I have completed my gift buying.
Three people only.
I plan to wrap this afternoon.
But I keep seeing other things for them Shock
It's the twitchiness isn't it?

And then if I bought one dc another stocking present I'd have to buy one for the other.

I hate the twitch! Was all wrapped and finished until Black Friday reared it's ugly head and now have gifts with no recipient in mind Angry

Damn twitch :o

I also haven't properly finished, but keep twitching anyway.

I think I just have to accept it will happen every year.

I'm looking for crackers (gold or gold/cream)
Part of me thinks "I can't not have them"
Part of me thinks "What a waste of money, even the ££ ones, how many metal mini tape measures and mini graters do I need. And the cheap ones are full of plastic crap anyway"

I've put off buying them because (I might lose them Xmas Blush ) I need 8 , don't want to buy 2x6 pack.
And M&S always have a million boxes reduced nearer Christmas.
But I want to buy some.........stretches out gnarly trucker hands..........

If anyone has the gift twitch just buy me a present. I am unfussy and grateful for just about anything.

I have yet to commence the present buying joy. I am getting my ideas together tonight and cannot wait.

Me too.

I went to a Christmas Fair last night and twitched by buying DD a book that she liked. But I resisted the twitch to buy DS1 and DS2 another present then just to even it up.

I used to stress about spending the same amount on the three of them AND having the same number of presents each. I have given up this year, hopefully they are old enough to appreciate what they get and not measure parental love by the size of their present piles.

I'm actually more obsessed than ever about getting the amounts/piles even this year! They won't even notice but I will. They mostly like the same stuff anyway and have a lot to share.

DH mentioned a craft fair yesterday - we couldn't actually go anyway, but literally my FIRST thought was "oh god no I can't go there, I'll twitch!"

All bought and wrapped here, even the stocking fillers. I'm feeling pretty smug now Smile
I put post-its on each wrapped gift so I can remember what they are in a few weeks though Blush

The DCs have bought all their gifts too, I left them the wrapping paper out in hopes they'll get them all wrapped this week. You never know, it might happen...

I have nearly finished for the DCs. But I had the twitch last night and DH caught me looking at bikes on Halfords. Thankfully I resisted. But the only reason I resisted is because if I had bought DD1 a bike I would have had to think of another thing to get DD2 and we already struggled to think of things for her. Hmm

I still need to get some stocking gifts and pyjamas/slippers, and dressing up dresses. So no doubt I will get the twitch when I go to get that stuff and things will accidentally be falling into my trolley. Blush

I nearly have everything, really wanted to be all done in November but have two more people to buy for still. And will no doubt find more things for dh in next few weeks too. I am tempted to wrap it all up too but I don't really have anywhere to put it( currently stashed about the house!)

Been in town twitching like a good un today.
Ds's pile has grown to the tune of:
1 Foam Sword, several wooden robots and monsters, 1 glider and a sticker book.

Ive had to drag myself away from the animal ink stamps and call off a fruitless search for a pirate telescope.
