All presents go out on christmas eve here, but my dc are 5 and 2 so are too little to leave presents under the tree too early.

Xmas Eve after the Dc are in bed.

FC brings one each and the rest are from us. They know there are wrapped prezzies in the cupboard.

We're only giving one from us and the rest is from Santa. They'll all go under the tree when the dcs are in bed on Christmas Eve. Presents from anyone else are already there.

Christmas Eve. Too much potential for poking/prodding/shaking/opening/guessing otherwise

Christmas eve after they've gone to bed, they all go on the hearth rather than under the tree. We put ours to each other there as well. No room to have them out beforehand.

Oh, I've been wondering about this!

But, wont they be sad that they have no presents? Grin

Christmas eve here to, my very impulsive ds(6) is so excited about the presents for my dm and family wrapped in my bedroom let alone if there was ones for him under the tree

We've always done it that way, so they know no different.

1am on Christmas morning.

The whole Wow effect is for presents to suddenly appear.

Anyway they'd get poked prodded and peeked in.

I wasn't brought up to believe in Santa and we always went to my grandparents on Xmas Eve for Xmas day so presents appeared in their living room.

DH's family always had cats and presents and cats don't mix, so theirs were put out last thing on Christmas Eve and the door shut.

Ours still go under the tree on Christmas Eve when DCs are asleep.

Only problem is they are 25 and 23 so DH and I are often knackered trying to wait up! Grin

Christmas Eve once we've finally got them off to bed, put the wrapping paper over the doorway (for them to burst through) and put the stockings by the beds.

I have been debating about this. Tempted to put some out from us early but I also think it will take away a bit of the magic they will surreptitiously unwrap them at the corners

FC brings all the presents regardless of who the giver is.

Oh love the idea of wrapping the doorway, mine would love that but what if they catch you wrapping the door?

Whenever they're wrapped - Father Christmas brought the stockings which go out last thing Christmas Eve.

Ours are under tree already. They might have the odd poke, but are old enough to leave them alone.

We put all gifts under the tree and stockings on their beds before we go to bed. It's usually a great night of last minute wrapping, cheeky tipple of something and animated whispering between DH and I!

We have a very nosy dog there is no way he could ignore presents even if the Dc did. Christmas eve here too.

We put all presents out on Christmas Eve. The kids are 6 and 3 and I think they would just mess with the presents too much.

We are getting our tree today and everything that's wrapped will go under it. DC's presents from us and eachother likely won't go under it until Christmas eve because we probably won't get round to wrapping until then.

We don't reach our destination until Christmas Eve, plus I couldn't trust him not to poke, squish and prod, dh that is, the dc would probably be fine!

Presents from me to the DC go under the tree on Boxing Day or when ever they are asleep and I'm going to bed on Christmas night, ready for the next morning.

Gifts from anyone else are put under the tree as and when given. Presents for other people go under there when wrapped. On Christmas Eve Santa adds a few extra in for the DC, but well hidden and mixed in with the others.

Presents to other family members are wrapped and under the tree now. Presents to dd from Father Christmas are left in front of the fireplace on Christmas Eve.
