Dd (6) has just announced she wants a hatchimal. I googled. I am not paying £80 for a glorified furby. Am I missing something?

It hatches out of its own egg?
But you'd be lucky to get one for £60 now. Everywhere is out of stock and they are currently going for £75+ on eBay, which I expect will only increase the closer we get to Christmas.

Oh sorry I see you put £80. They are meant to be £59.99, Tesco's are selling them for £56.

Do they just hatch out of the egg though? Is that all they do? I think she just spotted it on an ad at her friend's (we don't have live TV, so miss all the ads!) so I'm not sure she knows what it really is or does I definitely don't. I'll check out tesco though, thanks.
