a look here
That Argos Hama deals great
Yes i think i may get that one, free delivery on it too. You can pick up boards on ebay, our local independent toy shop sells lots too.
I fancied getting DD Hama beads too... Would you recommend the Argos deal or the Ikea ones?
Hobbycraft do their own brand range of beads which are cheaper than Hama. They don't sell them in the same quantities, so you have to do some maths on the spot, but they are just the same.
Yes, we've got that box from Argos, we just top it up. It doesn't have any grids with it, you need to get them separately. My two have a mixture of the basic grids (squares, circles etc) and the specific, animal shaped ones. I just buy extra bags of beads in any colours we are getting sort of. They also get a new grid and bag of beads each in their Christmas stocking, this year they are getting glow in the dark beads.
We get ours from this website now, as we only want extras not whole kits now. craftmerrily, they have a sister website beadmerrily that has all sorts of patterns and ideas.
Not happy have been patiently waiting for Boots extra points days and the largest thing I want is out of stock but have found it on amazon but not 3 for 2!
The little girl in question is coming over tomorrow so I shall probe a bit and make my decision because there are too many good ideas!
Bargain christmas dvd. Is this bargain enough? £5 for 3 mickey christmas films. Once upon a christmas, twice upon a christmas and mickey's magical christmas.
Basil brush crazy christmas dvd £2 free del at HMV.
Boom boom sorry, couldn't help myself
Has anyone seen any mothercare codes around?
2012 Harrods Christmas Bear was £24.99 now £19.99. However £5.95 postage
www.harrods.com/product/chester-christmas-2012-bear/harrods/000000000002747824?cat1=new-gifts&cat2=new-gifts-bears&icid=L2-redirect-Christmas-ChristmasBear-181012
Wilko do a little sets similar to Hama beads as part of their stocking filler stuff. They are quite sweet and are only £2 each.
Oreo sequin art sets are in home bargains for £3.99 but they aren't showing up online.
Sylvanian regency house now half price on Argos , £59 rather than £100 odd. Sorry can't link.
I'm feeling left out now as I got DD aquabeads. Have I made a mistake?
My DD has an aqua bead set as well as Hama beads and she has had a lot of use out of both. Aqua have the advantage of not needing an iron to stick them together.
Thank you insanity
I will pop down tonight and see if they have some at my local store. Fingers crossed!
A link to the sylvanian families hotel.
Argos also have the toy exchange on which will bring it down to £49.99.
They also have the voucher rewards on so if you spend more than £50 you get a £5 voucher.
So I would do the toy exchange and bring this down to 49.99 and buy something like a roll pf wrapping paper for £1 to take you back over the £50 and get a voucher.
M&S Cava £2.63 a bottle if you buy 12. Ends today.
Here. Includes free delivery. Don't forget to go through quidco for cash back too.
Worth it for stocking up for the festive plonky season.
I've got dd1 sticky mosiacs for her 5th birthday as they get good reviews on Amazon.
Do you think she is a bit young for hama beads?
Also tesco are starting 25% off 6 bottles of wine tomorrow apparently. Wonder if this will work with the voucher exchange on the finest wines?
Worth keeping you eyes peeled.
Argos Imaginext ocean boat half price £24.99
Is imaginext an alternative to playmobil or totally différent?
Spookysal - not at all ds has them and has done for a while and isn't six for another 2 months
Thanks for the boat link. Maybe that's DS sorted! Does anyone have it. It says from 3 but DS is 2.5. Ideas?
They are similar I believe, but I'm not really sure. I know both are very popular and in demand!
marking my place- great idea for a thread
I think 2.5 will be fine. My DD is 2.2 and I would get it for her (if I was still shopping for her).
Sal - my DD has been doing Hama beads since she was about 4.
Thanks! Not sure if i should be giving him a mix of imaginext or playmobil or sticking to one!
Thanks Bea and WhoKnows, that's something else I can add to the list for a Christmas present.
Thinking of getting the beads from Argos. Are there are deals/codes for Argos
Up to 75% off at Ascension ethical living
No code required, might be good for socks and underwear for men's presents, postage £4.95.
Ordered DS(5) some converse-alikes for £6.25
Sorry incorrect link:
www.ascensiononline.com
Thanks for that Imaginext boat one. I have reserved mine to pick up.My Ds got his first Imaginext item when he was 2.5 and he loved it. I think the Imaginext stuff is really fantastic especially for the smaller ones as it's not so fiddly. DS has played with his Imaginext Batcave nonstop all year whereas he is only starting to play with his Playmobil castle that was ruinously expensive.
He says he wants the Imaginext castle but I'll get him the boat instead.
.
Thanks for that poozle. I'm a bit
that the boat doesn't float. I'm pretty sure it will be getting into the bath with DS ...
Brand Alley have a converse sale on. Mainly men's and with limited sizes but I know they're popular so though I'd post it. I use the app so don't have a link
There's some great things on theat ascension website. You have to be lucky with sizes though.
Thankyou very much for the Argos links - I'm humming and harring about the Sylvanian hotel. And wondering if it's compatible with Playmobil...
Ds2 has been eyeing up Sylvanians for a few weeks now. I think he woud like it.
Marks and Spencer have 25% off children's toys, books, puzzles - some lovely things especially for little ones. Just saved £18
Just collected the lego vampyre castle, from argos, was 79:99 reduced to 59.99, took in some old toys for 5 pounds off, got a voucher to spend by end of nov for another 5 pounds. As long as I spend it on something useful like batteries which we will use anyway, it will be the equivalent of 50 pounds - that is what I have told dh!!! Also got the sun for 40p and got a free lego monster pouch picked up from toys r us - but can also get @ whsmiths, for one stocking, not sure if I can bring myself to buy it again for other two dc but offer is on until sunday.
Free p&p with the book people (ends tonight). Enter pumpkin at checkout.
Not sure if this has been posted already today but Disney Store online are doing free delivery for TODAY ONLY using the code REGENTFREE...........saving £4.95 postage. Phew..........was about to order stuff last night but the site was playing up........SO glad it was!
Morning all. I've just been looking on Amazon for Christmas book ideas for DD - to read with her in the run up to Christmas (she's 14 months), and I came across this Lullaby Book with CD. I think it's lovely and would also make a really nice gift too. Quite a good price if you choose free delivery. No reviews yet but it is Usborne and in my experience they are usualy pretty decent books. I'm going to take a punt and order one I think....
.
Gutted! I had another order of facecloths to do and silly iPad wouldn't work on the checkout the other day and now they are back to £4 booooooooo!
15% off at www.findmeagift.com with code earlybird15
You bunch of lushes! The M&S cava is already sold out!
meh! Had an e-mail from WH Smith. They have cancelled my order for the keyrings due to stock availability.
Vtech First Steps Baby Walker "Hello Puppy Calling etc. etc."
Ok Ok, so probably THE most annoying toy, but every household seems to have had one and I know my DD loved it. Here is a great gift bargain at £14.99 half price and free delivery.
Vtech Walker
Thanks for alll the bargainous codes - I am tres organised here in Monahue Towers!
COUPONAPP2 gives you £5 off ebay purchases
Urban thank you thank you for the Disney code I had seen some hulk pjs in store when the kids were with me and wanted to get them for Christmas but when I went to order them online I couldn't justify 4.95 delivery for 12 quid pjs
oreo thanks for the Disney DVD link. This is perfect, I've been debating whether to buy once or twice upon a time so saved me a decision and an extra one with it!! Perfect! Plus free delivery

monahue when i tried this it says coupon already linked to an ebay account so must only be for yourself or one use.

