Ideas for 12 year old boy.

Looking for ideas for my 12 year old half brother for Christmas. I haven't seen or really spoke to him in over 5 years (or our mum but that's a different story).

They've agreed to visit for Xmas this year, and all I've been told is that he likes minecraft and zombies. He has a PS4 but they allow him to play 18rated games, which while it's not really any of my business, I don't agree with,so won't be buying any for him. He is also super interested in soldiers/guns/the army.

I have a budget of about £150ish for him, but my oldest boy is only 7 so not really sure what 12 year old boys do.

Do they still play? Apparently he doesn't like reading and isn't interested in music yet (had thought maybe an mp3 player).

I've just bought the minecraft creeper hoodie and plantsVSzombies game for his birthday, but at a loss for xmas.

Any ideas would be very greatly appreciated!

My kids are 9 and 12 - love their xbox and wi u. They have a game capture device which allows them to film them building a minecraft world etc which they then put on their own channel on youtube.

They also like programming so was looking at the Kano computer kit so they can hack computer games. Also there is something called makey makey where you can turn objects into a piano keyboard. They are all on amazon if you are interested.

Mine have ipads, ds's, xbox, wii u - its hard to think what else they could possibly want.

What about K'nex - they have offers at Argos at the moment. I've got my 12 year old the rollercoaster.

Ooh I forgot about k'nex, I used to love that, I don't know if he'd bother with it but it will be worth keeping in mind definitely.
