My DS will be 5 this Xmas & DD 18 months old. My DS favourite DVds from last year were Polar Express, Home Alone & The Snowman. Just wondering if any of you had any suggestions for good ones for this year as thinking I may be able to get a few bargains on Xmas DVDs this time of year

Thanks x

In our house we love Elf, Fred Claus (although maybe a bit grown up!) and Arthur Christmas.

I got muppets christmas carol from play.com for £2.50 last week and I'm planning to get miracle on 34th street, hopefully that will be just as bargainous!!

Not sure if they'd be too young or not but my DS 4 loves mickeys once upon a Christmas and twice upon a Christmas.

I'd second Arthur Christmas, it's really good. The Tim Allen Santa Claus movies are also worth a look.

The snowman and the snowdog will be out for this christmas so I am the children are excited for that!

I We love the snowman too, I love the polar express but DD 5 finds it a bit scary as she's very sensitive. She like Christmas with the Kranks too as that has some quite funny parts- similar to Home Alone in style.

I found quite a few titles in the pound shop last year that held their attention. Have a look for Rudolph the red nosed reindeer that's quite a sweet little film for that age.
