Advent calendar fillings

Hi

I'm hoping for some creative inspiration!

My DH and I share an advent calendar that you fill yourself and we take it in turns to open the boxes. I'm now completely out of ideas as to what to put in his boxes!

In the past I've done chocolates (bit dull!), a Christmas poem broken down into verses, a jigsaw photo of our DD.

Any ideas?!
