Xmas Grin

I'm going to book that course when my quidco cash back pays out I've decided. It'll be a nice thing for me to do. I don't get out much doing things just for me. I'm off to look at dates

Now I realise they are weekday mornings. Huff. I'll go back to the drawing board as its got to be a weekend. Oh well.

Yay! Countdown!

I have to decide what Christmas cards I'm going to make this year (I only make around 10!).

And what gifts need sewing! Mostly ragdolls and finger puppets this year!

I've got all of my stockings bits now. I had a crazy evening on eBay buying cheap odds and sods like stickers, mini pencils, festive mini jigsaws etc.

This year should be ace in our house. DD and DS are 3 and 2, so should be quite into it. I can't wait!

Helloooo!

I went a bit crazy on the Amazon four books for a tenner thing they have on selected kids' books - some for Xmas, some for Hallowe'en and a couple for spares for last-minute party invitations. Feeling very organised.

For those on Pinterest, that's where I keep track of gifts for the DC - and I do it every year now so I can look back and remind myself what they got previously.

I've never booked Santa's grotto - we have a few round here and they don't need booking in advance. My favourite one must hardly be known about as there is hardly ever anyone there, so we get ages with Santa. I must admit I traipse the kids round a few Santa grottos. I say most are stand-ins as Santa is so busy but one may be the real deal! Xmas Grin

I am thinking of doing an Xmas trip abroad next Xmas, somewhere with snow and Santa - will be wasted on baby DD this year, but by next year I think she'll be a nice age for it, and hopefully DS (who will then be seven) will still believe.

Ahh The Twitch NAYAIW

You do your lists, plan everything and wrap it....................................
then you notice than one pile looks smaller, less impressive than the other. So you have to buy something , not too ££ , not a waste of money but about ^so big >

Oooh I must join! My DS was born this year so I finally have a baby for Christmas!! Must remind myself, a child is for life not just for Christmas....Wink

I need to reign it in though as I'm on maternity leave and will be on zero income by Christmas.

SideOrderofChip · 03/09/2016 09:53

Go for it mrsdiligaf !!

I've done it once for my dad and once for DH. I think it makes a lovely addition to either a hamper or as a stocking filler :)
