As the title says really, she has just turned 8 at the beginning of November and we bought her the Monster High catacombs house which was originally for Christmas but decided to give it her for her birthday.

She's very much into Monster High, Ever After High and baby dolls. I've bought loads of these dolls to help with her collection but totally stuck on a big present.
She has a bike, scooter, dolls houses, tablet and she's getting Heelys from my dm which she has been asking for for the last two years but I just can't think of anything that will be equal to ds2's wiiu console that he is getting.

What main/big present are you buying your dd?

Lego Elves Skyra's castle is my DD's ' main present' so to speak although she is having 2-3 items in a similar price range is: micro Sprite scooter from her grandad.
Lego changing seasons house
Lego elves bakery ( spotting a theme here)
Books, games, Playmobil etc not really a dolly person.

How about something like Ugg boots, that was what my DD (8 last June) chose to spend her birthday on?

Thanks, she's never asked for Lego but she has played with it so maybe I could sneakily put it across to her!

She loves gymnastics so I've been looking for equipment she could use at home and I've found a folding balance beam that isn't high so could use it to practice on.

I find it's still quite easy to persuade DD as to what she might like, in fairness she is not an I want type of child and has learnt from past experience that if I say something is plastic tat, then it probably is. Ie: chocolate lolly maker, iced slushy maker all come to mind.

She does have a 2 ds and would probably have quite liked a tablet but I'm holding out as long as possible as she's not really an electronic fan (yet)!
What about a 2ds or 3ds and some games ( if she doesn't have one)

The Lego elves series has really captured her imagination, I think because it's fantasy and she is currently reading her way through The Harry Potter books. The castle is also a reasonable size box which makes a difference at that age and to your daughter may well be comparable to wiiu.
