Know anything about the Zoomer Chimp?

My son has done a u-turn on hatchimal and has now fallen in love with this Zoomer chimp thing he's seen advertised (curses nickelodeon!).

Anyone know what this Chimp is like?

Reviews on you tube seem to just detail functionality and excitement that it 'does stuff', rather than likeability beyond the novelty, so I'm a bit stuck!

Anyone got a sense of how they might be to play with when Christmas is done and dusted? I can't help noticing that the chimp doesn't do much/any interactive stuff, it responds to commands and throws itself around, but nothing where you get feedback for cuddling / stroking/ or even holding hands. I'm not sure how that would effect the fun for a 6 yr old? It certainly makes me feel bored!

It seems to be quite new and can't find any 'warts and all' reviews or feedback.

Thanks!

I don't know about the chimp other than it's around £120, but the zoomer Dino is £35 in home bargains if he could be swayed quite a big saving.

It's ridiculously expensive.

I was already boggling at the hatchimal cost and now that looks like the reasonable option.

i hate that chimp!

Hi, just to let you know op that the chimp is reduced to £89.99 in Smyths, in case you are still considering it. Smile

I bought it whilst it was still reduced.

Bah humbug!

Thinking being if DS remains in complete love with this (hideous plastic monstrosity) chimp, I'll be cursing if I buy it closer to Xmas and miss the deals.

It came very quickly (bought it online), and it's a bit smaller than if thought, which is good!

It looks nice in the packaging but it's all enclosed with see through plastic, and doesn't have any 'try me' type button or function, which is a shame as I'd like to see it in action now.

I also need to work out if it comes charged to avoid a very disappointing Xmas day morning...

(Now I have a Hatchimal as well so not sure what to do with that. Maybe save for DS birthday in early spring?)
