Has anyone been to LaplandUK two years running?

We went for the first time last year and had a lovely time, there are a few things I'd do differently if we decide to go a second time... earlier in the day would be the first thing so I could take photos past the first hour and not try and negotiate the rain and the dark at the same time!!!

I also loved that we did one Father Christmas visit, no other queues or crowds etc to cope with.

Very tempted to go again this year, for those who might have been two years running did the children enjoy it as much the second time? This will either be our last or second to last Christmas in the UK --unless DH changes his mind again-- so I want to make the most of the winter Christmas and all it entails before we go back to a warm Christmas!

Yes we have been twice and are planning a third trip. My ds actually enjoyed it better the second time as he knew what to expect.

It is expensive, you pay more for the few weeks before Xmas top price was about £70 pp over 12mths prices all the same, if u go in Nov / early Dec then its about £40_50 if I remember correctly.

6 of us went last year (me, dh, 2 DC and my parents), it pee'd with rain practically the whole time and we still loved every second if it!!

Kids get a lovely gift from FC, lovely crafty/story with Mrs FC, ice skating, husky dogs and real reindeer... smashing festive fun!!

Are there any any particular operators that you would recommend ? Have people done day trips, or been overnight? I'm interested in doing this and would welcome any advice! Thanks
