What about bath bombs? OK so maybe not for the dads?

I get a stock of christmassy ones in every year for small token presents. And I send a gift bag of them up to DDs nursery to share out among the staff.

Could you do something on behalf of the children - photo-gifts, framed artwork? Or something to eat or drink. I feel quite detached from the parents I work for now so won't be getting them anything other than the home-made things I do with the children. I have always (and continue to) put a lot of effort into making Christmas/birthday/Mother's/Father's day cards and gifts for the children's parents but it's mostly without any recognition nowadays. The children like doing them though so that's reason enough for me to continue doing them!! I'm sure the children's efforts are fully recognised!!

Sorry - just having a low-day and feeling unappreciated at the moment . I shall leave the Christmas section now before I make everyone else miserable too!!

Sorry I now realise you were completely meaning gifts for them from the children not from you I did think it was a little generous of you to be giving your mindee's parents gifts!

As a parent I'd be thrilled with simple things. Hand made card?
