Apparently Denbies do a good Christmas event, though it's not on their website yet - http://www.denbies.co.uk/Groups/126192/Denbies_Wine_Estate/Events_Exhibitions/Family_Events/Family_Events.aspx

We are North Hampshire/Surrey borders.

Both of these have been recommended to me:

We always do the ice skating in the middle of the Christmas market in Winchester. Very Christmassy.

Don't know which end of Hampshire you are but Lapland UK has moved to near windsor. Although we looked at it and I thought it was too expensive

Any other ideas welcome

thanks again

Horndean garden centre is well worth a visit. They usually have reindeer in the lead up to Christmas, and their Christmas decorations and model village areas really are the loveliest I have seen smile

Must pencil in a weekend to take my dd, actually!