Well my Elemis Time to spa order has arrived. With no free gifts.
So it is going back. The small print says subject to availability, so I'm presuming they have sold out. Only I received an email not an hour ago offering me the same offer again.
Bad form Time to spa.
Will be returning my order.
Anyone found the santa claus box set ( one two and three) any cheaper than amazon or is that my best bet for £8.00. Its going in my christmas eve box
I have another Molton Brown code for you.
GET3 for 3 free travel size tubes worth £24 when you spend £50.
GET5 for 5 free travel size tubes worth £40 when you spend £70.
Not as great as the other codes for getting cheap stuff, but a bargain if you are putting an order in.
Waiting it seems to £8 everywhere I've looked. Might be worth sticking it on your wish list for a couple of weeks to see if it drops. It's available all over so I don't think you will have a problem getting it if you wait a while.
Waiting for a star I just checked my amazon history I bought the box set with 1 2 and 3 for £4.99 on December 3rd last year.
ah thats a good idea ive got an amazon gift voucher but probably should be focusing on presents ! i love those films though.
GET IN!!! 12 bottles of rosa cava from M&S for under £3 each in delivery (£31.50) as opposed to £108
here
Argos Scooby doo hide and seek £14.99 half price.
I luff you Afro
. Just ordered 12 bottles. Will be great as small presents for friends we see over Christmas and I will happily quaff my way through the rest!
Pleased to help! These threads have been brilliant. my crimbo shopping is done now, got some lovely things for my DS he'll be thrilled with and got some great thrifty tips. That wine is such a bargain and tastes lovely, had some last year so we are über chuffed too.
Now I can relax, in under 5 weeks I'm due to give birth, been fixated on getting Christmas sorted so we can enjoy the run up (bleary eyed with a newborn!).
Big thank you Afro - I have ordered my fizz, what a bargain!
Oreo, I only have one free gift so far! An hoping that's not it!
I've got one free gift too, still waiting on scrub and other free gift.
Very strange.
Why do they dispatch separately, and by courier too? Surely not economical. Ah well, I'll give it a week before I chase it up.
For anyone who remembers my saga with the entertainer, they still haven't taken payment back out again! I want to phone them to sort it out but a but worried they'll take it 3 times again!
I got an email from Boots inviting me to order online and would get £12 worth of points when spending £75. Didn't realise it was online as well, did the usual household order (nappies etc) and got £16 worth of points.
8% through Quido too (I remembered to do it!!)
31st Oct and 1st Nov only
.
M&S wine now sold out....
- was contemplating some more
....hic
I will give time to spa another week to see if the free gifts turn up. I didn't realise they posted them seperatley.
Off to home Bargains to see if they have the sequin art in. I will have a scout around and see if there is anything else of note and report back!
Went in the Entertainer today and they have lotsof hama beads and puzzles half price.
In Tesco I picked up half price Halloween outfits for dressing up box. All reduced from £8 down to £1 - £3 each. Picked up clown, skeleton and a witch outfit that could pass as a princess gown (in the dc eyes anyway)
Also picked up a cheap Manadaville for dd1s stocking as a reminder of our trip to the Olympics in the summer.
I also picked up the felt Christmas cards from Mothercare that was recomended on one of the old threads so thanks for that.
Also picked up Pop Up Pirates from The entertainer, think that recomendation also came from these threads so thank you.
Just realised that I said Tesco outfits were half price, they were obv reduced more than that! Shopping has addled my brain.
Home bargains had a poor showing today, lots of empty shelves so I think they must be re stocking.
No sequin art, but did find some bits of playmobil that might be of intrest
Ghost pirates £3.99
Treasure hunters camp £9.99
Clam £6.99
And another thing that was £7 but I can't remember!
Saw those penguin pillows in the flesh too they look good.
I bought a mens nivea set for £4 and a mini football table for BIL for £4.
Had a few mens stocking filler type gifts. Wooden and metal magic puzzles, mini football, golf and snooker, gadget keyrings.
Shoopshoop, Julia Donaldsons 'Stick Man' is a December favourite in our house... he just want to get back to the family tree in time for Christmas [sob].
Oh spooky might try tescos tomorrow then and see if they have any mega cheap Halloween costumes for DD next year/for dressing up
Haha! Just had another courier delivery, of my second free gift from time to spa - just need the item I ordered now not that I can remember what it was
Thanks for Disney free delivery code, just got DD's present from my Mum!
Tesco Kindle and leather case for £63.97, using stackable codes.
Don't forget quidco for CB too.
5% discount on 1st class stamps at superdrug instore, now untill 24th Dec. max of 72 stamps per person per day.
Lego Olivia's House £49.99. Some one asked about discounts for this a while ago. Hope they are still lurking and see this!
Smyths £54.99 then use voucher code 600212 for another £5 off.
Not sure of this will work or not but I had an email from mamas & papas with a link to claim a £5 voucher. So I did and got £5 off a £10 outfit (works on sale items too)
I can forward it on to anyone who'd like it and they can always see if they can claim a voucher also? Just pm me your email address.
Actually there are few lego sets going cheap at Smyths - they are price matching Amazon and you can use that code to get £5 off, so worth checking out if you are still looking out for Lego - or any toys I suppose!
TD-PXTM gives £5 off any order over £40 at tescos direct. Not much but, every little helps
Just found this sweet little christmas mug from Debenhams. With KL32 for 10% off, and store delivery for free.
It comes with tree shaped marshmallows
good for Xmas eve hampers?
Oreo hi there, I've just been looking at John Lewis site (for chocolate for my lovely DIL) but noticed they had a nice country cheese/pickle hamper for £25, maybe more classy than Lakeland.
I know my Dad was always more impressed when I sent him M&S hampers rather than stuff I had just collected myself!
Oh no Moosey they're out of stock - I'm gutted
Sorry
I've only just ordered (hope it still comes through)
I'm sure it will, it was a good spot! I think I might have a look in store hopefully they might still be in stock there
Polly Pocket most is half RRP price, some a bit more, some a bit less but all below RRP at Home Bargains.
www.homebargains.co.uk/search.aspx?searchterms=polly+pocket
My entertainer order finally arrived - two days late - I emailed them yesterday as they phoned me about last Wednesday to say the courier said my address didn't exist (does, I'm sat in it). Heard no more till I emailed yesterday and they got back this morning to say it was in th couriers van and would be delivered by 5.30, which it was, but no one in and the courier left in the recycling bin! The entertainer have been really helpful but their courier is crap.
On the good side, it's the paper jamz drums, I had no idea they were so big! Am well impressed and very very happy. Hooray. They are for dd1 and at 13 all her parcels are small and mega pricey compared to dd2's huge 8 year old pile of massive cheap boxes, so very happy to add volume.
.
Reastie Halloween outfits now half price at M&S with free next day delivery to store. We always buy a couple for dressing up
I've just been on and bought DD some FitByForty! Was coming here to share, quite a few left too.

Allalone now, thank you I will have a wander over to JL and check them out! Will probably order myself lots of delicious things to eat while on the hunt for the perfect hamper
Just tried to get the lego at smyths but they have a hefty delivery of £4.99 unless anyones got a free delivery code too??

Hi there I too had an order come today from the Entertainer. I am very impressed with them. In with the order is a leaflet with some good bargains. They have twister dance for £21.60. Which is a good price, it seems to be one of the popular toys this year and lots of places are out of stock. They also have a box if 150 magic tricks reduced from £20 to £5. Moon sand delights bake shop reduced from £23.00 to £11.50 and loads of other stuff.
I am sorry I don't know how to do links I am just reading the offers from the leaflet in front of me. Might be worth checking this website. I am just going to order twister dance before it sells out.
oreo thaks for the tesco kindle codes, i just bought a kindle and a case for my best friend for £63 savng myself £20
I haven't yet oreo. I would have been really tempted by the tesco offer which is the best I've seen, but I'm still hanging on grimly for the double Argos vouchers deal as I now have £75 on my nectar card again....So free kindle plus money off the mini fridge plus £20 back in Argos vouchers...just wish it would hurry up!!
Oh no, loved the price of those little mugs but they are all gone now.
I've missed the kindle offer--away to search thread for it seeing as I left mine in a hotel last weekend!
Any suggestions on where to get a good deal on a ladies lightweight cotton dressing gown?
Bought several M&S Xmas tree biscuit things (music isn't that bad!) today. Also some cheap moon dough in Sainsburys, but ds1 was with me so had to hand it over
And 25% off clothes is still on - got sleeping bag and cute (and unnecessary) outfit for ds2.
Now hunting a digital photo frame for MIL..
That's a great tip about the Superdrug stamps, never knew that before
Just seen an advert - Argos vouchers offer is on this weekend but not the double ones, £5 with £50 and £10 with £100 spend, so I think I will finally get the kindle!
Also buy one get one free on Christmas drinks in Starbucks until Monday if anyone is out and about
Oh yes they are on now rhonda. Was in argos this afternoon. Clean forgot about it!
Oh ffs kindle is now out of stock for 20 miles.
I'm starting to feel this is not meant to be.
rhondajean I got that offer instore today, 5 pounds off a 50 pound spend, plus I took a small bag of baby toys and got a 5 pound voucher which I used in store as an instant saving. Will use the other 5 pound voucher for batteries or some such 'essential' to justify the cost!
Argh never! Do you have to do it instore to use your nectar points? If you can use them online there is one in a store near me I could collect and post on?
Thanks for the starbucks tip! Have just arranged a coffee with a friend for the monring
3 bunnies - could you use them together?
Just thought it through and probably not..
Just wanted to say a big Thumbs up to the people fromwww.thespicery.com/
Following a post on one of the earlier threads about them I ordered my Dad the monthly gift subscription for xmas. I stupidly ordered the wrong thing!
Fantastic friendly customer service in changing it for me so very easily.
Would recommend them!
I think it has to be in store. I'll keep checking for them coming back into stock and if not mibbe go for a day out on Saturday. The good news is the mini fridges are still reduced
Can't use them together as didn't get the 5 pound one until I had spent over 50 pounds, hence justifying my spend by promising myself that I will look in the clearance I will only spend the fiver on sensible things like batteries, so in my mind saving ten pounds in total, rather than spending 50! Have just realised that if we are at my parents for Christmas they probably won't approve of the monster themed lego (Halloween etc banned at our house when growing up), opps!! Will make dh happier about the spend, he loves things which wind them up!
Just put in an order using PUMPKIN with book people for free delivery at any price. Only til midnight tonight. Now just have one couple to buy for, dh and my mother (though she will only want something small). Then I must cut up my card, oh but no, dd1 + dd2 birthdays in feb, will just have to keep on spending! Oh and can never have enough stocking fillers!
I just ordered a wizards outfit for the dressing up box I'm putting together for a Christmas present from M&S. Thanks for the tip fitbyforty
Also ordered some of the singing rhyme books that were recomended on here (5 little speckled frogs etc) so thank you.
The Halloween decorations are also reduced in M&S and still on a 3 for 2 which is applied at checkout. But I think they are selling out fast. I bought three packs of glow braclets for bonfire night and to stick in the stockings. Also added some new decorations for next Halloween.
ScorpionQueen - I work for Clarks, we have vouchers in the shop with the code on them.
Thanks for the Starbucks tip - I'm meeting a friend for coffee on Friday.
I know they don't pay their share of tax but they are the only coffee shop near me that sell gluten free sandwiches.
I want to order the half price pumpkin outfit from m&s for dd next year but fx it's still in stock tomorrow. They don't give cashback from mobiles!
Pack of 4 christmas mugs half price £20 to £10, Debenhams. Fine China and lovely design.

