I love the feeling you get when you find a perfect gift. This year I'm really excited about a few
For DS I've got him a photo blanket with a picture of him and Daddy next to a tractor and a duvet set with photos of tractors and combines. Also his own strimmer, chainsaw and wheelbarrow (we live on a farm)
For DH I've got him a new aero hat he mentioned months ago but would never ask for because he has a perfectly good one. He will be so surprised. Am also going to get pictures of him doing triathlons to decorate his bike room.
For our groom I've got a big canvas from a dog trial she did and a photo mug of her 3 dogs with coffee and coffee syrup. She cries every year so I always get excited about hers Grin

On the other hand DM has always wanted a pizza oven so I've bought one from NOTHS and I think it's probably going to be one of those never used kitchen items. I'm worried because it's not a built in one she won't like it. Got her a links of London bracelet from the bargain thread which I lived so much I bought myself one but now they're here I'm really not sure so think I've probably got 2 misses Sad

DP I've got a leather bound book of newspaper articles over the years of his team.

DD has wanted a blinking dolphin for most of the year. Blu-blu it's called.

Most of all I'm excited that my little lodger will be born and I can eat copious amounts of cheese and drink wine Wine

Jack Whitehall tickets for Dh; I'm not a fan and normally wander out of the room when he comes on the telly but Dh is and will be thrilled to be seeing him live.

Struggling with my teen DSes though.

I always get most excited about my DC's stockings. From my experience the little things are bigger hits than the big things!

So far my DS (8) will love his Rubix cube, Harry Potter mug (it's heat sensitive and has marauders map on it so when he uses it, writing and footprints appear saying 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'...he's going to love it!) Also got him one of those bookmarks with an e-dictionary. An expensive stocking filler and I think I'm more excited than he will be about it but it will get a lot of use!

For DD (4), I have bought her a Maileg mouse in a box, which she will absolutely adore, and blo pens. I think we're going to get her a My Fairy Garden set too which she will love.

They both also have a cake in mug kit which will either be a stocking filler or in their Christmas Eve hamper. Novelty stuff like that is always a hit!

Have so far bought DH on of the grid it things that was recommended on another thread. He travels a lot with work and it will change his life!

DD (2.9) is mad about In The Night Garden, does the dances, sings along when it comes on, takes off her T-shirt to use as an 'Iggle Piggle blanket' etc. So I've made her a super soft red blanket with blue blanket stitch edging, just like Iggle Piggle's. Also managed to find an Upsy Daisy costume (making one was beyond my skills) so that's her sorted!

Not so excited about giving it, but feeling smug that I've managed to find something appropriate for my mum's hard-to-buy-for DP. Found a Photographic History of the Isle of Man TT, he'll love it, really into bikes and used to go to that every year.

I'm very excited by my purchase today of a tea advent calendar for Dh. The children and I have advent calendars, so I hope he'll be chuffed to have one too!

Also very excited to give dd Robert (giant pink soft toy unicorn) - I think she will love him!

Dd is getting an old fashioned silver cross pram - I think she'll love it but also, i love it!

Ds is getting a LOT of Lego and a games console which he thinks we can't afford. He's turning 10 and I think it'll really make Christmas for him.

The gifts I'm most excited to give only cost £3 each but hoping they'll go down well. My parents had a huge print on the lounge wall throughout our childhood, which we all remember fondly. I've found fridge magnets of it, so we can all have a little bit of home in our own houses.

I'm excited to give DH an Avengers themed blanket that I'm making assuming I finish it before it drives me nuts
I've been telling him since he mentioned it months ago that it's too hard and I can't make it as I'm a beginner. He's going to be so pleased!

Have also made a hat for my dad who is going to love it as he likes homemade, unique things.

For my mum I've tracked down a rare collectible ornament to go with her collection. I'm especially proud as it's one she's been looking for but couldn't find
Xmas Smile

Imperial they have those HP mugs in Lakeland.

My 9yo has the HP Marauders Map mug. She uses it daily.

I'm most excited about my mum's gift. We walked past a closed charity shop months ago and they had her granny's tea set and dinner service in the window. My Mum had inherited the same set years ago but it smashed when a cupboard fell off her kitchen wall. She was devastated.

I bought it for her the next day. I've waited a long time!
