The full one's out on Thursday and it's rumoured to have a Bowie song as it's soundtrack, no idea whether it'll be a cover or not. So still a chance there'll be some reedy warbling, although not sure how they'll fit it with something so 'bouncy' Xmas Grin

It is apparently a cover of One Day I'll Fly Away by The Vaults.

That's a relief. Not sure I want a Bowie song slaughtered by breathy wibbliness.

Nothing remotely sad better happen to that dog. No growing old as the wee bouncing girl grows up. I am suspicious of the happy bouncing.

The space hopper gets a puncture, the dog gets inflated and the girl carries on bouncing whilst gripping onto his ears.

Have you noticed there is a second clip today? Yesterday she bounced outdoors, today she bounces indoors... what does tomorrow hold I wonder? Love the dog.

Soup Shock take that back!

If it's the same director who did the snow people buying gloves and the Monty the penguin one, it surely won't be too sad. Plus we need uplifting happy this year. Man on the moon was pants and was it JL who did the depressing 'she's more than a woman' ad?

A teaser for an advert!? Ffs I love Christmas and all the hype but come on!
That Sainsbury's one from a year or so back got me. The one about the soldiers playing football and sharing chocolate.

Why are her parents allowing her bounce on the sofa?! Hmm

OpheIiaBaIIs · 08/11/2016 19:22

I think the bouncing is an attempt to fly, hence the soundtrack. Goodness knows how the dog figures though if I'm right apart from JL using it as a ploy to flog stuffed dog toys

I used to have a boxer, if a kid had been bouncing on the sofa he would have been up there bouncing too, he would never have watched on that calmly!

Maybe that's where it's going nancy little girl goes to bed and boxer copies her bouncing.

A bouncing boxer would be lovely ( although a little slobbery)Grin

Lovely drooly bouncy boxer. I'd watching a whole ad break just of that.

They should have used a spaniel. When mine bounces his ears flap like wings.

Reedy warbling, tick.

Howevs the ad is indeed joyous and upbeat.

I just watched the full version it's much better than the lonely man on the moon. The only thing I'd change would be the overly hammed up "shock" of the family at the end, would have been nicer to end on a scene of the girl bouncing away with the dog or all of them laughing and giving the dog a hug. I think JL think the "punchline" is funnier than it is.

Yay a bouncing Boxer! It has made me cry a little, we lost our lovely boxer a few years ago - the one on the add is so much like him (although better behaved) our boy would have loved a trampoline!!

SoupDragon · 10/11/2016 11:01

so unrealistic.

The foxes would have shat on it.

I liked the bafflement of the family at the end. For me that was far better than a saccharine ending of the girl bouncing.
