Not exactly Christmassy, but free poster on British wildlife through the year available from the OU. Could go in a stocking, I suppose!

Thanks reastie!!!

Have got the Ikea kitchen, any tips for fruit, veg, tea setS etc to go with it ? X

CoffeeOne · 15/10/2013 15:34

Re the Hearst magazine farce.

I responded to them 6 days ago (again) pointing out again that there terms and conditions stated that I could cancel in the trial period and no mention of having to send any free gifts back, and I asked them to reply to me confirming my order was cancelled and that I did not owe them anything. They haven't replied. Really annoyed by all of this. Spoiling my Christmas cheer!

Mama1980 · 15/10/2013 15:35

I got the ou poster mentioned, it's lovely and really good quality, I'm going to wrap it in with a nature book I got for ds1 for Christmas.

NannyPlumForPM · 15/10/2013 15:37

bloody hell ANOTHER NEW THREAD!

Has anyone received the glamour or company gifts? Ordered a while ago but heard nothing....

LaTrucha · 15/10/2013 15:39

Duplo is very seldom reduced substantially. I looked and looked last year and ended up buying second hand on ebay. It was all great though.

Thanks for the TK Maxx Brio vehicle builder link about two threads ago. I think my kids are going to play loads with it.

CoffeeOne

SorRy to read about yr Hearst problem re subscription-maybe just ignore them ?

Every now and again they call me to offer me Red mag at £1 for 3 issues and £x price thereafter by dd. The first time they called I said that sounds great but tbh I wont be able to do the direct debit thereafter (was going to be jobless) and the person on the phone said just do what everyone else does and pay the £1 and then cx your dd and you will just get the 3 magazines & down the line they will offer it to you again at same cost ! Well I did - I just cancel the dd after it has gone from my account and I have never ever had a problem. Sorry that you have.

Isn't ThinkGeek's postage mindbuggeringly expensive these days? I used to order from them a lot about [gulp] fifteen years ago but then the shipping went crazy.
