Christmas

can't believe I am asking this = but if you see tie hangers....

... ie like a little coat hanger, but with several rows underneath for hanging ties.. They've been in men's gifts departments FOR EVER when I didn't want one. Thought it would be a useful stocking filler for DS whose ties are scattered all over the house - but can't find one the one year I want one! If you see one in any of the high street shops this year, please let me know... thanks.

Can't you normally buy them in one of those catalogues you always get in a magazine? Those ones with all sorts of oddities in.

I'm sure Ikea usually do them too.

you can normally buy them EVERYWHERE but haven't seen any anywhere now I actually want to buy one! Unlikely to go to IKEA before Christmas, have checked out Tesco, Matalan, BHS, Sainsbury etc etc. Will look in big M&S next time I'm there, tho they are "quality" rather than el cheapo boys stocking filler tie hangers. Thanks all.

We've got a tesco 'home' store near us and they have them in there. I saw them yesterday while buying normal clothes hangers.

thanks, we've a couple of big Tesco nearby, will try there, they didn't have any in our most local store. Still can't quite believe I posted this, but you know when you want something really simple and can't find it, it's really annoying!!!!

I saw one in my local charity shop. Happy to get and post if you want/if it's still there and cheap!

thanks tortoise, but seems I should be able to get one in a larger Tesco. Very kind of you to offer tho.

They definitely have them in M&S, looked at them and realised that DH only owns 1 tie

Hope you find one. If not let me know.

I've been searching on the tesco direct website and can't find them which is really annoying me. I'm guessing from your name you aren't anywhere near Essex? No idea what the postage might be on them but given how cheap they are it'd probably cost a fair proportion of the price!

LOL Cookinmama and thanks!! DH has a tie rack built into the wardrobe. DS only ever had one tie til 6th form and now has several (including a few he's pinched off his Dad) and they are ALL OVER the house. I thought "oh, I'll get one of those tie racks I've seen every year for the last 40+ years ..." and can i find one?! Have a couple of place to look now tho, thanks.