Not so much of a bargain but a warning...
Apparently comet are looking like they might go into administration as early as this week according to Martin Lewis on the moneysavingexpert site. No guarantees that it will happen but strong likelihood.
So don't buy comet gift vouchers as there's a good chance they will be worth diddly squat.
And I assume that if you have any vouchers lying around, then use them quickly as they often stop taking them if a company goes into administration
Ok, own up guys, whose broken the Argos clearance website with their massive demands? And I wanted to spend my 5 pound gift voucher on a bargain, looks like it's batteries then.
Mamas and Papas have 10% off for the next 4 days including sale items.
Zulily well worth checking out today. Grown up kitchen stuff that looks good plus Le Toy Van farm down to £20.
Great thread!
Lego Vampire Castle now 54.99 on Amazon.
Pumpkin Patch sale on coats and jackets, then use this code for extra 20 per cent off UKPRSC2
Just spotted this Halloween witch costume in tesco reduced to £1, might be another good dressing up buy? Free delivery to local store.
Imaginext Robot Police half price Argos.
Just ordered some Lego Monsters stuff from Amazon, thanks Rosie29
Fisher Price up to 50% off at Argos. They've got the Little People Noah's ark on offer which is very popular.
Have been lurking since the first thread but can't post from my phone and haven't found any amazing deals either, until now. Thank you for the codes and deals that have helped us get free postage from the Red House, money off at ToysRus, etc..
Using the £12 of points off a £75 spend online at Boots offer, which finishes tonight, I have bought the Falcon Knights Playmobil castle for what amounts to £52, once I'd added in another couple of household bits to take it over £75. They have it at 20% off, so the points off on top makes it the best deal I've found. I can't remember which of the threads it was on previously, but suspect this is competitive.
Oasis have 20% off full price items with sparkle20. Accessories section have some nice scarves, smart phone cases, earrings, sparkly knit hats and gloves- some lovely items for teenagers, sil...
They also have a 70% off sale on as well
Anyone else had a problem with there la redoute converse? I've had to send back 2 pairs as they keep sending me a 5.5 instead of a 5! The boxes say 5 but that's not what I get boooo
Oh shame, that Robot police Imaginext is out of stock at my 10 nearest aegos shops. Would have been perfect for DS.
I'm just too damn slow.
Finally joining the thread instead of lurking, and just wanted to say how much I luffs you all
I'm actually getting on with my shopping (Xmas and 3 DCs birthdays in Dec and Jan) rather than panickIng about it!
This though is the gruffalo's bollocks!
Red House have Dear Santa and you can get Just Right at £2.99
I can't get the free delivery to work 131FREE but I think I've used it already.
Waaaah
They're hairy, they're heinus,
Its the gruffalo's penis!
Bugger - I can't spell heinouis/henous/hee-nus!
Love that. Unfortunately dd3 is obsessed with pink & orange and I think would object to that
Arf at the grufallos penis!
<how big?!>
Just had an email gap have their 30% offer mon to fri next week and each day has its own special on top. Monday for example is a further 10% off if you buy 4 or more items.

does anyone know how long the pumpkin patch code is valid for?
just got my gruffalo book from ELC. it's great, but it came by citylink. it must have cost more to post it than i paid!!
Oh beingginger does it look substantial enough to give a friends newborn DS as a congrats gift for him or will I need something else as well?
reastie the gruffalo gift set is lovely. I personally would give it on its own.
i think it's enough, it's 2 books, a little buggy one with a clip and then a bigger book with all the gruffalo pictures and opposites.
I've got it for DH cousins baby and i'm not adding anything else to it
Great, I was close to buying a really sweet pair of dungarees in the Jojo sale as well they were so cheap it seemed silly not to but I stopped myself on the thought that there's not point in spending money when I don't have to, even if it is on something amazingly bargainous!
ELC have Jungle Race for 99p and Farmyard Ride for 99p back in stock. Both reduced from £4. Have bought for my DS 1st bday
Also spotted and bought this the snowman book and CD set at only £2.40 from ELC - it's less than half the price of amazon !
ELC are doing some great book sales just now. I got those board books the other day moosey they are lovely books for 99p each.
Does anyone know if the Not on the High Street code is still going?
Just been to Boots for their Xmas event. I got a voucher so if I spend £50 at their next event (15th/16th) I'll get £5.00 of points on top of the £12 they're already giving.
Any mothercare clothing codes about?
Just spotted [[http://www.elc.co.uk/Digi-Cool-Plus-Camera/131383,default,pd.html this ] digi cool kids digital camera half price to £22.50
try again here
The imaginet ship looks fab. I picked it up today. Sure to make a big impact on Christmas day!
Also, if you're shopping on zulilly and are tempted by the jean patrique cookware, look for his website, where they are all much much cheaper!
Hmm, latrucha I've just read some threads on MSE on Jean Patrique Knives and problems various people have had with delivery etc from them, so be careful on that score, it might be fine, but I feel a bit
after reading the threads (google him and they come up near the top of the search results).
Thanks sparklyvampire for the tip about jolly postman. It was out of stock on Amazon and book people when I looked last week so very happy.
Anyone got any idea when the M&S bargain hampers come out? And the Thorntons ones?
Thanks for the Jolly Christmas Postman tip. Great deal!
It looks totally dodgy all round to me. They charge you £9.99 per item for delivery and charge you 99p for the item. Must think we were bron yesterday
So, and my Time to Spa stuff has arrived - well, some of it - the free gifts have, separately, in large jiffy bags (for a titchy teeny tiny lonely tube, each) - but no sign of the thing I actually paid for. How can they run a business like that?
Marking my place, can't believe I missed Tesco kindle deal
, bet i won't come back in stock until the price goes up.
it I am always in stock!
if you have clubcard vouchers for £50 worth (has to be totally vouchers) you can swop them for a 7inch android tablet and case via the clubcard reward online bit just put tablet in the serch section.

Anyone who bought the disney boxset I have had an email today which says all orders have been cancelled due to a mix up meaning it was only one disc instead of four but some had already been dispatched and can be returned at amazons expense.
gutted i missed the M&S cava offer, had been waiting for it
Fingers crossed for another one soon x
If your looking for wine / champagne for gifts tesco have a great deal on at the minute.
They are doing 25% off 6 bottles. I just got 6 bottles of Oglio which should be £9.99 a bottle but is on their 3 for 12 offer but it seems the 25%is coming off the full price so it cost me just over £12 for all 6 bottles.
That's teachers and nursery gifts sorted
ooo really Lilyloo? that sounds like a good glitch to me! Might have to stock up on some wine. thanks
Did my Boots orders last night, 2 orders over £75, £24 worth of points.
£60 saved on the 3 for 2s as well.

