I am so very nearly finished shopping but still need the following and I am struggling fhmm
Looking for the following:

Lego classic medium brick box 10696 - can only find on amazon for ridiculous price.
Make up set suitable for a tween to play around with inside.
Gifts for 3 x mid teen girls - budget £15 each
Something for the wealthy 30 something couple who have everything! Undecided in budget for this but under £100 for sure.

If anyone is up for the challenge I am more than willing to reciprocate with your odds and ends list!fsmile

Mid teen girls, something from the Tanya Burr range (superdrug) or real techniques make up brushes are very popular and are on offer on Superdrug right now.

Wealthy couple, Hmm - can you play safe with great whisky, Gin and very posh chocolates?
Boots have nice make up sets - young girl friendly as do Wilkinsons.
Lego - no clue
Hope you get sorted!

Wouldn't stress about the Lego. Buy a new Lego storage box ( either real or some other brand) and put a Lego brought of eBay/ Facebook. No Lego fan cares if general type Lego is secondhand.

Wealthy couple - those adult penguin books are brilliant. Is he a hipster or is she into mindfulness? Both funny books on a theme. To go with the top end wine.

Girls no ideas at all apart from usual suspects.

Mid teen girls - lots of stuff in Boots that they would probably like on 3 for 2. Jack Wills, soap and glory etc.
Wealthy couple - would probably go for theatre/gig tickets or vouchers for same.If not would settle for posh wine and chocs or his and her perfume/aftershave gift sets.I guess it depends how well you know them.

Completely stumped on DH's lovely step mum myself. She is wealthy and has everything but not sophisticated at all-a bit eccentric and very active and sociable for 85. Help! In the past have done ticket master to death and the usual M&S blouse/nightie thing. Thanks in advance if anyone has any suggestions.

Argos have the Lego

Macaronipony Tue 08-Dec-15 19:29:36

Ignore me, it's out of stock...but lego shop says in stock next week?

clarabellap Tue 08-Dec-15 21:25:56

Great- thanks for all the ideas. Yes think I will risk just ordering lego from lego shop. Argos made me think they had it in stock too until I got to the last stagefconfused
Recklessgran - would eccentric stepmum appreciate art? Maybe a garden sculpture? Sun dial? A nostalgic antique? A willow basket weaving course (if she is still able bodied enough) - sorry these are all rather randomfblush

Pretty sure Legoland had them, you could call the shop and ask if they do (and could send)

Ooh thank you Clarabellap. Random is good! Forgot about the garden which she does love but is pretty wild - an ornament/bird feeder/nesting box might be good actually. Thanks, I think you just solved my problem.

For the teen girls you could get the 4 Benefit make up minis in a stocking for £15 or a wee kit for £10. Benefit seems to be very popular with teens here although Dd was not getting the advent calendar or the £40 set she wanted! Not at 12!

Movie tickets for the 30+ couple? Do you have the fancy movie theatre, recliner chairs, food and drinks brought to your chairs. ... Called Gold Class in Australia .

clarabellap Wed 09-Dec-15 08:39:29

Oh I like the benefit stocking- will do that for one of the teens for sure.
I will investigate the posh cinema idea - I don't live near them so will have a good google.
Off to look at the links others have suggested too - thank you so much everyone fsmile

Another thing I am looking for that I thought would be easy to find but is proving tricky is a family travel ideas coffee table book! Anyone seen any? Looking for something that covers the glove with beautiful pictures and wonderful destinations that are suitable for all ages!
