Hi

New to Dundee, and looking for some tips please on where's great for a visit to Santa, and any recommendations for a little train ride with Santa. Toddler will be three by Xmas.
And anything else you can think of.

Thank you.

you might be better on the MN local site.

train rides with santa www.caledonianrailway.com/Santa_Specials.php

I suppose the usual suspects will be wellgate, overgate and Keillor centres. Apex hotel maybe, down at discovery point? Dobbies?

Thanks, will ask on there too, but we are happy to travel further than Dundee for something fabulous, so hoping other Scots will see this thread and offer tips!
Thanks for yours. We did the Thomas the Tank engine day at Caledonian. Pretty cute.

The falkirk wheel does a Santa trip. It's pretty cool...

I'm liking the idea of the boat, thanks, clr.
mumtoone1, ha, that always happens, you say you can't remember, post, and then it comes! Thanks, the Bo'Ness one looks nice.

Glamis Castle do a 'Children's Christmas Celebration', which is lovely...songs and stories in the castle and milled wine for adults. The castle is all decorated beautifully and it just feels so wonderful and christmassy. There is also a fab Santa's grotto and a nice cafe so you can make a day of it. Just look on their website for details and booking.

The best santa is at Dobbies out by monifieth, you have to book tickets its so busy. My dc liked santa at camperdown zoo (and the money went to the zoo).

Not sure about train rides etc

ginger, Glamis Castle looks wonderful, great tip, thank you.

And thanks, Claimed. I will check out Dobbies. I don't support zoos so will have to boycott the Camperdown one, but thanks anyway.
