Please help me choose animal related playmobil for an 8 year old

My DD is coming up 8 and has started to ask for playmobil for Christmas (She wanted lego last year that got played with for all of 5 minutes). DD loves animals and says she wants to be a vet. I would like to get her something from this range, but have bought her top 3 gifts already so dont want it to be £££ but by the same score I dont want it to be one of the very small sets that she might lose interest in quickly. Has anyone bought anything like this who can please give some recommendations or hints on what I should be looking our for? Thank you

The playmobil vet clinic is a great price at the moment and is played with constantly in my house. Has lots of little accessories, so should be enough to keep an eight year old interested! www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FJR0RQQ?keywords=playmobil%20vet%20clinic&qid=1448795478&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

I have bought the vet one linked above for my DD, also 8.

We already have the vet with car like this which comes with a few bandages and sticker plasters, and has been played with a lot. But it doesn't come with any animals - not a problem for us as we had loads already, but it seems quite a big omission from the set!

This has also been a very popular one, it's a complete little play set, and gets played with loads.

My children both prefer sets with children in rather than adults, and women rather than men - which is why I liked the look of the vet car, but it depends what your DD is in to. If I bought the vet clinic above, I might be tempted to supplement it with a few more "patients" and "owners" - maybe something like this or this

We bought this for DD (then 7.5) last year and then added another pony set.

www.amazon.co.uk/Playmobil-5227-Country-Paddock-Horses/dp/B0077QSN9A/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1448804055&sr=8-3&keywords=Playmobil%20pony&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

And this year I have bought some individual sets with stables to add on.

www.amazon.co.uk/Playmobil-5107-Country-Speckled-Horse/dp/B004H3AKGK/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1448804055&sr=8-12&keywords=Playmobil%20pony&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

We have found it to be very high play value - did suggest the vet clinic but she didn't too keen.
She would love the large pony farm this year but couldn't justify it on top of her other presents - Lego Lego and a bit more Lego.

There was 4 wildlife sets they were doing until quite recently, they should still be available online.

Individual animals will also be available through the accessories and spare parts service.

Some of our wildlife animals have been out all weekend & played with.
