I can't drink for the next month because of new meds. Normally this would be non-issue but..
No mulled wine with the carols! No sherry with the pud. No champagne (well prosecco) on New Year's Eve.

Fruit juice is too sweet to have with meals, water's fine but not for a festive toast.

Any ideas for nice soft drinks for celebrations?

Bottlegreen do a spiced berry cordial to which you can add hot water for a non-alcoholic drink similar to mulled wine. Health shops do the Rochester cordials with something of the same, and Ikea do a non- alcoholic Glogg.

Shloer do fizzy grape juice, and Waitrose have a red grape juice in their chilled fruit juice section made from merlot grapes, which is a little sweet but could be diluted a bit with soda.

You could have sparkling water with squeezed juice added, lemon, lime, or clementine which would be a lot less sweet.

Shirley Temples are lovely, grenadine syrup topped up with ginger ale and a maraschino cherry bunged in.

The mulling syrup from Lakeland is lovely with warmed apple juice and feels festive...

Heat up cloudy apple juice with some cinnamon in for an alternative to mulled wine.

Heat up 1 litre each of cranberry & orange juice (the tarter the better) couple of cinnamon sticks & mulled wine spices to boiling point & then reduce heat & simmer for 20 mins.