Hi all, anyone got a REDHOUSE free delicery code 113FREE must have expired as won't accept it! thanks in advance
delivery!
I think Tesco has cottoned on to everyone going mad buying up wine and the site has gone all a bit strange.
lizmarshmallow - WRT the la redoute converse trainers, there was a disclaimer on the page that the shoes may be labelled with the wrong size, but you will in fact have been sent the correct size. I imagine that is why they had them on so cheap!
Too ill to shop today, but I seem to be coming round so will no doubt be back for some retail therapy once I have put the little person to bed! I had to miss my starbucks and everything
.
hope you feel better soon oreo.

I noticed that Tesco has the new ipad with approx £40 off at the moment I guess because the new small ipad is due out, has anyone seen any deals elsewhere? DDs have a mountain of books which don't all get read so decided not to get any this year, but Christmas books don't count
just looking to see if there is any other Christmas stuff worth getting
Thanks oreo didn't see that message. I thought I'd tried on the first pair that arrived and they seemed big, I did order the boys but assumed a 38 in boys would be the same as a 38 in girls. The boys were cheaper at the time
What is amazons black friday all about? I have £260 worth of prezzies in my basket, including a kindle, blu ray player and things for the kids, is it worth holding out for the sale?

confusion I braved town shopping today and have decided I'm sticking with here from now on. It's far too busy to get around with a pram.
I can't remember who asked but I ordered a DVD through tesco last week and it appears to have tracked on my quidco account. It still hasn't arrived yet though so I'm trying to chase tesco as it was due Tuesday at the latest.

Thanks again!!
at MistressIggi - I might buy fart putty, rabbit ears and a gangster hat for my MIL!
Home Bargains have Bakugans for 1.99.

Bea,
at broomsticks too! Gotta love Asda.
My ambition is to one day present the toxic woman in my life with some silver-plated nutcrackers and a waterford crystal jar of sourballs.
I used the OCT20 code on The Works last night. I couldn't get the other one to work. They have posted me a link that if you click it gets you 15% off, if the October code isn't working. I get 5% off but I'm not bothered about that because I've already bought what I want!

I bought the iPad 3 from the Apple refurb store - it has the same warranty as a new iPod, new battery and new outer shell, but it was £120 off. It looks shiny and new!
Lots of good reductions on other Apple products too.
Just brought 2 childrens camcorders reduced from £70.00 to £14.99 each through the deal of the day website. Sorry cant do links but what a bargin, they work under water too!!
sorry reduced from £49.99 not £70.00
I have got some Cashmere Baby Presents from Olivier Baby
Bah! You've gone and bought all of ELC's stock of the Jolly Xmas Postman book. I don't blame you all as it was a complete steal but I now need to find another present for the umpteen children aged between about 3 and 6 who I spend about a fiver on. And they've also sold out of the Happyland Sherwood Forest which had been my other way of getting my basket up to £75... although I can wait for that I was getting it for DS's birthday which isn't until May!
One of my Elmis free gifts has turned up, so fingers crossed the second will!
The Gruffalo set came too. Its has been crushed. This happened with my last order from elc too. I get tonnes of stuff delivered and the only company I have problems with are ELC. So now I have to go to a store on monday and complain. Again.
murtette for the umpteen children I buy for like you, I've gone for the personalised face cloths (link in op) which are gorgeous, and made a little package of flannel and either lego/jelly baby/gingerbread man soap/bath bomb for older girls or small bath toy for babies (someone recommended the soap seller in this or previous thread (thanks!) if you search back, or try www.thepamperpantry.co.uk - beautifully wrapped handmade soaps), which I've put in little cellophane parcels tied with ribbon. Works out at between £3-4 per child, but looks more and is personalised.
I've nearly done and saved a fortune, so a big thanks to all those who've taken the time to share codes and offers, it's very appreciated (and heartwarming!)

Ascension ethical clothing & accessories are doing a 75% sale.
Not an awful lot of stock, but some bargains there (amongst others which were just amazingly expensive in the first place IMO!).
No problem choccy I ended up buying strawberry preserve, choc covered coffee beans, Xmas chutney and chipotle chutney. Only one of these is going into hamper
Any news on an ELC code?
oreo - just ring ELC IME they just tell you to keep the damaged item and give you another.
murtette - I think the for £5 on Mr Men books + code for money off and 99p delivery is good.
Punky fish 50% off with PFSALE50 (excludes sale items) can go through Quidco too.
probably not much use to a lot of people but never know, resident evil 6 game for ps3 going for approx £40 in most places is only £24.95 at zavvi with free delivery
arithmeticulous still nothing on ELC. mothercare have 20% off with RNLH when you spend over £15.
I'm guessing ELC will have a new code when E4HD finishes which is 4th Nov. I was sent an individual code for DS (first bday in Nov)
Oreocrumbs - the clarks code was BETERM, it only works on adults shoes and bags though!
Ive just popped into Boots and noticed that all their picture frames and photo albums are half price. I picked up a few of these for parents, grandparents, etc to put DD's recent nursery picture in. Bargain
reastie I ordered a present for myself from Zulily this morning
....one of those lovely satchel bags. I followed your link, so I hope you get something for referring me
Right, I'm not sure how this worked but I bought chocs from the thorntons 5 boxes for £20 deal and then topped the basket up to £25 with 3 of the 3 for £5 blocks of chocolate (but I assume you could buy anything for at least £5 for it to work), used the code WEL7 and the basket was the same as buying the 5 boxes (I paid £20 plus £3.95 postage), so effectively I've just got £5 worth of chocolates free using the WEL7 code, on top of the great 5 boxes for £20 deal. They also have a lovely chocolate advent calendar in the 5 for£20 too - got one for DH
- almost seems too good to be true! But that's a fair few mens gifts sorted.
Ohh thanks shoop - I was admiring those satchel bags this morning!
hmm, no confirmation email yet from thorntons <crosses fingers>
I haven't been on in a while so this may have already been mentioned but hmv have had a good sale on dvd boxsets. I ordered Toy Story 1,2 and 3 for only £12.
Will ring elc, thanks LaTrucha.
And the final piece of the Elemis puzzle has arrived. In a huge box! Oh well I take back the bad things I said. I do however think they are odd to dispatch in such a random way
.
Thanks for the clarks code Goose - but it was Ifancyanewname that wanted it
. I've already donated an arm and a leg to clarks for little people winter boots mores the pitty!
Argh - those Thorntons chocolates are soooo tempting reastie. I know I'll end up eating them before I can give them though......I have absolutely no self control!!
shoopshoop I know! I've lost over 3 stone this year and I don't think buying a huge chocolate order is going help me keep it off! Btw email order confirmation is now though so I have hope it really will be as good a deal as it sounds
reastie are you me?! I've been on a post baby weight loss mission and have lost 44 pounds. I expect to put a fair bit on over Christmas, but chocolate in the house in early November would be bad news for me.....
. Very pleased the code worked for you though - what a bargain!
Sorry for thread hijack!
Right you lot, speak up... who overloaded boot's website last night and made me loose my (pondered over, restocked and pondered again) basket of goodies?!?!
lol.
I shall have to begin again this afternoon at work
shoop you may well be me
I've lost just over 44 lbs now but still have another 20 or so to go to get to pre preg weight . Well done you, it's hard work isn't it?!

