Lost My Grandaughters Christmas Presents

We DH and I packed some of my grandaughters presents, unwrapped in a box for safe keeping in a box. DH was supposed to put the box in the cupboards above our wardrobe. it's not there! The box is patterned
there are two there but they have blankets in them.
We have turned the house upside down, its only a tiny, the only other place is the loft, and that is stuffed to the gunnels. DH is adamant it isn't up there. I am really upset there was a set of books 2 dvds a big doll and a couple of other items. I can't get in the loft to look myself and it is soooo frustrating.
Have you any suggestions? I am steaming with him.

Pay another child £5 to look for it for you, assuming the loft is safe.

The dustbin men haven't been since he was suppose to put them on top of the wardrobe, have they?

Maybe you didn't put them in the box you think you did. Look in every type of box. Under the bed maybe?
