Having bought gifts for her for 20 odd years I feel like I've bought everything before... Anyone purchased their Mum a great present? Please share it with me!

That's a lovely idea, just bought her a magazine subscription after seeing it on the Christmas thread so some bits like that would go nicely!!

A sewing machine as her ancient one has finally given up the ghost.

A clock and wind chime that she pointed out whilst shopping a few months ago and I found a cute elephant cushion in tyger (she collects elephant stuff) and some proper Turkish delight.

Tickets to see a theatre show, favourite perfume and pjs. I get the perfume and pjs every year so try and pick something she won't be expecting each year as well.

This year a swarovski Bambi ornament jointly with my sister and some cushions but I think her favourite gift was 2 years ago when I bought her a lovely old planter and filled it with nice plant pots, packets of seeds, little ceramic hearts, mini watering can, gardening gloves, nice hand cream, some garden plant sticks and other assorted nick nacks

Theatre tickets from me and DP (and also one for me!)
Diffuser, perfume and other little bits from the DC.
I won't see her open them as she wanted to have Christmas day at home with her OH and my DSis, but I know she'll be happy with them :)
She's bloody hard to buy for, buys herself anything she needs/wants when she sees it, so I struggle Confused
We have bought MIL membership to the Tate Galleries, some L'Occitane stuff and DS did a handprint which his toddler group had made into a reusable shopping bag so she will have that too.

Nice bubble bath, DVD box set and copious amounts of Baileys. My mum's is always the most boring present I buy. Grin

I bought my mum a set of fancy non caffinated tea (little tasters in pretty jars) and a voucher for a swedish massage that I found quite close to where she lives. I'm very pleased with the second present :) it's at a very eco type place that is totally up her street and if she likes the family that run it then it's another local connection for her (my father died in January and we all worry a bit about her being isolated).

I hate buying for my mum. She's is so hard to buy for and you can tell when you've got it wrong! I'm not really happy with this years but unless I can think of something last minute I'll just have to go with it! I've got her a box set of 8hr cream, a personalised phone cover and as a joke a book on the kardashians as they're her guilty pleasure. I've got MIL a canvas of her children and a pair of leather gloves as hers have holes in.

House of fraser voucher to buy a Thomas sabo charm with. I bought her the bracelet for her birthday, but she wants to pick the charm herself (which is good as I had a look and wouldn't know which one to go for!)

Mil, will be getting her a lamp she has seen.

StepMIL, a kettle she mentioned to sil that she wanted for her new house, chocolate.
