What to get difficult to buy for daughter

She's 15, no particular hobbies (partly due to disability, partly as she's up to her ears in schoolwork).

I'm struggling because the things my generation would have wanted at that age are no longer relevant.

CDs, DVDs, board games (yes I'm old )...

So what the blooming heck do I get her?

She is into - Netflix (vampire diaries, PLL, scream tv series, stranger things), she's not really a film person (that may be my fault I've spoiled her with 80's classics )

And...make up (too much in my opinion! Started with the zoella crap a few years ago she still practices with the tutorials etc it does seem to be the in thing now) problem is I don't know what brands/products she likes (I know nothing don't wear it).

Money not abundant but ok (I save throughout year).

She has a phone (of course she's 15 ) and laptop already (black Friday last year as she needed for school).

She's not really a techy person (I do more on my tech than she does on hers she doesn't even like texting ).

Also already has a Bluetooth speaker thingy (prize from a competition at school). Not a super snazzy one but does what she wants.

So...hit me with ideas please

Oh - have to be able to purchase online, not eBay though (long story).

While I'm at it she's 16 early Feb so I'd like ideas for that too please.

What about a good cleanser toner and moisturiser set if she is into beauty. Liz Earle is nice, have a look for the boots offers.

Day out not an option (I'm agoraphobic). Skincare I've bought her SO many good skincare products she piles on the make up but is a nightmare for not cleaning it off properly!

Some kind of experience with you: sci fi convention? weekend in London to see the site? Paris minibreak? 15 isn't too old for Disneyland on the train. theatre tickets?

If she likes Netflix could you look at getting her an Amazon Fire TV stick? Let's you watch Netflix, Amazon, catch up shows etc.

Zoella does her own line of interior accessories now, maybe something for her bedroom like a nice scented candle?

Tanya Burr (another YouTuber) has her own range of nice, natural cosmetics out too.

Other little ideas: new phone case, cosy PJs, cute stationery for doing her school work, a pretty lamp for her bedroom.

She used to be into zoella gone off/outgrown now.

Fire stick - laptop allows for streaming/catch up would a fire stick make much difference? No tv in her room as she uses the laptop and it's very small room.

The make up/false lashes & nails/brushes/cotton wool etc get bloody everywhere so I'm going to get her a new case and some holder thingies but they're under £10/5

She's a bit of an old soul book wise. Prefers more classical which she mostly already has or gets on kindle app on phone. Brontes, Dickens, Austen, poetry.

Real Techniques brushes? They're made by sisters who are on YouTube so she'll be familiar with them and they're fantastic quality. I have a lot of the range and that's all I really use. I have a lot of other brushes.

You can get them in Boots and I think they have a good Christmas set.

She has a favourite juice so I was thinking a mini fridge for her room as she likes it really cold but... Her room tiny and she's being a pain about keeping it tidy lately (she never used to be).

Make up storage already a planned smaller gift.

No favourite band/comedian at the moment, not a theatre person.

Not a magazine fan.

Trainers - not really a gift as she has a disability and has to get certain kinds then have them altered.

Candles - she does love candles but I'm not keen on spending on something that doesn't last plus she wouldn't appreciate expensive ones. I was thinking nice holders though.

Diary/calendar traditional hogmonay gift here.

Someone recommended the Dr Martens website when I was asking about presents for my dd, they seem to have some very nice stuff though a bit pricey if she's still growing. (DD's feet haven't grown for 2 years, but she's only a size 3, so I'm a bit twitchy about expensive footwear!)
