Christmas

What is going in your 4yr old or 15m olds stocking this year?

I need some inspiration!

For ds1 so far I have got a minion glow stick, minion top trumps, inflatable minion and some frozen chocolate coins.

For ds2 my mind is blank. Ds1 was a similar age at Christmas and mostly I remember thinking what a pain it was because you have to buy big things that they can't just shove in their mouths! And no sweets! Can't remember what I actually got him at all Smile

Thank you!

For my 4 year old I've gotten a single serve tub of lucky charms(I would never allow them, that's definitely from Santa!), some Road Tape, a pack of dinky cars, cinema tickets (we go over Christmas any way!)

For the 15month old, how about a new sippy cup, a character plate (Thomas, fireman Sam etc) a cuddly toy, character socks, and tbh I would buy a double of one of the older childs things that is suitable. They like to have the same ime!

My 4 year old will be getting:
Choc coins
Choc reindeer
Some ebayed Sylvanians family figures
Robo fish (got from aliexpress)
Tiny mermaid soft toy
My little Pony sticker book
A kazoo
A satsuma

At around 15 months I remember putting it in things like bath toy animals, bath crayons, happyland figures, hand bells and shakers, bubbles, felt tips.

Last year I tried more practical gifts, like character apron, swimming bag, crocodile gloves, which would work for both ages.

I always wrap stocking gifts which are toys, just not edible stuff. More fun that way

My dd who will be just 5 is having chocolate coins and some other novelty chocolate/sweets, some Lego figures, socks, novelty toothbrush, bath foam, and anything else little I see. Last year her favourite stocking filler was Disney princess plasters!
I will have a 2 month old this year too who obviously won't understand but my dd is already asking what Father Christmas will bring him/her so will do a little stocking with bath stuff, socks, mitts, hat and cuddly too.

I haven't bought anything yet, but my vague plan for my 4 year old is:
Fluffy slippers
Colouring book and pens
Christmassy book - currently considering Slinky Malinky's Christmas Cracker, or the Lighthouse Keeper's Christmas, but will have a look if there is anything that seems good in the bookshop nearer the time
A Schleich animal - depending on which book I get, I will maybe try and get animals that match the ones in the story, or else animals that live in the snow.
Little jigsaw or mini game
Something useful
Gingerbread and chocolate coins.
Satsuma

For my 4 year old I'm just putting her smaller presents in plus 'useable' bits and something chocolatey. So far I've bought dd some tattoo pens, a 'Rubble' night light (from Paw patrol' and a Skye teddy (also paw patrol). I will also put in a bottle of 'Matey' bubble bath, a cheap character electric tooth brush, some nail varnish, a dvd and a cd. I don't really buy plastic tat which is why some of her smaller 'main' presents go in there. The rest is usable stuff.

For dd (almost 4)
Some dolls' house bits
Some mini versions of the Hairy Mclary books I found.
Pack of Jelly Babies
A pack of mini My Little Ponies
Small Chicken Run figure (she loves Chicken Run)
Probably some little cheap craft kit from a supermarket or Wilkos, to keep her busy that evening.

Dd will be 20 months this Xmas, but last year I got her:
Sensory balls
Goodies selection box (couldn't actually find this so it was chocolate in the end)
Xmas bib
Bubble bath

This year I'll get something like:
Xmas top/jumper
Chocolate coins
Xmas book
these toy animals which look great and are huge in the box if you need to bulk it out?!
Bubble bath
Satsuma, of course

Haven't thought about it properly yet though.

For my 4yo ds it'll probably be:
Playmobil fire fighters set (to go with the fire engine as main present)
Kazoo is a great idea!
Chocolate coins
Bubble bath
Xmas book/comic
Octonauts character toy
Battery powered train for wooden set

I'll have to get vaguely similar things for both or there will be tears before 6am...

What about (for both of them)

Bath foam - crazy soap does a green one that they sell in tesco for about £2.50
Bath fizzers that change the colour of the water - tinti ones are fabulous. Alex toys used to do a tub of about 30 for £7 but they're out of stock everywhere this year
Bath crayons
Temporary tattoos
