I bought a bag of celebrations last night. I thought they'd go in the christmas food cupboard...until I opened them and ate virtually the whole bag some Blush

I'm not sure those Lebkutchen will be any good, you'd better consumer test them. Smile

I bought some chocolate covered Stollen in Aldi last week...but they've been eaten already Blush (as are the Florentines)
I'd better get a lock box and give the key to someone to mind for me!

I daren't, they will be gone. I am planning a few extra bits each week, not to be opened until December 1st!
Lidl had a few really nice bits in, big panettone and mulled wine which Looked nice.
I refuse t buy the big roses or quality street this year, because they are smaller every year and just get eaten in October

I'm not sure if stollen is in yet because I don't like it so I didn't look for it but they definitely had a mountain of panettone and were also unpacking a delivery of chocolate santas and other bits. I'd imagine once their hallowe'en promotion is finished next week they'll get the Christmas things in properly

I bought some chocolate coated Marzipans today, DD asked if we'll be eating them and buying more like MIL does :)

I can confirm that the mini stollen is now in stock in Lidl (minus 3 packs 😳)

Stollen is in both Aldi and Lidl now. I've been really good, and not eaten any yet but I must say I was tempted by the chocolate covered one...

I didn't see florentines, I'll have to keep an eye out because once the one near me sold out last year, they didn't restock Hmm

I found some I'd bought and forgotten about when I was clearing the garage in February. They were still yummy Blush xx

I half thought of buying the Baileys type stuff out of Lidls last week, but I know it wouldn't last the week. It's bloody lovely?

I'm hoping Lidl have the freeze dried sour cherries in dark chocolate. I had to fight DS for them last year. Little sour balls of heaven

I didn't really like the chocolate covered stollen didn't stop me finishing it I think it took away from the flavour.

I bought stollen last week and 2 boxes of florentines today.1 box unfortunately not made it into christmas goodies box down the cellar! I hadnt tried them before now not sure they are a good idea. Far too moreish!
I have quite a nice stash already. Hubby puts them down cellar as i am scared of spiders and will only venture down in the event of an emergency (i.e. desperately in need of comfort food type of emergency!

I've only got some chocolates from M&S and some chocolates coins, and they'll be safe. They're supposed to be for advent calendars, stashed away around the kitchen. But my big box of lebkuchen and stollen etc will be assembled in Germany next week, were visiting for the half term, and then brought over by some rellies two weeks later by car as we're flying. Yay I can't wait though i may find an excuse for a trip to lidl anyway! Chocolate covered stollen really does not appeal but the mini bites are to die for, they don't survive long if I open a pack. But I resisted from buying them so far!

I've had a large tub of Celebrations (Tesco £5) and a half price tin of M&S Christmas chocolate biscuits so far. Had to replace biscuits once (tea emergency). Everything now hidden away to avoid temptation.

What would be good chocolate advent calendar to get? The Lindt chocolate bear is £12, but is it worth it? And is it too early to buy one?