Anyone actually managed to order anything on the Tesco voucher exchange?
My vouchers don't work and can't be sorted til Monday grrr
Yep. I got £30 off DD's lego Stables last night.
White Company 20% off and free delivery with code OCD20. I also went via Quidco for 5% cashback but it might not work because it wasn't listed there.
.
I haven't had any vouchers through the post yet from tesco
- I'm not sure if they are just slow with them or they've got lost in the post
If you visit the Tesco clubcard website you can print your vouchers off. That's what I've been doing as I've for some reason not received any by post in ages.
I have doubled my club card points and spent them, it did take a while for the email to come through with the doubled code on though.
thanks for all the codes
Sainsburys have 1/3 off all gifts at the moment including toiletries gift sets, food gift sets and some nice wee kids sets. There is a lego watch for all lego fans reduced from £15 down to £9.99
www.sainsburys.co.uk/groceries/index.jsp?bmUID=1351881529308
Thanks mybestfriends I had the grand total
of £4 waiting for me! But club that together with £1.50 voucher DM gave me I have enough to double up to £10
I have just been to sainsburys and didn't look at gifts. Ds wants a lego watch too I got too distracted by 25% off clothes.
Sainsburys is a good bet just now, at least 25 per cent off toys, and loads in stock in mine, a third off presents, 25 per cent off clothes and 3 for 2 on wrapping and cards.
Not sure if these have been posted but got some Joules codes:
WRAP give £5 off £50
BOW gives £10 off £75
RIBBON gives £20 off £100
Valid until 18th November
mynameis I have had a nightmare in the last 24 hrs with the voucher exchange. I had to clear my cookies to order them, then wait 2 hours last night til the email arrived (fortunately by adding everything to my shopping basket before i oredered the vouchers meant that I could order (some were showing out of stock when It finally arrived) I was midnight before I went to bed but it's done with some good deals.
Then this morning the last lego friends thing I wanted (as a gift from PILto DD's!) came back into stock so had the palaver all over again. I had to delete all the codes I had used yesterday which kept appearing in my basket automatically and put the new code in ( another 2 hours wasted!) Hey ho it was half price and I haven't spent any money.
If you need help and have Facebook the tesco page has people on through the night (someone respond after 10pm last night to me).
Oreo one kindle has come back in stock in my local Argos!! Off to get it and teh minifridge tomorrow with my nectar points andgt my free voucher
patience is a virtue.
Did anyone order the reindeer Hexbugs that someone linked to on one of the earlier threads. I ordered on 20/10, but no delivery yet. If you ordered, have they arrived yet??
Last year I gave lots of my family personalised 'family/his & hers' calendars from gettingpersonal.co.uk, which I think are really cute (especially nice if a new addition/blended family as they have everyone's name on in cute pictures)
15% off with code halloween
Thanks rhonda - just bagsied the last kindle in our local argos! DH sorted then. Does anyone know if I need an adaptor to charge it?
Apologies, 10% not 15%
It doesn't come with a plug front but it does come with a USB cable to plug into a computer to charge, orit will work with an iPhone type charger with the USB point in the front of the plug?
I think we have such a charger that came with a camera... Or will an i-pad one do?
Yes, they fit in a standard USB plug same as for an Ipad.
Yep the iPad one is fine.
I do hope mil likes it now...
my clubcard vouchers only arrived yesterday but im chuffed.
i doubled them all up and was able to use them to get 3 mountain bikes and i only had to put £10 cash towards them.
Not sure this is as much of a bargain as some of the other fab ones but there are some good offers on www.sockshop.co.uk/ - I just bought some Marvel Superhero Socks for DS's stocking for £4.50, found that if you use code SOCKIT then delivery is free!
There are all sorts of novelty socks and stuff on there.
Is there an etra bargainious thing with the Argos kindle except that it is already cheap?
I need men's jogging bottoms, slouching in doors ones. I've looked but tbh I can't inspire myself over jogging bottoms.
On the other hand House of Fraiser have some lovely shoes and sparkly dresses for Christmas parties!easily distracted
thereinmadnesslies I ordered 2 hexbug reindeers and have received them
for you. Though could not work out why I have not received alicemin wonderland from book people oops sent it to old house could you have done similar?
I like those superhero socks, also can also use Topcashback for a bit more dosh.
thereinmadnesslies mine have arrived too but compared to everything else I have ordered they did take a very long time. Hope they turn up soon.
LaTrucha you can get 5 pound voucher if you spend 50 pounds (which you can use at a later date), plus if you take in some old toys (in any condition) you can get another 5 pound voucher which you can use instantly. HTH.
Tesco have wine on 3 for £12, bought 12 and they then were discounted by 25% on each bottle at original price of £10 per bottle ( offer is 25% off 6 bottles) bought online and total at checkout was £48, when delivered was £18. Just ordered 12 more white for delivery tomorrow. Offer ends tomorrow. Available in store too, wine was Ogio merlot there is a Chardonnay too. This is a glitch in the system discussed on mse. Wine would not be worth £10 per bottle but a bargain at £1.50, sorted for Xmas now!
Thanks 3bunnies.
Syvanians on Casabu today up to 45% off.
A nice stocking filler for mums (and me!) great price for Elizabeth Arden 8 hour body cream they also have the hand cream for £4.99
ohhh zulily have some half price smart trikes and scooters today and play dough tomorrow. Shame it isn't this time last year as I spent nearly as much on a second hand smart trike as a couple of the new ones there
Ooo reastie thinking of getting the smart trike through your link, what age would you say the can use them till? Thanks
aspergers when did you order the wine? Afaik Tesco's discovered the glitch later on Thurs so you can't get the deal now. Someone linked the Telegraph article further up thread.
Would be great if it's still working
penguin DD is 20 MO and still uses hers alot - she isn't yet old enough to push the foot bits herself and move herself around without the parent handle (as the handle can come off so it's a trike on it's own if you want when they're older), so I'm imagining she'll be on it for a good couple of years yet, but maybe someone with an older child could offer more help on this. I find it's great when she resists the buggy as she seems to love going places in her trike!
The wine is coming up as sold out anyway
Buffy, was delivered yesterday and more to be delivered tomorrow, it's still working for me.
Just checked wine still I stock for home delivery here but limited to 6 bottles, check local stores, I did read on Mse that it should work on all 3 for £12 deals and that it is a short promotion so tesco are letting it run
Aspergers thanks for that. I'll give it a try!
I believe cheap wine deals are not legal in Scotland, so can't benefit. Pah.
Penguin, ds1 used his smart trike till he got a bike at 3. He still used it as a trike every now and then after that - probably still would if I hadn't wanted space in the cupboard! Will use with ds2 when he's 10 months, if I can find all the bits.
So if I put 6 bottles of Ogio merlot at £9.99 each, but 3 for £12. Then I get 25% of £24. Is that right?
oh I have one to share
Buy any spicebox voucher before 10th Nov and get 20% off with CHRISTMAS20
So a 3 month subscription works out at £15.96.
www.bakerross.co.uk
Free delivery with TY18 on orders over £25 saving £2.99
I've just been to Poundstretchers and they have a selection of cuddle pillows like the penguin at HomeBargains, for £3.99.
There is a pink elephant, a raccoon, a brown bear, a panda, a lion, a hippo, a cat and a dog.
www.poundstretcher.co.uk/ there is a picture of a couple of their homepage.
They have dog and ladybird ones at bp garages for £4.99
Thanks Doris. Still no luck. Direct said that lots of customers have problems online and everything should be back up and running by Monday.
Never tried the voucher exchange before didn't realise it would be such a headache
Are the spiceboxes from the spicery?
yes The Spicery but I just tried to order and the code didn't work, maybe a glitch on the site, or me being stupid.
The Range have stunt scooters reduced from 69.99 to £49 scooter.
Frontpaw Kindle will also charge with a BlackBerry charger FYI
Schike, no better than that we got 25% off the original bottle price of £10 so an additional £2.50 off each bottle so an additional £30 off. In total 12 bottles for £18
any ELC discount or mothercare floating about?
cannot see the 3 for £12
Hi - I have 5 VIP Gap 30% off voucher to give away for November 5-11. Send your email to me via PM and I'll issue invites to the first 5 I get (though I'll reserve one until reastie tells me if she wants one as she has done so much to give us all a very bargainious Christmas).
50% off heyland and whittle on Achica website. I've ordered a load of presents!
Also if I invite you as a friend you'll get £10 off if you order through my link and I do too - win win!
Can anyone find me a good price on a Cool Cardz Design Studio? Boots are out of stock and Amazon have for £15 - sure they were a tenner earlier in the week!
I am sure the entertainer and debenhams had cool card studio for £10, I think it was hello kitty one.
25% off toys and books at M&S on line. Just ordered a few bits to pick up from store free of charge.
@aspergers, have just bought the wine price was £48 at check out, fingers crossed it goes down to £18, I have done click and collect, pick up tomorrow.
Hope so as I have done the same, let me know, my delivery is between 10 and 12am....fingers crossed, mine was done on normal grocery shopping online. I pre pay for delivery so no extra cost
Hiya, I'm looking for deals on the lego star wars millenium falcon, cheapest at the mo is £97 on amazon (£89.99 in tesco but OFS) - typically it was £70+ last week in various places but I've been paid today and there's no sign of a good deal!
oh cobblers - you need to put in a link.
The tesco clubcard exchange - was it always the case that if you want to buy something that costs £39.97 - you could only use £30 worth of vouchers?
I'm sure it wasn't before, but today being the kind and tight boss that I am I went to tesco to buy a new microwave for the staff using my vouchers. I exchanged £20 and got £40 vouchers and then they wouldn't let me buy the microwave because you have to spend over the voucher amount apparently?
Next price microwave was £55 so no chance was I paying that when I had already sacrificed my vouchers, I could have bought one from the cash and carry for £35.
I got it in the end, after creating a fuss in a big queue asking to speak to the manager. He allowed it this once because I was upset. I wasn't I was furious, very dangerous to misread me
. But I'm sure I haven't had this before.
Is it new? And if so - be aware that you have to spend over the voucher amount or make a scene
.
oreo so you have to spend more than the voucher on stuff to get it doubled up? That sounds weird and definitely wasn't the case for me at the last voucher exchange. How annoying
.
Just checking i have 6 bottles of ogio merlot in my basket to collect from tesco tomorrow.
It is saying £24 at check out is that right?
Thanks
Twister Dance £19.79 on Amazon
Baby Annabell Time To Sleep £29.99 reduced to £15.00
Bop It Smash £14.00
Nerf Blaster £29.99 reduced to £14.99
I've checked the online t and CS for tesco exchange and I'm afraid that it does say that's right.
The value of the items must be equal to or exceed the value of the tokens after any discounts.
Does seem a bit rubbish doesn't it.
For anybody with teenagers to buy for, Costco has 4 ten pound vue cinema vouchers for 33 pound.
iTunes offers - 3x£15 at tescos for £35 ( £10 saving) or £5 off £25 at Argos by quoting ITUNES20 (only in store though).
Morrocan hair oil at a bargin stocking filler price HERE
I have just ordered three on my card and three more on DH's as I use it so two for me
and four for gifts as my DM, DSis's and Dbf are always asking about mine!!!
Everybody all GAPed out?
Go through Quidco for your Whittards purchase and you get 15% cashback plus they have a 20% off first purchases with code FIRST20 and £10 off £40 with code GIFTSHOP (expires 11 Nov)? Have just sorted about 8 presents for godparents and the like
