What books to get for a 7 year old girl?

DD2(7) doesn't know what she wants for Christmas except a pink barbie car. She is a bookworm so I'd like to get her some more books but I don't know what to get.
She has read/got:
Collection of Roald Dahl
Daisy meadows fairies and animal magic
The tiara club
A large collection of Julia Donaldson
Malory towers
The magic faraway tree collection
My little pony
Harry potter collection
Worst witch
Diary of a wimpy kid and
Some Jacqueline Wilson books
Any suggestions individuals and collections would be very much appreciated.

My 7 year old is a boy but he has been enjoying a series of mystery books by Helen Moss, a sort of modern day Enid Blyton.

Also try the Narnia books.

I second Narnia. DSD loves the Mrs Pepperpot books which are picture books but quite long and with longish passages of text.

Also fact books like Guinness world records, nothing like mind boggling facts about world's tallest woman, biggest donut etc

She's a complete bookworm so good thread, l'll be watching!

Ooh, Borrowers and Railway Children. And we have a brilliant set of history books, prehistory to post ww2. Started with Romans and Victorian at school but she loves the trivia and lifestyle things as extra to that.

How I adored the folk of the faraway tree, I'll look my copy out as sure she'll love it, thank you!

I couldn't think of some of the things that I had read when I was little but you have reminded me.
I am going to get her a mixture of older and newer writers.
More suggestions are welcome, I would love a big range to choose from and give to relatives to buy.

My seven year old adores Enid Blyton, especially Famous Five and the Adventure series (Island of Adventure etc). Other favourites include Indian In The Cupboard and The Demon Headmaster. It can be hard to tempt my daughter to try unfamiliar authors but I find reading to her on long car journeys (captive audience!) often results in her becoming interested in a book she'd previously dismissed.

My DD loved the How to Train Your Dragon series and is now getting really into Mr Gum. Also Secret Kingdom.

Daisy chapter books, by Kes Gray, are on the younger side but my two both adored them in y3 still. Very funny.

I am off to look up the Goth Girl suggestion for my older girl.

The How to train your dragon series is excellent. He main female character, Camicazi is brilliant (sadly she's not in the first book).

DS2 liked David Baddiel's The Person Controller and The Parent Agency a lot.
