Any tips on bulk book buying?

So this year I am taking the stress out of shopping for all the children of the family and close friends by buying everyone PJs and a matching book.

I never really buy new books and definitely not in bulk like this. I'm after a website that will give me a good discount for bulk buying around 12 kids books at once. Does anyone know what my best bet is?

Smile

Did you mean you want literally the same book or just a similar type? As the book people do things like sets of rainbow fairy books, beast quest, where's Wally, Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton etc that you could get and then split up?

Well Amazon will have different titles discounted at different times, you could track prices through CamelCamel and be alerted if it gets to a price you want to pay and there's no delivery charge for books.
Book People will have fewer titles but may have better discounts, especially if, say, you have three 4 or 5yo children to buy for as them you could buy the three Pirate Cruncher books for £4.99 and give one to each child. There are usually voucher codes for free delivery or x% discount once you have spent y amount.
Or just go into somewhere like WHS where they usually have buy one child's book at full price and get another half price.

Book people and banana books often have good offers, banana books does a box of children's books ( I think they still do them ) for not much money, I have bought a few boxes before and have had some good books in them.

Book people - google and find a voucher offer usually you can get one for 10% or 15% off and free delivery.

Depends on age range of children and what ypu want to spend but you will find it with them.

It's a nice idea, i like it, would you be tempted to simplify it further? I don't think you'd loose much by teaming nice pjs and nice age appropriate book but not worrying about the 'theme' Matalan are doing two for £10 on a nice range of pj's and between Amazon / Costco / The Book People you can get good bundles or keep an on HUKD / our bargain threads for the cheap books (lovely stories for £1.50)

not cheap but very gorgeous! www.bhs.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=34096&storeId=13077&productId=11171984&langId=-1&categoryId=&parent_category_rn=&searchTerm=snowdog&resultCount=1 I bought these recently with I think 20% off code (might have been 25%) so not so bad. They are stunning though! I cant wait to put my little boy in them on xmas eve!

Costco do packs of 10 books (grufflalo, gruffalo's child etc) for £10 that can be opened and split. Great value for money.

Luggage any chance you could do clicky links or say what product you linked to on those please? I'm looking for inspiration but copy and pasting isn't working on those :)

oh not sure why they arent working - they are pajama and book sets at bhs. I bought my son the snowman and snowdog set (gorgeous pjs and the story book). They have 4 different ones (pjs and book for £14ish)

aaargh! Sad and I don't know why the links didn't work for me either - I ticked the 'convert links' box Blush. The copy and paste did work for me if you want to see them though.
