I need to buy some new tree lights in the next few days so probably looking at Tesco or Argos etc. Do I need bright white or warm white is my question... I literally have no idea what I've used previously!!

Warm is much nicer although I prefer coloured ones myself.

Warm. I have warm white.
My mum has bright white and they give me a headache and after a while they look almost like they have a blue tinge

Warm white - the bright white ones are too blueish and they give me a headache too.

WARM. No discussion, or I will come round and cut your electricity off.

Warm. They need to stop selling bright white.

Depends on your house/decor.

Modern - bright
Period - warm

Warm, if you're anywhere near a b&m I got 200 warm white for £14.99. They have them all out and plugged in so you can choose.

I have 5 trees - 2 are fibre optic, one is warm white, one is bright white and the other is coloured - I couldn't decide either

Warm white is much easier on the eyes. Mind you, we have an indoor tree that was designed to be an outdoors tree - the kind that line roads to signpost Christmas stores - and the lights are so strong that it half blinds me when I first switch it on every year. It's absolutely indestructible though!

get warm, and test them early. i got some "warm" ones in sainsburys last year. by the time I'd put them up, and established that they were so bright they were nearly blue, the bloody shops had sold out of the warm ones.

this year I got some in Asda and they're perfect.

Definitely warm but then they go with my theme.

Cool tend to give me a headache - like other posters. It seems to be much harsher.

I agree with the majority too. Definitely soft indoors. We have gone with bright outside though - the boys choice!
