Boxing Day buffet - what shall we have??

Not massive cheese fans so that's out the question.

I'll probably do a gammon and slices of bread and butter for people to help themselves.

Pork pie from our local butchers. Homemade sausage rolls.

What else???

There will be 6 of us.

Thanks Xmas Smile

Gammon, sausage rolls and pork pie! You must really love pigs (or hate them!)

Chicken legs
Potato salad or jacket spuds
Game pie instead of pork
Quiche

Any vegetarians? Roast veg, hummus. Quiche, veggie sausage rolls

As part of ours last year we had a really yum pate and a nice posh butter (was a sea salted one I think) and then hot toast came out. Couldn't get enough!

If I served Tabouleh to DH's family they'd complain I ruined Christmas.

They still talk about the year I served a starter for Christmas Dinner small minded, ungrateful fuckers

We always have Boxing Day pie.

Homemade with shortcrust pastry (can use jusrol), stuffing in the bottom, then a layer of turkey, then anything else you fancy sticking in.....I did left over cheesy leeks last year and it was yummy.
