Dh and I have been so busy the last two weekends making stuff. I need somewhere to brag about it!Grin

Dh makes jams and chutneys and hassle strawberry jam, apricot jam, cherry jam, plum and chilli chutney, and a chilli and tomato hot sauce.

Yesterday I dabbled in liqueurs for the first time. Raspberry vodka, blackberry vodka, blackberry rum, cherry rum and cherry brandy. All sitting in bottles in my bedroom doing their thing! Grin

And today I realised I have all the ingredients in the house that I need to make lip balms so I ordered a bunch of the tin pots to put them in. I will use organic raw coconut oil, beeswax, and a few drops of bio oil.

Just off to knit my own yoghurt now :)

That all sounds amazing! I need to get on with some blackberry jam. Bit of a novice!

I'm hoping to make truffles this year for the first time. I'm also quite into paper crafts/ origami. Biggest annual project is making advent calendar each year.

How do you make lip balm?

According to google, you melt the coconut oil and beeswax in a double boiler, add the essential oils and then pour into the tins. Easy!

I am also looking at maybe drying out the lavender from the garden and making little tea sachets with it.

That sound lovely! I always make my Christmas pudding vodka the first week in October and then filter and decant it first week of December. Who knows, there might actually be some left on Chrustmas day this year Blush.

Will be making vodka at the end of august and a cake in October and that's her lot.
Wish I was a bit more arty crafty but its not to be.
