Place marking as I'm tempted to get one for DS (10). Have seen some very reasonable ones about that he could pop his iPod into, but I'm not sure if they are any good?

Sis in law was talking about some on offer in Tesco for £15 that a colleague had bought - said they were good - but I haven't investigated any further.....

I have a DC who really wants a oculus rift, but they're £££.

I'm not sure if the cheaper brands will satisfy geeks. I think they start at about £60 eg Sony - has anyone got that brand or one in same price bracket? Would love to know if they're any good.

This could be what she was on about, but I'll confirm with her - these are £20

Red5 have two or three models that are compatible with most smartphones (so not limited to iPhone or Android) at around the £20-£25 mark, plus a 10% vouchercode going for orders at the moment

Bumping as I want to know more about these things - I hadn't heard of them before this thread!

Does anybody know if they work with Windows (Nokia Lumia) phone? And are they good for all ages (ie from eight-ish right through to older teens?)

Thank you Smile
