What did you get your 9 year old that has been good? Looking for ideas. Thanks!

Last Christmas...
BMX, has been played with most days.
PS4 games.
Books.
Magazine subscription.
He also had his own sheep, he's always loved this breed and was so shocked on Christmas morning when he saw them.

Thank you. He's on about getting an xbox but we already have a PlayStation and a wii! He got a bike last Christmas.

I think toys are on the way out. Everything here just sits in boxes.

My ds enjoyed zoobs at that age (he's 11Now and still plays with them occasionally).

Lego, Alex rider audio books, manga drawing books, pens and paper, whittling stuff.

A digital watch, heely trainers.

All went down well in our house.

Football kit, sport stuff, light up globe, battleships game (we got the star wars version, but there's the original or other themed ones), Star Wars risk, subbuteo, football table, telescope, binoculars, spy stuff, Polaroid camera, lockable journal, don't wreck this journal box set

This is a combination of last Christmas, 9th birthday and some of this year's list I hasten to add! Not all one event!

I am place marking as I am stuck on what to get my son this year, he will be ten in January.
Last year he got a 3Ds from FC, he got a BMX the year before but he hadn't used it much until recently! Then from us, his dad, friends and family he got hoodies and clothes that he liked, books, a few cds/dvds, telescope, notepads and pens (lots of these!), table pool, gross magic, London pictures (he loves anything London/Union Jack themed). For his birthday we got him a stereo system which he loves, he loves music.

So stuck this year, think it'll be a tablet or a saxophone from FC (depending on how his saxophone lessons go this year) and then it'll be odd bits and pieces again I imagine.

Oh actually, he is onto football now so we are getting him a new football shirt and I may get him a couple of tickets to the local team matches, magazine subscriptions or days out vouchers are also things I will put on his list for others. I am finding it a really hard age :/
