dc's will be nearly 15, 12, nearly 9 and nearly 8. they are each getting a 3ds and game but thats all i can think of so far. i have a buzz lightyear umbrella for the almost 9 year old, and some create your own moshi monsters for the girls stockings. but thats it. i have no idea what to get them.

yes the boys are 14 and 12 so not much interest in toys either. no football interest either. they will get a dvd each, a couple of books and a new outfit but other than that am totally stuck. the girls are 8 and 7 so more interest in toys but they have so much i have no ideas there either

I think girls aged 8 and 7 are good ages for craft activities - lots in The Works. I've got my 5YO a scooter, have they got one of these for the school walk?

they have tons of craft stuff. only dd2 does a walk to school and has a scooter.

OK, I'll have another go Grin. Try teenage boys this time:

A starbucks/Costa (whichever is your local) gift card in one of their branded mugs as a stocking filler. My teenage DSDs hang out at coffee shops all the time with their mates. Might get them Wetherspoons voucher as 'Spoonies' is becoming a friday lunchtime ritual (with all their mates)!

Teenagers also get perfume/aftershave (from fragrance direct or boots/debenhams sale). Could ask their friends for the 'in' fragrance.

A new watch.

Those fancy branded headphones (Beats?)

iPod/other technical gubbins

Books - fiction/nonfiction

Digital camera/photography stuff

And for the girls:

Soap & Glory toiletry sets from boots are lovely/popular with DSDs.

Hello Kitty stuff is everywhere discounted: stationary sets, trinket boxes, ringbinders, toiletries etc (see Clinton cards online and WH Smith)

Handwarmer like this www.dotcomgiftshop.com/hand-warmer-owl
(£4.99 as stocking filler) Loads of lovely stuff in dotcomgiftshop

Make up a baking set - mixing bowl, wooden spoon, plastic spatula, cookie cutters, silicone cupcases, and an apron (lovely retro aprons for under a fiver in dotcomgiftshop) www.dotcomgiftshop.com/search/site/apron You could include some writing icing (available in supermarket) and decorating sprinkles etc.

Ds will be 13 at Christmas. He is getting the new xbox. But he has been told not to expect much for his birthday as imo it cost too much just for xmas but he happily accepts this. A few games and some new clothes. He wont have much to open. Actually he has just started wearing aftershave (hasnt specifically said but boy can you smell him) so might get him a bottle of something cheap as well.

trust my kids to be awkward but they are not into any of those things. ds1 really wants the new xbox but i have said no. he has a mug he uses for his tea, doesnt wear aftershave but i will get him some. beats would be good, might get some of them. doesnt wear a watch, will get some books and already has a really fancy photography kit as is doing gcse photography in sept.
ds2 is high functioning autistic, doesnt hang around in town as cant be trusted. doesnt read much but will get books, has a mug, nowhere near the aftershave stage. he is probably the most awkward one as the things he likes are mostly too hard for him, and the things he can do are too young and dont interest him.
dd1 is another awkward one, has aspergers and adhd. she loves gaming so will probably have an extra game or two, loves angry birds, moshi monsters and buzz lightyear so any of those things are good.
dd2 was thinking of an ereader as she always has her face in a book, not into hello kitty, and both girls have skin issues so smellies are out. dd2 loves dinosaurs.