Yep I had the Tesco exchange thing a couple of years ago. Had exchange toy vouchers for say £20 and had to spend £20, not £19.99 or £18, either exact or slightly more than the value. I did query it and said I wasn't expecting change but it wasn't allowed.
In case it's not been mentioned if you register on Disney movie rewards there's a free delivery code and free personalisation code for Disney store.
Waitingforastartofall this was posted upthread:
"MooseyMoo Fri 02-Nov-12 13:47:33
still nothing on ELC. mothercare have 20% off with RNLH when you spend over £15"
Just tried it on the Happyland Treehouse and it works. £32 from £40 with free delivery.
Moosey
Boden code for this week: DDPN
Sunday to Thursday 20%
Friday 15%
Saturday 10%
Includes free delivery and returns
Anyone understand pillow pal toys?! I'd like a hello kitty or unicorn one - there was a super cheap link but it was weeks ago. Any help gratefully received!
Oh, and elc code ejda should get 20% off! Haven't tried it yet but it's a code from a magazine... (Gurgle)
One more thing... Anyone have discount codes for the gltc? I'm hankering after the play table but its £200!
Ooh - the elc code does work! Valid for a few weeks I think...
GLTC have 15% off with over a £50 spend with IVY
And MN12 for 15% off any spend
Unfortunately cannot stack the codes. 4% cash back with Quidco
The clubcard thing has been around for a while i.e has to be same or more than voucher value.
However I'm not complaining as I got over £130 of lego friends and Sylvanian Families stuff for £5.95! (some of it is from MIL too!)
Argh, not a gift I know but need a new cot mattress for the baby - had hoped mothercare code would work but it didn't (toys only perhaps?) Hmm, maybe can use topcashback..
Happy shopping today
think I need to lay everything out and see what I've actually got.
Iggi I did that the other day to shock myself into realising just how much stuff I'd bought and stop me buying any more!i've completed mine other than 3 gift sets for male cousins -waiting to see if they're coming down at christmas or not - and that's me done.still collecting skylanders as and when I see them and still want Dear Santa book -any working red house free delivery codes about?
I want to buy my DD a Le Creuset cast iron casserole, the wide shallow one that can go on the stove top. Any discount sites I should know about?
Hiya you can also use code DHQ3 for ELC along with the code EJDA for 20% off - they each work for some things and not for others. I just bought a load of art stuff like paint and paper and DHQ3 worked but not EJDA. I think DHQ3 might only be valid today though...
I can't get the ELC code to work, but all the same stuff I want is in the Mothercare site too, and that card works - except there's a delivery charge so the difference is 95p
Ah - X post. DHQ3 does work - it's 20% off all toys not just ones over £15
Home and bargains had the unicorn pillow pet at 4.99 toomany but they dont have it now they are stocking the penguin snuggs pillow which is the same as pillow pets. I can vouch for the softness as mine turned up yesterday
www.homebargains.co.uk/products/5945-snuggz-penguin-pillow-friend-19.aspx. Amazon do the unicorn one but i think its around £12.
www.elc.co.uk/Playmobil-toys/5551,default,sc.html Half price plus 20% off
Figleaves have 20% off with TWENTY today
Filofax - today only. Flash sale up to 50% off diaries. If you shop through quidco there is 8% cash back plus use DISCOUNT20 for a further 20% off. Some leather filofaxes are down to £25.
mignonete - the best discount on Le Creuset I've found is when Debenhams do a 20% off offer. I don't know if there is one before Christmas. There's usually a code for free delivery about too.., ATM it's SHD1
Anyone any suggestions about how we can get a cheaper robosapian for ds? They are expensive but he wants a robot for Christmas, hasn't wavered in this for months!
John Lewis are price matching on Le Creuset today, so I assume someone else - Debenhams perhaps are having 20% off?
migonete I've seen some nice le creuset stuff in my local tk maxx store too, if you have one near you.
Best places to get moshi monster 3ds, batman 2 3ds and angry birds trilogy 3ds. I have a littlewoods account but no offers on and the batman one is £49!. Very have all 3 at more acceptable prices but i dont really want to open another account. Was hoping to use some kind of money off code...
Also amazon worth checking for Le Creuset. Almost always at the shop 20% price, so a mug that is £11 full price in Debenhams or JL will be £8.80 plus free del.
Can you tell what my bro is getting for Christmas?
p.s. Gap 30% off invites still up for grabs.
Has anyone seen any nice vehicle logo t'shirts? I've checked all my usual (JL, next, debenhams, boden, GAP) and I don't love anything.
Littlewoods is rarely the best place to buy as they hike their prices to cover the interest they pretend they're not charging. They used to be a lot more generous with their discount codes, which made shopping with them worthwhile, but I've not had one in over a year.
Very is the same company, slightly cheaper as they charge more interest and postage unless you collect it.
Waiting I found the cheapest for Moshi Them Park Ltd Ed 3DS was Sainsburys online about a week ago (£27.99 free deliv. vs £32.99 in store and about £34 on Amazon). There is a non Ltd Edn version which is a bit cheaper everywhere. Not sure about the others.
I think ill have to accept that im not going to get discounts, found the batman for about £22 on amazon, moshi your right is 27.99 whoknows and not sure about angry birds its proving difficult. I only shop at littlewoods for the stuff i cant really get anywhere else but like you said they have had no offers at all this year apart from free yankee candle
Oh yes robosapians anyone??
Do I need a filofax?
Does anyone have any tips for getting the classic Disney films on DVD at a decent price? Thanks
i would try amazon bangers , i think the chain supermarkets often do bogof and other offers on disney films too
I just realised that I need a filofax, Arithmeticulous! Thanks for tip-off greggssausageroll.
Does anyone have any codes for mulberry bush.co.uk? There's a few things I'd like to get DD but grudge paying £5 delivery...
It'll change my life
I've looked back and the bargain Christmas hamper from Thorntons last year - £10 off - was ordered on 14 December.
Unfortunately the half price deal of the day M&S christmas hamper was ordered on 19 October - I presume M&S didn't do it this year?
I could kiss you gregssausageroll I had a filofax when I was younger and I loved it. I've treated myself, can be a Christmas present from 6mo DD!
Can anyone help?
Im trying to purchase some offers from The Body Shop but i dont seem to be able to enter more than one promo code
Eg - i have chosen 5 min items and entered the mini discount code but when i go to add the shower gels i cant enter the shower gel code, dont want to do separate transactions as i will be charged delivery for each one
Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?
I've always found you can only use one code with the Body Shop. Even with delivery these deals are good, I did the shower gels last week, £3 plus £2.99 delivery minus £1.20 cashback from Quidco meant they were only £1.60 each.
Just checked Body Shop T&Cs in case, you cannot combine codes.
Ah right, thanks then!
EK11 gives £5 off a £25 spend at Lakeland. Spend over £30 and you get free delivery as well. There are some 3 for 2 offers on chocolates and these cookies in a v nice tin are buy one get one half price.
La Trucha, Zara kids do nice boys tops with motorbikes and trucks usually, I always buy DS (5) long Tshirt there or similar with Pumkim Patch and Gap. No discount to offer you, just a tip.
I am looking for the Topps Mini Wembley stadium and a Lego Sta Wars Millenimu Falcon , both large and expensive items on DS's Xmas list. Any special offers where they are not out of stock?
disney dvds in my basket on Amazon now down from £12 to £8.
Vaseline retro presentation tin with 3 lipsalves half price £6 now £3. (Still £6 in Asda)
www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=274604805
And retro vaseline make up bag half price with hand cream and lip salve now £2.75
www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=274604713
oops...retro vaseline offers only valid until 5 Nov so have to be quick
Carpediem, add the millenium falcon to your wish list on amazon and watch the price. I bought it there a few weeks ago for £89.99 - haven't been checking it lately in case it went down from that!
TK Maxx - for those of us not near a store, FIREWORKS for free delivery, expires at midnight tonight. Just browsing and saw some Calvin Klein make up gift sets
Thanks all for confirming the tesco voucher thingy. I suppose I must have always bought something at the exact value in the past. Ah well - I know for next time!
Have to defrost my freezer this week then am going to exchange the rest for frozen food, as I had initially saved them for toys but thanks to this thread have bought for all of the children already! might be swayed to buy wine instead.
Have had no tinternet since last night so off for a forrage for bargains!
Oh while I remember, you know comet has gone into administration and they are not honoring the gift vouchers anymore. Well Currys are currently running an offer where you get a £10 gift card with certain purchases. I just want to warn any of you that don't know that curry, pc world and comet are all part of the same company. And while currys and pc world are not in administration I would be wary of making orders and or buying gift vouchers for them too, just incase.
.
Home Bargains have a 12 piece Denby dinner set for £24.99. buy online and collect from store. Have just bought some! Was waiting to go to ikea for some new plates after DP managed to break most of our dinner plates, but this is an excellent price!
Sainsburys have 1/3 off their christmas gifts online. They usually do 3 for 2 but are doing 1/3 off instead this year. Much better if you only want one or two things.
Half price dolls mansion £65 at Argos, for anyone still looking for a dolls house!
Play doh Magic swirl ice cream maker £10.65 at sainsburys.
Up to 50% off uggs on the asos site!
Half price gordon ramsey multi blender £22.49 sainsburys.
Millenium falcon down to around 90 I think on amazon
TK Maxx OPI 3 polish set went well with the free delivery code posted above, will team it up with a set of toe dividers from the Poundshop and some foot scrub / lotion for my SIL and brothers new girlfriend... on the final countdown, only three gifts left to buy!!!! The varnish is usually about £10 a bottle (some say £9 some say £12)
sorry, the set of OPI nail varnish is £14.99
This is the Calvin Klein Lip Collection I saw for £14.99. I just don't think the shade would look right on fil (last person to buy for
)
Anyone who purchased the pack of wooden fruit reduced to 99p with a code form kidstoyworld (I think) - have you had your order yet? I placed the order last Monday and haven't had anything saying it's been dispatched (although I realise some places don't do that). Just feeling a bit itchy it's been nearly a week and no news since initial confirmation email.
Just nosing on the TKMAxx clearance and this guess bracelet is quite heavily discounted - a teenage girl would really love that I think.
Another vote here for trying tk maxx for le creuset. Guess that means it might be worth trying home sense too as I think they are in the same group of companies.
(but pretty sure that comet is not in the same group of companies as pc world and currys as suggested below...)
Also if anyone is looking for skylanders, play.com is doing big deals on a Monday. Last week their Monday deals included several skylander characters for £3.50 which I think is amongst the cheapest I've seen them. No guarantee they will have them this Monday but last year things used to pop up several times in the run up to Christmas even if they weren't in every week. Could well be worth signing up for their special offer emails as a reminder to check them out.
.
oreo, Comet and Curry's are not owned by the same people - Comet is owned by OpCapita, and Currys and PCWorld are under the Dixons Group.
Anyone seen any 3ds deals? Not XL version
10% voucher for Joules on myvouchers. com
Thanks for the Play doh Magic swirl ice cream tip off oreo, that's the one thing Dd1 keeps going on about wanting for christmas.
.
Grrr I've already used one of the free delivery codes for the book people, and I want to order something else. It says that the code has been added, but it isn't taking off the delivery charge
48 hr £1 children's book sale at Autumn Publishing (P&P is £2.99):-

