Well it's done, dm didn't let me down and behaved exactly like I thought she would sad but my boys spoilt me to make up for it. How did yours go?

That was hmm

DH ill, I've been doing all the cleaning and shopping while trying to look sympathetic.
Stupid people in the queue at M&S today, it was before 10am and the people in front of me took ages as their order wasn't readily available. Their time slot was 1pm - 2pm [fhmmm] and they had the cheek to moan

derekthehamster Mon 24-Dec-12 13:34:55

I'm ill, and dh went out last night and is now nursing a massive hangover angry

The house is still a tip (I've been ill for over a week now), presents and suitcases are still in the loft (2 presents still to be wrapped). A sainsburys trip is needed for milk and petrol.

Christmas eve? Bah humbug

It's pissing down so can't even get DM and DD out for a walk, DD was awake from 3-6.30am, DP has just gone to buy my bloody Xmas present, without even trying to hide the fact that he's left it til the last minute and i'm basically getting whatever John Lewis have got left (he's been renovating the house for weeks so IABU but still he could have pretended) And I'm pg (delighted to be but) can't even have a bloody drink!

Mine is having Christmas lunch in a hotel with the in laws tomorrow, would so much rather selfishly spend it with my family

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo Mon 24-Dec-12 13:24:04

I think my DH thinks that the xmas fairy's come to our house and sort it all out.

Boo to morning sickness and in laws (I could start a whole new moaning thread about in laws and boxing day)

And I hate hate hate it when you think you have done and find you have forgotten something!!

Starting to feel much better already!

Kirstoll Mon 24-Dec-12 12:54:30

Oh chocolatecoins, you really do have my sympathies. Me and dd are making biscuits but at least we can keep ourselves occupied. Morning sickness sucks. Speciallyon your own sad <big Xmas hug>

Kirstoll Mon 24-Dec-12 12:52:20

Can I rant about useless bloody dh that thinks that Christmas just 'happens' presents just 'happen' and the bloody food shop gets delivered by father Christmas while he wastes my new year sales money in the pub!!!!!! He promised me christmas eve grrrr.

ChocolateCoins Mon 24-Dec-12 12:51:51

It was my birthday yesterday and am suffering really badly with morning sickness. DD wouldn't go to bed last night and I felt so ill but DP still went out with his friends last night. He is now out with his friends again today. On christmas eve. He doesn't see the problem angry

Not exactly Christmas related, but still.

Also dreading going to the ILs tomorrow.

Dh is doing what he terms the supermarket triathlon. So far since yesterday morning we have been to Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, Sainsbury, Co op and Spar. We keep forgetting something or something isn't t in stock.

He is mighty pissed off! I can't go as am cuddling ill dd who cries if I stop cuddling her

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo Mon 24-Dec-12 12:41:49

Let's get it off our chests now, then get on and enjoy Christmas! My mum is coming tomorrow, last time she came she sat on her fat arse, did nothing to help and just waited to be entertained and fed, I had an 11 week old baby and she didn't lift a finger to help it's not like she isn't able, she is just thoughtless and lazy sad she is coming again tomorrow, it's my turn, I am 21 weeks pg and I just know she will do the same again sad

So that is mine, what's yours?
