Yes this is lovely. I'm not sure what JL were thinking Sad

But why does she hide that she helps?

That's the only bit that annoyed me kleptronic. Fabulous clever professional woman hiding her talent......except that she's clearly much younger than mr Claus and maybe she's got all the technology lined up to take over when he's past it but doesn't want him to feel past it yet?

I just loved the kids, the look on the boys face when he saw he'd really upset her was so sweet. Useless parents mind you.

Well it struck a chord. My two DC's are bickering all the time at the moment, big, grumpy, nearly teenaged sister and small, annoying brother. But he loves her to bits and I hope she can see it sometime, even if we don't have Mrs C to help.

Wonderful. I live Janet McTeer, and it was directed by King's Speech/Les Mis directoe Tom Hooper, very fancy. JL have really dropped the ball this year - with a few tweaks it's more like a summer ad - but this and the Aldi ones are by far the best of the year.

Love her, even! And director. It's too early and I have a hangover Xmas Grin

I thought it was great! On first glance I did think it was Emma Thompson though, which would've been fab!

I loved it, really reminded me of my dc, best Christmas ad so far Smile

I loved it too. It certainly made me want to have a look at her red dress in M&S next time I'm there. Or I might even go in especially - so the ad worked (except I've just realised everyone will be wearing that red dress).

I thought it was very, very cliche tbh.

Middle class children from the south of England ✔️
Parents who just smile on ✔️
'Surprise' at the end ✔️ (Although it wasn't a surprise it was obvious what was going to happen).

They never, ever chose a northern child or a Welsh one or a Scottish one.

Just saw it. Sooooo much better than the JL one. I'd love to know how Jake knows Mrs Claus can do that though!

How long 'til the threads about how misogynistic it is because she hides her talent and has taken her husbands name.......... Grin

Oh I did like that. I could apply radical feminist theory to pull it apart very easily but I think I will let this one slide.
