I've been going through the things I've bought already and realised I've bought shed loads for DD but only one thing for DS. I can't seem to find decent things that are small enough to fit in.

So what's everyone buying?

My 6 year old DS is getting
Spiderman electric toothbrush (on offer in Tesco)
Squidgy soap in a can
Expandable flannel
Mini Transformers (from B&M)
Books
Lego mini figure blind bag
Moshi Monster blind bag
Lots of sweeties and chocolates, including Jelly Belly "Bean Boozled" which have some disgusing flavours!
Spiderman DVD (some episodes from the original series, 99p in B&M)

Um, that's all I can remember off the top of my head, I've been buying things for a while and stashing them away so it should be interesting when I pull it all out and realise I've got far too much.

Thank you, I've got one of those mini lego bags. It's so hard because DS doesn't do superhero's or anything that 7 year old boys are supposed to like.

Ds 8 has got some light sabre pencils, a tin of black putty, and that's it so far!! Oops seems like I'm like you op dd has got a shed load. Just as ideas last year ds had:
mini compas on a string
key ring with name on
lush soap and bath bomb wrapped up like a bumble bee
light up yo yo
pot of honey
new face cloth
top trumps
sweets and chocs
finger scooter
where's Wally mini note book and pen
Really had to rack my brains then, I try to make the stockings a bit better than full of crap, so I do spend a little more.

I've got 3 boys all around that age. Ideas for this year's stockings include sachet of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, spy glasses, funky water bottle, origami paper and book, Bear Grylls scouting book, Top Trumps, book of card games, istand, wallet, gogos, funky pens, compass.

Last year's stockings (between them) featured wallet, goggles, shin pads, felt tips, puzzle book, torch, Lego mini men, egg cups.

Ds got a grow your own crystal set for his birthday which was easy and fun. Officially 10+ but as long as you do it with him it'd be fine.

My DS is younger than yours but some things in his stocking would suit older boys too I reckon:

Small moshi bus
Where's wally pack of 5 small books
Whoppee cushion
Snowman and snowdog notebook and pen
Hexbug fish
Hexbug in a plastic Christmas bauble
Spiderman bath stuff
Small Spiderman finger skateboards
Gold chocolate medal
M&Ms in Christmas tree box
Small box of mints (from the London Transport museum - which he has been hankering after all year!)
Bubblegum - not usually allowed, first time he will have tried it
Where's Wally wand thing where you have to look for wally through the glass
Scratch and sniff stickers
Small concorde plane
Another small plane which when you press the button lights up and makes a jet sound (and keeps going off in the cupboard!)

Magazine (beano or similar) to keep him quiet from 5am to a slightly more acceptable hour.
And otherwise NOTHING too noisy ... Santa always closes the bedroom door behind him when he leaves. Thoughtful chap.
