Main present for a 7 year old?

I'm really stumped for DSD. She has no idea what she wants. She loves crafting, little figures, teddies etc.

I've got her loads of fillers but DS has a Nintendo DS, DD has a camera and DS2 has a kitchen. I need a main present for her but what do I get?

A sewing box? or a craft box?

DD (just 8) wants a desk. More than anything on earth, apparently.

Sewing machine? ,Dolls house ? Dolls house as in a more grown up hobby rather than a toy .

Kindle, if she likes reading? Lego friends set, Sylvanian family House.

iPod nano? DD just got one - suggested by elder DD - and loves it!
Had lots of fun loading up music and books and for an added bonus - it counts steps! Hadn't expected that one or the excitement it would cause.

DD's main presents are a playmobil pyramid and one of the lego creator houses.

Although her favourite thing will probably be a monster high doll that DH found in a sale

Oh but her favourite present last year (she was 6 and a half) was a huge box of craft stuff. I just went to The Works and bought a pack of pretty much everything in their craft section - sequins, ribbons, foam shapes, buttons, coloured paper etc and shoved it all into various little boxes inside a bigger one. We did similar for DSD at a similar age IIRC.

Echo Fuzz's craft box. DD got one for Christmas - like a large wicker food hamper but jammed full of craft stuff. And she loved it!

I've done a small craft box for all of them (one of the few Xmas traditions we have!) but maybe I could do a sewing one for her.

I might sit her down with a smyths catalogue later!

One of those little coloured sewing machines from John Lewis and a book of simple sewing projects to get her started.