LOVING this thread!!
detekthehamster - try 264xmas for the Bookpeople
Thanks to whoever posted about TheSockShop. Just got some great bargains there. If you buy 3 pairs of socks you get 10% off, 6 pairs = 20% off. The free delivery code worked on top of that too
.
I'm finally starting to feel a bit more organised! 15 presents down, 21 more to go...
plates have you ever bought from them, thinking of buying some sets as gifts and love the look of the fairytale sticker books, may as well spend £15 and get free delivery
IME the le creuset stuff in tk maxx is always the stoneware rather than cast iron
There are le creuset outlets, one in Swindon that I know of. May be other mcarthur glen places would have them too? That's the cheapest I've ever seen
There's a Le Creuset outlet at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, it's a while since I've been though, check before travelling.
And a Le Creuset outlet in Bicester Village.
Of anyone sees cheap fuzzy felts anywhere let me know - ds got some great ones years ago from home bargains for about £2 but most seem much more than that - would love to get dd a set as she has got a lot of hand me downs and would like to get her something new! Ds already has zoo , cowboy and pirates set.
Bea I saw some in the pound shop today but obviously can't vouch for the quality.
Sorry about the comet/currys connection! I had always thought they were. Wonder where I got that in my head from
.
Yankee candles are on offer in tesco and can be used with the CC exchange.
Not online but Company magazine is giving away Nails Inc polish with their magazines this month - 4 different shades. The magazine is only £2 whilst the polish alone is normally £11! It comes in a little box but if you take it out of that then there is nothing on the bottle that says where you got it - could be a great stocking filler.
Ooh which pound shop? Pound land? Pound stretchers??-
Thank you for the tip for the Lego Millenium Falcon, aspiemum2 there seems to be several sizes/models so I am quite confused. Waitingforastar, I can't see it at £90? Unfortunately DS is after the larger- £150- one which is around £120 at amazon at present so will put it on my wishlist to monitor the price.
Keep it in your wish list and monitor price I'm sure there was a 60 pound saving now its only 30 so keep a close eye
Mothercare codes - £5 off £50 spend use FL3A & £5 off £25 spend on clothes taken automatically. Can't be stacked.
Wallis have 25 dresses for £25 here
The Tesco wine turned up and got discount. Happy lady
Hamper deal - £50 for an £100 credit with ihampers local.amazon.co.uk/London-wide/B00A0J782O
Yes that's the one, I believe it had dropped back to £89.99 earlier but you must have missed it
keep an eye on it though, it may drop again. Dh assures me it's well worth the money, I reminded him it was for ds not him!
There's lego on Zulily today but no falcon.
Amazon flash deals begin today.
25% off all VTECH at asda on line, including innotab 2. Enter vtech25 at checkout.
Got v excited at that news, Oreo
- but unfortunately the code vtech25 isn't working for me. Is it working for anyone else?
Dixons and Currys are the same Oreo and I think pc world too could it be that?
Where should I go on Amazon to find the flash deals? Sleep deprived.....
Is anyone else having trouble with the new zullily code? I ordered some lego this morning but couldn't get the code to work, ordered anyway as I had a £10 voucher and there was only one of the items left so thought I didn't have time to mess around trying to get the code to work.
Amazon flash deals here
thanks LaTrucha I like the look of the book that'll be on offer at 9am!
Not sure if this has been mentioned already but TK Maxx have got some great bargains on their website - just got my SIL a beautiful leather Osprey purse for £19.99 saving £55 on RRP! They have quite a few here along with other good brands and deals.
I couldn't get zulily code to work yesterday either. Have emailed them to ask - will let you know if I hear back.
Vtech25 not working for me either
Tesco are doing 3 x £15 itunes gift cards for £35 total as opposed to £45.
£1 book sale
http://autumnchildrensbooks.co.uk/category/84-1-childrens-book-sale.aspx
The Osprey purses at TXMaxx look great.
Are there are codes for them? Free delivery would be nice
ooo now they are nice .....
I didn't find a free delivery code sadly but I ordered two (one as spare for me ) so thought the delivery was worth it...!
After lurking here through all the threads and getting lots of ideas, thought I'd post something myself...someone mentioned that Sainsbury have 1/3 off their gift sets - I found this today - www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/home_and_garden/gifts/123057728_guinness_world_records_rubber_band_car_set.html which is only 3.99 instore at the minute, and looks perfect for men that you're stuck for (or is for me anyway!) - you build this little car and then it has everything you need to try and beat the guiness world record for how far it travels. Good for competitive guys who seem to have everything they want and need!
.
Am umming and aahhing about whether to buy this set of 10 Roald Dahl books for £32. There is a code on here somewhere too. Will try and find it
Extra 20% off for that Roald Dahl set at scholastic.
Someone posted above ...."Get an extra 20% off all value packs containing 3 books or more. All you need to do is enter promo code PACK20 at the checkout to receive your discount. "
bluesky is the itunes thing in store or online?
Hexbug nano £2.93 on play.com don't know what colours etc just ordered 6 for DS1's stocking and his friends friends birthday/christmas gifts.
Thanks for tip about boys' tops CarpeDiem. I haven't yet checked Zara.
kateecass - that seems expensive for the Roald Dahl set...
It's usually £16 in The Book People
Unfortunately it's out of stock and they don't think they will be getting it back in before christmas but if you are able to get a different book set now could you give the Roald Dahl one for a birthday?
(we have the Roald Dahl one from the BP, came in a nice strong card case for the books so looked like a proper set. The have had it in for ages, would guess it is one of their best sellers and will be back in, other times they have had that message on a book (or set of books) it means it is usually going to come back into stock... otherwise it just disappears from their listings!
They have lots of others good book sets on there at the moment. The ones that are in their current range are usually as cheap as you'll find anywhere. (they do carry some stuff that is current but not in their main range but prices only tend to be a pound or two off)
We've bought a few box sets if books from the Book People and Red Door. Definately worth a look as you can also get a 'mixed' set of books which work out at about £1 or two each!
M+S have their bug 500g box of sweeties for £4 (usually 10 and more recentky £5) and their big choccy boxed for a fiver! I may need to buy to sample them.
Crayola Glow Explosion Glow Stick Gear these look great fun, reduced to £4.99.
50% off certain items at H&M for 3 days only. Some nice bags and jumpers for teen girls.
50% off these slippers to first 50 customers here if enter code fawkes50. Ends today.
Home Bargains have some good offers on Christmas chocs and selection boxes if you're buying in bulk. Good for stocking fillers or presents for classmates.
Further 20% at Debenhams which works on sale items. You can stack codes, you just type them in once but separate with comma. Just having a browse
Codes: NN79, SHD1 (free delivery)
Free delivery on micro scooters when you spend £30+ with code FFD30 valid until Nov 23rd. I am in no way affiliated but these are brilliant and I highly recommend
Bea it was a poundland I think. They were by the Christmas activity books although think it was just a face fuzzy felt.
Hope you find one in your local store.
Crayola Sketch n Draw reduced from £16 to £8. Using above codes brings price down to £6.40.
Mooseymoo thanks for the Debenhams codes - getting ds a hexbug habitat for £6! Plus the hexbugs linked too earlier on Play.com - brilliant!
I can't link on the phone but amazon have the zhu zhu pets advent calendar for £5.98 down from £29.99 apparently
concur with other comments on Roald Dahl books - I bought the Roald Dahl 15-book box set in sturdy cardboard box for £16 at Red House (affiliated with Book People) 3 months ago. Had a check in Red House and, like the Book People, are out of stock at the moment. I saw children's boxsets in TKMaxx last week (Enid Blyton's St Claire's etc) for v good price (£10 for 6-book St Claire's boxset I think) but I can't remember if they had Roald Dahl - worth a look?

