WHat does Father Christmas bring a 8 week old?

if this was DC1, the answer would be nothing, as she is too young to care or even notice, but her older sister will expect the baby to receive presents too. In our house FC only brings small cheap things, and there aren't many suitable for small babies.
So far she has got Christmas bibs, socks, a teething toy, a cuddly reindeer, a hairbrush and a bath toy. My other ideas are a book, a rattle type toy, baby wipes that are at least useful, bubble bath for when she is older. Any other suggestions welcome!

Maybe get some bits for when she starts eating food, eg a nice plastic bowl and a cup or beaker.

  • Clothes
  • Blankie style teddy comforter
  • soft book which can be attached to pram
  • activity mat or gym
  • sensory balls or cubes
  • musical toy- mine loved a musical caterpillar with different classical music. It was by Leapfrog I think and it also had different textures on it and numbers, so it will be a toy that lasts beyond the 3-6 month phase.

Things she needs anyway. We had this dilemma too. I found nappies etc took up lots of space!

Last year our 12 day old got wrist and foot rattles, a little blanket with lots of tags all around it, some gorgeous outfits and his first teddy. DS1 was 2.2yo on the day and really didn't notice DS2 didn't get lots! He was far too excited by his presents, giant piles of paper and boxes and the chocolate coins :)
