Please help me with pressies for little boys and bigger ones

I know nothing about little boys and I am stuck!

I need:

• something for a three year old boy who already has zillions of toys

• some fossil/dinosaur/gem/treasure type things for a six year old boy

• something very cheap indeed for a two year old boy (have already got something but need a 'bit' more

• something for a 50-something man who usually gets whiskey but I need to get something different this year

Depends on your byudget i guess

My DS who is 2.5 has had a tool kit £15 a JCB transporter with trucks on £30. Possibly and etch a sketch? Pack of cars - you can get those fairly cheaply

DS who has just turned 4 has got a remote control spaceship - Toy Story thing which was £30, an etch a sketch - argos £6.66, a cookbook? cook set? some books? comic subscription?

the 6 year old - have you looked at science museum - they do dinosaur kind of things - think you can get them in argos

no idea for the 50 year old - CD, DVD, Book,

3 yr old boy - get him a book. Look at the Usborne website for inspiration, then buy it cheaper on Amazon

Fossil / dinosaur stuff - have you looked at the shops on the Natural History Museum / Science Museum websites?

2 yr old boy - again, a book. Or bath toys. Or a simple, age appropriate toy car / train from somewhere like ELC.

50 yr old man is a toughie. What's your budget?

They will all get a book anyway, as I am the queen of book-related pressies.

Looked on the museum websites but it's biggish expensive stuff when really, lots of little 'bits' would be better.

50-something year old man = up to 20 squid-ish (pound sign not working).

For the six year old you need to find one of those places (National Trust shop is where we go) that sells small boxes of semi-precious stones, shark's teeth, ammonites, etc and make him up a gift box of some of these. DS is six and loves stuff like this.

For the older boy - Hawkins is a good website for stocking filler type tat, and you can search by age/gender etc. It's pretty much 'novelty shop' stuff, but I've found a few gems there in the past. They deliver pretty quickly, too. And it's mainly cheap.

Thanks - but I didn't find anything on Hawkins either. Our local museum used to sell tiny fossils, gems etc but doesn't anymore: that's what I'm after.

Thanks Mrs Mattie - the 1st link is perfect but I don't want really want to buy online.

The 2nd link is v good but yes - a bit too much, as I've already bought a book, some dinosaur toys etc. A posible birthday present though!
