Christmas

Anyone else really confused?

I tend to do the majority of Christmas shopping on line and get it delivered. Every year i order stuff, then order some more, then forget what I'm ordering and get in a right flap and don't know if everything has been delivered. One year I will remember to make a list and tick everything off as it arrives, but this year, like last year, it's a disorganised chaos.
The only plus point is, we've run out of money for Christmas until pay day on Monday, so can't order anything else until then, so hopefully anything outstanding (tesco, im especially looking at you) will hopefully arrive so I can get up the loft and make a proper list of everything up there and get it all in order.
Are you all really organised! Please tell me I'm not alone in my disorganisation!

I keep a running tally on my phone in notes. I then make anything I have bought **BOLD so I know I have it.
So if you get 1/2 an hour pop up and have a look.
I too am now waiting until I get paid again to finish off. Annoyingly the sales are starting this weekend.

If you have a smartphone I totally recommend the app 'santa's bag.' It will keep track of everything and creates shopping lists, logs ideas and manages a budget

I am an awful slut for the shopping but I am kind of organized about it (ish)..I have a spreadsheet with 4 workbooks (Kids, My Fam, In Laws, Friends)...keeps things in perspective and also means I can tot up spends

That said, I went into TK Maxx for a coat for DS1 and bought myself a parka..that figures no where on the spreadie!

I keep all the confirmation emails of my orders then once the item has been delivered i delete the email and then i have a list of who is getting what in the back of my diary. Seems to work ok

I have an excel spreadsheet - and the joy on online shopping is that you have all your receipts in your email inbox so I can make sure I've spent roughly the same on each DC.

Spreadsheet with colour coding for delivery, arrived and wrapped. This level of organisation doesn't come naturally to me but it's the only way I can deal with Christmas shopping.

I also keep all email confirmations of online orders until the order has arrived and I've checked that all is ok.

Spreadsheet here! I keep it on Google sheets, so I can access it on my phone.