And also I did read this morning that with £12.50 of tesco clubcard vouchers you can get a £25 itunes gift card.

R.E the vtech code more info here. By the looks of it there was a problem with asda. They are listing the deal as expired now, but the comments say when people have phoned asda they have said it should be ok by tomorrow morning. So I think we will have to see what unfolds.
rhonda That is probably what I was thinking of, but with my mind it could be anything! Random bits of information wander in and out at will
.
Am going to bitch about Early Learning Centre now, went to a store to exchange that gruffalo book - not in stock so rang customer services, had the most useless drip who wanted me to complain to city link. Asked to speak to a manager, one will call me back. When? I ask, dunno. Who? I ask, dunno. So I said I want a call back before 12.30 because I was working and busy after that. No call back, so bitched on my business twitter, and got a message saying give us your number and we will ring you. 3 hours later, as I was driving home I have a missed call which might be them, but I don't know because it came up unknown number.
Not happy at all. Does anyone know where you get the phone number that bypasses the customer service centre and goes straoght to spomeone who will take your call?
Thanks for the debenhams codes, saved quite a bit on my order.
Millenium falcon £89.99 at Tesco and if you have enough vouchers you can use them.
If anyone is still looking for a dolls house, Asda have one. Sorry I can't do a link just now but it's called Glamour Mansion Fashion dollhouse and it's £50.

Has anyone received their full time to spa order yet? I still only have the free gifts, although not very free if I've paid £6.50 for them!
Does anyone know the latest Pumpkin Patch codes?
Thanks rhonda, I'll have a look tomorrow, off to a bonfire thing now so it can wait!
Aspie all of my stuff arrived. Although I did get the paid for item first. I think the other stuff came two or three days later, all in seperate packages.
I have just got moshi monster megabloks packet for 99p and moshi charm bracelet for 44p from sainsburys. Stocking filler!
LaTrucha Pumpkin Patch have free delivery for £20+ spend with UKJACKET2 until midnight 7 Nov. They are doing some half price coats plus buy one get one half price on selected jeans but don't think there is a code needed for that.
Has anyone got a discount code for millets or blacks?

ASPNOV12 £12 off a £60 spend online
Thanks Oreo, might have to contact them tomorrow then
Someone else posted UKPRSC2 as code on pumpkin patch. It worked for me a couple of days ago. It gave me 20% off and free delivery. Worked on sale items.
AWimbaWay (& anyone else who's interested), I had a response from Zulily about the code - it's once only. Wish I'd known as I might have saved it for a big shop!
Thanks lazaro!
For today the body shop are doing free delivery and in the outlet section they have 3 shower gels (usually £5 each) for £3 for all 3 with code 343shower, handy for pamper gifts or teacher / nursery staff.

Just ordered shower gels!!!
I got the watermelon ones and the cucumber but had to do two separate orders
Which ones did you go for Jimswifein1964?
Funnily enough, the 3 on the top row!! Although fig was tempting...
Thanks for the body shop bargain, seems a bit too good to be true!
aspie Apparently Time to Spa had a problem with their computer system which is why all items were coming out seperately. If you are missing an item, I would give them a ring.
Thanks for posting MooseyMoo I'm still waiting for the item I ordered to come through but have had the 2 free items.
There are also quite a few different vouchers for Body Shop. Am about to try a few but here is a link to the HUKD vouchers page for Body Shop
Need dart tag speedload 6 - £5 at Amazon & John Lewis. Apparently RRP is £ 14.18.
A good tip for finding bargains is to look at the 'best seller' toys in Amazon & 'movers & shakers'. You can quite often find a heavily discounted toy but prices do change very quickly. If you want to see if the price Amazon are selling for is good its worth checking out Amazon price tracker which will show you recent price movements.
I don't suppose anyone has a code for Joules?
Thanks for Debenhams code, Moosey and whoever pointed to play.com. Got 4 hexbug nanos for £11 free delivery.
Can anyone remember what's worth looking out for on Black Friday? I was thinking dsi or wii games, worth waiting until then?
No problem accessorizequeen
Don't forget Quidco (16%) or Topcashback (18%) for Body Shop.
<scuttles back to Body Shop>
Just a quick warning to those of you order on the tesco voucher exchange. There seem to be quite a few people whose orders have been taken, and are now lost / not dispatched etc I was due to collect on Sat and I'm still no closer to finding out if or when they are goiing to honour the order.
If you do use your vouchers, have a back up plan too!
Ah, good to know Mooseymoo, thanks. Last things on my list are a few 3ds and wii games. Trouble is they add up! Any bargains on new release games to be had?
Quick report back on Body Shop before I log off
I just bought x4 Almond handcreams, already at 50% off on site. Added SPARKLE (Buy 4 items and get 2 cheapest free) for £10. Should have been £40!
Can I ask a Debenhams question?
I'm at the stage where I input my card details. Will I get a chance to enter the codes on the next page?
Yama No, its before that. Click on basket and below your item(s) there is a box with black heading saying 'Do you have a promotion code'

Goneshopping - various Joules offers in the OP.
BUT I have just been trying to use HBL15C2 for 15% off and free delivery -when I first looked last week it was working (but item out of stock) now when I use it the message "you've successfully applied this offer" comes up, but no discount appears! Wonder if it's worth emailing them about it, or will they just say I don't have the right to use the code?
Goneshopping - there was a Joules code upthread. I'm not sure what it was though.
Goneshopping
