Following (I think) Quint's suggestion a couple of years back I bought my DM some merino Ulvang walking socks for Christmas. They went down a storm, she wears them all the time not just in walking boots - but of course now I can't find any more the same sad

So, can anyone recommend lovely soft warm socks for size 3 feet? (The Ulvang were size 34-36, which was absolutely perfect.)

I usually get Smartwool or Icebreaker, both of which do a size 3-5.
Smartwool do 'lifestyle' ones as well as hiking socks, but at this time of year I'm wearing the hiking socks to work.
I have some of the bridgedale merino socks but they're not very wooly - they feel fairly synthetic.

My sister has requested these. I love a sock, me (currently in remarkably good hiking ones from Decathlon).

That's really helpful both - thank-you. I think I might want the yorkshire spinner socks! (I'm not sure I've ever seen my mum in anything but black or otherwise relatively neutral socks so may have to get her more boring ones grin )
